I fitted them. Brillaint stuff. All the way from malaysia.
Checking the valve clearing at the first service, specially on a engine with shims, seems crazy to me, my suzuki bandit have done 50K miles and have been checks twice (after 20K and 40K) and both times it have been with in specs.
Do you deliver to Australia? Also, the clutch pedal, can that be converted to heel and toe style rocker?
What if they stuck a 450 cc in the meteor to give it motorway speed ,how would that go ,I recon it would be perfect
I haven’t found anyone that has also plugged in a Obd2 scanner, everyone just test rides. I want to see the short term fuel change with each setting. How about it.
Thank you! Very useful and informative
I tried to watch this.. had to give up because I couldn't see what you were talking about. Zoom out a bit....
I was seriously considering buying a BSA (to replace my Triumph, which I'm now finding too tall and too heavy) but I'm currently seeing relatively large numbers of used Gold Stars for sale with very low mileages, this is making me wonder why ?.. Also I'm a bit concerned about the implications of Euro5 (not BSA's fault of course..) with regard to the GPS tracking function, on-board recording and storage of performance data and the GPS speed limiter. I know the speed limiter function on bikes is not being activated yet due to it being deemed dangerous when cornering, but I'm not sure whether it is still being fitted, with a view to activating it at some point in the future (which the EU insist it will be once the 'gremlins' have been ironed out..)
Absolutely disappointed, I was looking forward to watching this video but it soon became very clear that there is absolutely no sign of Clint Eastwood..
That's a kick ass exhaust man. Really looks nice on this bike.
My TEC rack just snapped both sides on my Interceptor, 2 days before I'm going on a bike trip. It had an aluminium top box attached to it via an adapter plate i had bolted on it. A mate of mine is hopefully going to weld it up and add some reinforcement to it. I did use it to do Lands End to John o Groats last year, so i had used the rack for about 2700 miles before it broke. If you want pictures to show where it snapped i can send them to you via email or somehow as it might help show where rack could be strengthened in the future?
I cannot really tell from the video, but are these capable of lowering the pegs, or just locate them farther out?
I imagine it would be much easier to accidentally be burnt with this stainless system.
Shrouded rear shocks?
I ran BSAs, for 12 years in the 70s and 80s. I think they have done a good job, in a "DNA" way, it looks like a modern reincarnation of a BSA single and has the original Gold Star, (not the later, B50 GS ss model), look, almost uncannily! I appreciate, what Enfield has done and Triumph, though I think their engines are bulky and do not have the grace of the original Meridan machines. I think it's a good start! Everybody seems to think it rides well, damping aside?
does the last model 2024 has the same rrestriction? specs are 65 hp and 80nm torque
Are them washers available on the Web site I'm a returning biker in the process of buying an interceptor cheers.👍
is the royal enfield gt650 engine more tunable?
Why not just put de-cat head pipes on? Genuine question not sarcasm.
A CNC heal toe shifter would be awesome on Meteor 350
This nonsense is like re inventing the wheel for the sake of it. Theres nothing wrong with the OEM exhaust.
Can you please make a detailed video on the mid mount foot pegs. Great products. Thanks
That was a response to barrydave
Seems like a block between the fender and tire would do the trick. I think he was working with the bike on the kickstand, the frame drops not the swing arm. Am i missing something? If it was on a center stand nothing would happen unless you removed both shocks at the same time.
hello, thank you for the video, for the oil level how to read, the gauge screwed in, or the gauge installed, thank you for your response
Any idea what would make the bike stall and not idle well after this cam upgrade?
Very honest and comprehensive review. I respect your objectivity and rationality.
Why is everyone making exhausts, but there's no "nice" heat shield alternative. I want something nicer than this ugly plate. Something like the scrambler 900 has would be nice.
I superglue the gasket to the pipe
If I end up getting my Trident 660 I'll be getting this exhaust just because of how brilliant this video is and the support! Well done TEC!
Excellent video and you’re an awesome motorcycle mechanic, It’s a pleasure to watch you work.
Do you need a booster plug for a 2024 triumph scrambler 1200xe? I’m getting the dna exhaust and shotgun cutoff exhaust
Which front suspension used sir??
Hi do I need to buy new gasgets thruxton r thanks.
My son picked up a new BSA Goldstar yesterday and rode it home.but gear changes were awful. Shifting up especially 2nd to third took 3 attempts to engage. Hes done about 150 mikes on it and the gear changes are dificult. Is this normal for a new engine? Thanks.
Does the reservoir get in the way if you have the SW Motech Legend soft bags?
I am without a doubt going to start referring to everything that needs to be tightened as "nipped up" ...love that!
Stupid question about the front preload adjusters, can you set them them UNEven when you adjust them?
Is there a polished variant of this exhaust system?
You can polish yourself, or a polishing shop that's the only option
2024 my friend
Legend as always
Wondering where i could get the camshaft done on my next visit to the UK? is there a general consensus on a good shop to contact?
So, you can use this cam on any of the 650's?
It never ceases to amaze me how manufacturers spend millions on R&D and some wanker in a shed comes along and thinks he knows better 🙄
This has reassured my desire to buy one of these when I'm 19. get my a2 and ride it a2 restricted till I'm 21, get full A and then swap cam and exhaust, plus weight reduction cause I wanna do some mods to the looks of one if I buy one.
Two questions, heard somewhere you need to leave the baffle in,right or wrong?and are these road legal?
Wow. Good job.
Great Job ! Thank you very much! Certainly my next investment in my Euro 4 Himalayan !
Might I suggest you consider an alternative clock mount bracket for the bike which angles the clocks back towards the rider more 👍🏻
side panels look awfully wonky imo ............... the top edge needs to be horizontal, or in line with the seat base ...........
