Some time later another came around and she ran straight to him licking and acting like she'd known him for years and he hadn't been around. Listen to your animals, folks. @@pithub6903 it would be a lot to cover, but for some details that'll get you interested. Things started happening before they moved into the house, one example being the dog they actually had, Carolyn named 3 years before they found the house and she named it Bathsheba (could be coincidence, but some have called it an omen) At one point Carolyn went into the barn/shed and a sickle was flung at her (I believe it normally hung off a nail in the rafters), and if not for the fact that it was a cold morning and she was wearing extra layers it would've cut her throat. Roger actually decked Ed Warren during the Warren's final visit, because he and Lorraine invited a psychic or someone that asked any entities to speak and then Carolyn was thrown like 15ft or something from the seance room into the room behind her, they briefly thought she was dead. There was no happy ending or resolution like in the movie, the Perron's lived there for 10 years, because they couldn't afford to move again.

    basically, Bathsheba who didn't actually sacrifice her son but he actually died of natural causes as back then it wasn't rare for children to die suddenly, because of the trauma, it attracted a demonic entity which was actually in disguise as the boy, the paranormal investigators ed and loraine Warren were real people and were pretty famous, went to the house because of a possession where they preformed the exorcism in the living room, but reports say the possessed women levitated in her chair and was flung 20 feet into the kitchen. Bathsheba isn't the only spirit that possesses the real life house of the conjuring and is actually known as a neutral spirit, there are also 3 soldiers buried in the walls of the house so, yeah (I could get most of these facts incorrect so please tell me the correct facts or add on to the story as it has been a while since I actually went to the actual house, the house is terrifying by the way and activity started as soon as we entered but not much demonic type activity thankfully)

    @@SahilSahoo-sw2hy It's definitely more beneficial for horror films to be grounded in that way unless the director does something more original like Sinister, where they pull a demon from non-Western folklore that not many people in the west are really familiar with. It's just far scarier if a paranormal entity isn't a regular "jobber" if that makes sense and is actually intelligent and cunning like Bughuul was in using film/photographs to hypnotize and abduct kids after Christians destroyed his idols during the Dark Ages to prevent exactly that. Thankfully James Wan is good enough at directing horror films that his antagonists don't need to really be clever or original to be scary, I remember sleeping with the lights on for like a year straight after I watched Insidious for the first time as a kid because of the fiend.

    you forgot that it's a poltergeist

  • @alexrusso6503
    @alexrusso65032 ай бұрын

    A poltergeist and a spirit/demon are 2 different things a poltergeist is as manifestation of someone's negative energy ie a lot stress sadness fighting anger violence in a home can result in the negative energy manifesting into something of its own. The other is an entity that does the same but is not controlled indirectly by any individual(s). If it's a person it could just want you to leave or scare you. If its actually hurting ppl and that strong to move that many things in such an extreme and obvious way then most likely it's demonic. Most ex human spirits don't have the energy to manifest that strongly, knocking over an object making it disappear odd noises etc but knocking down a wall of photos and locking someone in a room isn't human. If you move into a new home and suddenly all this starts happening it's a negative spirit/demon. If you lived there forever and after a period of negativity things start going bump in the dark theres a possibility you all created a poltergeist. And if it's linked to one individual their mood will directly impact it

    Poor Bathesheba wasn't even the female spirit torturing/possessing the mother, because Andrea Perron has done interviews and letting it be known that Lorraine mistakenly blamed Bathesheba(I think she mixed the 2 spirits up) but James Wan and company decided to make Bathesheba the villain of the movie. The real lady didn't sacrifice her baby and died in 1885, age 73.
