Will this really? “Higher ur energy?” -> it will only help you drain ur energy and hate interactions after social situations.
I just watched your video with Jennifer, the daily connoisseur and I had to find you. I loved your video and you have such a beautiful way about you. You are super likeable and have such a great energy. Thank you so much! 😍
Hi Myka, I love your channel! Please consider doing a video on dealing with touchy-feely people in a polite way while delineating one’s personal boundaries. (At work, I’m trying to avoid certain clients….who keep putting their hands on my lower back and planting wet kisses on my cheek when I say hello to them!!!🤢) It’s not only creepy/disrespectful but I think it’s the reason I keep getting sick. Whatever happened to the good ol’ days of curtsying (for ladies) and bowing (for gentlemen)?! Much obliged, V.
These tips are so valuable and I can’t wait to get back out so I can use them! I look so forward to your videos every week ❤️
THIS is gold! This is what I see in you and what I wanted to achieve too!! But I couldn't understand how.. You are radiant, positive, you are all things you said and I love your charisma! I will work on it! I'm so happy and exited now! ! Thanx Myka!😘
So many great tips that get me ready for my next social event. Thank you so much!
These tips are SO helpful! Thank you! Love your videos!
I just bought your book. I am so excited to read about more tips!
I love your channel because, I can see your personality and elegance at the same time, which sometimes in elegance it's hard to be yourself and be elegant at the same time, you just showed us that we can be both.

Myka, I had a snarly remark from a FB person which was uncalled for. I told him, "There is a book called Etiquette Made Easy' , you might benefit from reading this book. Have a wonderful day.!!!!!!!

You can rock a red lip Myka! Could you please do a video on meeting someone who is admired/accomplished in their field, and how to ask questions or express appreciation for their work without coming across trite or opportunistic?
Lady Myka, if I had curls I would be showing them off! I love your tