Bruh it’s a demon. They love to play tricks and games. Remember that the demon is the one with supernatural powers. The demon is the one that made the rules, the demon is the one killing everyone. So even if you dare it to stop playing the game and it doesn’t, it’s not like it would die for not following the rules it itself made.

Heres where you're wrong, If this was the case and the demon was the one with all the power , they should give up, because the demon could cheat and kill them whenever it wants, PROBLEM, The demon CLEARLY has to obey the rules , there is a God if theres demons, The game in the movie seems to insuinate that the only way the demon can kill is if the humans disobey the rules, otherwise the demon has no power, also the demon must follow these rules otherwise it would just ignore the game and instantly kill all humans, Why these humans, Why only humans that mess with the church, its obviously because there are mysterious rules at play for EVERYONE including the demon@@its_argho

The demon still a player too. So just got to wait for its turn and time it right for a dare. Then dare it to end the game. Olivia could have told everyone on YT what to do and what going on. It be hard to keep track of the list in the millions though. If not impossible. The Demon however would know. So it could prepare to make sure no one finds out or make the line up change so it won't get cought on a dare. Either way a lot of people are going to die or have their lives ruined at Best. Olivia probably going to jail or be hunted down by all the players and their families for basically ruining all their lives. Olivia and her friend might as well have died. Unless they can somehow dispear off the planet. Sure maybe there some other way to stop the Demon. That the Demon itself doesn't know about since it told the truth. But truth is just want someone honesty knows or feels. It not 100% fact. So there still a chance of some magic bs out of this or maybe a loop hole. Like other players giving the dare before the Demon does.

As you can only enter people in game if you are currently at the church while asking them truth or dare. Anyone else who watches the video after Olivia leaves the church should not be affected as it's a recording of her saying at the church not her currently being at the church. In order for more people to enter the game someone else would have to do the same or go to church and bring people along with them. So it not everyone on planet just millions of people. Which is still pretty horrible.

In the long run, she’s changed the entire world by making demons an indisputable part of existence. That means technology booms with regard to detecting and protecting against them. Even with thousands dying to the game, the exposure will ultimately save far more lives from what would otherwise be unbelievable demon hauntings and curses.

When the Demon chose Truth, by default it should have ended with another Truth before it goes back to one of the girls for dare. After which, two more truths for them and a dare for the Demon. Here's the dare. Recite every single decimal of Pi. Demon counts forever, they win.

@@Theendman42 I agree with the sentiments of you and 'OfTheiAim' regarding this situation I am appalled at Olivia's solution as instead of trying to end the game by destroying the church and the three people left alive who are engaged in the game so it could no longer be played she choose an option that could literally lead to the end of all of humanity (think about the access to multitudes of men women and children she has enabled the demon to have i know others could also have done this but she is the one who did).

Uploading the video was stupid. Since the demon wants more than anything to continue the game I would have used that to my advantage. If I die the game ends and he's trapped in that church alone for all eternity. So make him a one time deal if I find him three new players I will be set free from the game and can not be asked to join ever again in return I will find him three new players. If he refuses then I will just sit there and wait to die make sure he understands agreement has a time limit of twenty seconds.

@@tibo6749Now, that wouldn't work. Even the most kind and decent person can decide to take back what they believe is owed to them, to defend themselves, and/or take revenge. Not to get political but just look at the Gaza on both sides for why I say that. I'm not saying any side is completely right here because all the sides have a fair point. I just think Israel does have the right to defend themselves against a group who's literal stated aim is to eliminate them. I'm sure some of those people don't want to be at war but are also saying something like "If I don't defend myself or my family, they may be kidnapped and/or dead...." If you simply dare this demon to be a "kind and decent person", it'll still act in self-defense.

It would be absolute trash tbh💀 soooooo fkin many loopholes in the first movie alone💀 1. What happened to carter? He would've been the next in line after that girl (Penelope?), but he was never seen again which could be bcuz of a deal he made but if that's true everyone could do that and an infinite loop could be created 2. The question whether the demon is a player and if yes why it is the only one able to give out a truth or dare, furthermore if in the end the demon had to play with them you could just say "Go into your original body and recite all decimals of pi" that way no one gets possessed by the demon and he can't make anyone play anymore 3. If the demon is not a player, why is he able to "play" the game with them? This a question unanswered aswell

I think I may have found a loophole. So from what I understand: u die, if u wont do the dare. However I dont think the game specifies when u need to do the dare. So basicly u can be like "ok, I will do the dare after x years" If it works, it may not end the game but it will stall time if u can handle the devil trying to get u to do the dare

I doubt you could just choose to do the dare later, but the idea has merit. Maybe have a friend jump in with a dare, with something like "I dare you to stare directly at the next local full solar eclipse for 10 seconds straight without protection," which would at least buy time (possibly a lot of time) between turns.

If you're a full grown adult, and your drunk ass friends wanted you to play a game middle schooler's play in their parent's basement, what would you do?

If I'm correct if everyone dies the demon/entity would be trapped in the church alone. Which is what he definitely doesn't want. Anyone could have used this as an advantage to get out of the game. Make a deal with the demon. If you let me completely out of the game. I will deliver other players to the game. Make sure it's a one time deal. Side note, add that you can never be asked to join the game ever again after you leave that way you cant be tricked into playing.

You were blaming olivia for such a long time, but to be fair: normal people don't expect a demonic deat game to be something to worry about

2 Truths, 1 Dare huh? Dare: "I Dare you to allow me to pick Truth."

Your suggestion to tell the demon to end the game is probably the best one, but I don't think truth and dare has an accepted ending. People usually just rage quit in my experience. So technically saying I'm not playing anymore and running to sob in a corner is probably already the way out of it! XD but you would probably have a better result by daring the Demon to kill god or Satan and see it stupidicide itself.

I watched the movie a while ago and now im really happy to finally see it on this channel. I am literally so invested in these videos i watch one every evening when i have time. Also its really fun because i know that there is no way i would ever escape

This movie always bugged me, because it seemed like you could survive if you isolated the next person in the turn order and remove any stimuli, completely cover their skin, etc until you can grab the initial player and undo the curse. If you do have to pick... pick truth, it only gets you tell the truth around the person(s) it will impact the most. So pick truth and hole up somewhere. Worth a shot at least. That or override the dare to change the rules.

Rules are the 2 truths that is used up means a person has to attempt a dare. So what makes this game a lot harder is there are no infinite usage of truth. 2 truth and 1 dare are the rules of the game.

@@hp2546 true. though her idea adds too many variables. Basically at that point they effectively set the demon free. It could easily dare other participants to come after you if you get close to solving it.

I don't get why Lucas didn't choose truth when Carter asked him. He said he did it so that the girls didn't have to but it wouldn't have mattered anymore if one of the other players had to choose dare because they wouldn't have been asked anymore after the ritual was finished.

Lucas' move was actually genius though. Order was Markie, Sam, Olivia after him. While we weren't told what Sam picked after Brad died - I'm going to assume it was truth. We know Olivia picked dare. If Lucas had picked truth and Markie picked truth, Sam would have been stuck with dare and FOR SURE, Calux would have made him kill himself somehow doing some dangerous dare. They WASTED Lucas' sacrifice because the girls should have rushed the game forward to stall time for Sam to finish the ritual. Markie could have picked truth and said something super long winded like what the others have been doing with their truths all through the movie and Sam could have done the same -- while finishing the ritual. Sam only got killed because they were too busy trying to stop Lucas-possessed-by-Calux from killing himself - when honestly they should have just shot Lucas themselves and forced Calux to continue the game so he couldn't kill Sam.

lucas should have chosen truth since they had two truths left, as well as the other girl, doing that would have bought sam enough time to finish the ritual and end the game. maybe im wrong but think they should have expected the demon to try and sabotage their attempt to end the game which is why choosing dare would be a big mistake. the demon could have easily dared lucas to kill same as well

If you don't specify, you are still giving a demon what it wants which means you lost. The demon can make the game more harder for you to survive. Changing the rules can also mean begging the demon to make the game even more deadlier. That mind as well be the same as getting millions of people to play the curse game. I mean look at the ending. Olivia convinced millions of people to play which means Olivia may already die peacefully at age 100 before her turn is even up.

this is why you don't force your friends to go on trips with you, what a party pooper oliva was.

Even if the demon gets smart and starts lawyering up the truth, i.e "Say X truth.. loud and proud, so that X person can hear." Truth is still the very safe option compared to dare. If you have secrets which can lead to your death or incarceration that is on you. Public disgust is whatever compared to death, same with losing friends. Dare on the other hand would be 100% of the time, dangerous.

If truth is picked, you have to ask a question, not a command, for example if someone picks truth you can respond with "What is your darkest secret?" but not "Yell out your darkest secret so that everyone can hear"

The ending of spreading the game as far as possible is actually kinda a good idea. I mean, not for humanity's sake, and it's great for the demon, but if you spread it far enough it'll become increasingly unlikely you'll ever get a turn again, especially if those brought in to play spread it exponentially. Imagine all 8 billion Earthlings in the game, the vast majority of people would die before their turn. That's not even counting the fact there's only a 1 in 3 chance you are forced to take a dare when that turn DOES come. Sure, you're gonna have daily Satanic murder-suicides but it's a big world. It's miles better than Sam's choice to involve a few random people at least. Though the selfless thing to do would probably be to die when the only 2 players left are in the room together, a quick murder suicide and the demon is toast since it's implied Sam only resurrected it by opening the jar the nun's tongue was sealed in, there's no more jar to open. Just gotta hope no other bored nuns summon a demon in the future, problem solved.

​@arfkive well for @astro. 's defense Oliva was able to ask the demon a truth so they could ask the demon to do that But in your defense her friend would be stuck in that loop for ever which is what they don't want to do is sacrifice one of them to "escape the game"

Her choice ot involve the world was the most selfish thing I had ever seen. Literally could save the world by sacrificing yourself, or at the very least convey to the world that the demon could be forced in as a player so they had a better shot.

@@sexy_seal Oh my comment was too short. I left another on this video and I don't hate the ending and I was just saying why some people would hate it. The Cabin in the Woods (spoiler alert) ending can be justified by the fridge brilliance that the Ancient Ones are we audience, the ritual is the ways for a horror film to "play safe", refusing the ritual means they refuse to do so and the end of the world "only" means we hate the ending so it's on a metaphorical level and less serious while here some people don't think it's ok to doom the world to save yourself from the misfortune and believe you should just accept it since it only dooms more people because of this and some things the two are such awful people even before the ending and want them to die as redemption (or not). The way the movie ends it's interesting tbh since Liv said she would choose millions of people's lives over her & her friends lives in a hypothetical question earlier in the film but do the exact opposite yet more human way in the end. (I believe the human's instinct isn't good or bad, it's survival. One can do bad things to survive under really harsh situation but can't enjoy it unless one is a sociopath while one needs to be REALLY selfless to sacrifice oneself for others and it's not easy especially when the "others" here are not love ones but only random strangers

What happens if you say a partial truth because it’s a truth by definition would it still count? So like for example: *John likes butterflies but doesn’t want to share it but only to me. *Afterwards they say truth or dare? *I say truth *they say: what does John like? *I say: “John likes insects” (in a quiet tone) or “John likes nature”

It does not count. The truth needs to be sticking to the topic. You don't get to choose a topic. Whatever the demon wants, you have to follow through otherwise it counts as failing the challenge.

Now to described what happened to Giselle, I am sure she did survive the 2 truths to a point where the demon no longer lets her choose the truth. This game have restrictions. So far, she was forced to burn someone at a gas station, forced to walk on top of the roof drinking alcohol and force to shoot Olivia. It is true that any participants may get away and survive the truth. That is why you see many participants wanting to choose truth but the problem is the demon have restriction on when the participants used it up. Truth may be partial but not the dare. Just like when a participant was dared to take a risk by standing on the pool table, he did it but partially which did not count as completing the challenge. In a dare, if a dare is partial, the demon will possess that participant and force that participant to commit suicide.

I really want to see a "How To Beat" for the movie "Vivarium". Its such a bad/stupid movie that I need to hear you break it down haha

Here's what I would do. Write the words "Truth or dare?" on your shirt and walk on a busy street for everyone to see it. When someone reads your shirt, they will be forced entered into the game.

But then that shirt will also be used against you as well. This effect participants only. Those who did not go to that specific deserted church and had no associations to the demons are not going to get forced into a game. That shirt that say truth or dare would only attract participants only including yourself. Now if you were never forced into that truth or dare game and you wear that shirt, then the participants who sees your shirt will be forced into playing because they were cursed by that demon. Those that are not curse can look at your shirt and nothing will happen to them. So those that watched that youtube channel on truth or dare can get roped in. Just remember that shirt that say truth or dare only works on participants only. Other than that, those that never got forced into that game will be immune to the effect on that shirt. So if you were already forced into a truth or dare game, that shirt will effect all participants including yourself which means that shirt can also kill you as well once it is your turn. Remember, that t shirt will only work if it is a participant's turn.

Olivia in particular: - Doomed all her friends w/ her selfish demand to follow Carter - Ended her best friend's dad's life - Knowingly kept her best friend's cheating a secret from the BF, who was also her friend - Doomed all of humanity to save herself at the end Genuinely hard to think of a more h@+e-able horror protagonist.

But in this horror film, you only get to tell the truth 2 times only. Once you used that the 2 truth, you are forced to do the dare on your next turn. So there is no such thing as having infinite truth.

Also an experts favourite kine to say about trusting people is "a liar may tell the truth and you wont listen but a truthful person may tell a lie and you will listen no matter what

No, because the demon had to tell the truth, then if you tell the truth (of its choosing) again, that means on the next turn it has to do as you say, and you can force it to end the game there. Of course I wouldn't dare it to kill me

oh hey this was filmed in my school, i recognize the library and area outside of it. glad i never accepted any offers to play truth or dare, people were giving me lots of odd smiles

These games are never harmless. And that’s what most people don’t realize. One thing that was annoying is how they kept on separating each other. But it’s all part of the demons ploy to separate them. More than that I saw this movie called smile. I’m not sure why but I get the feeling the same demon for this movie is the same one in that one.
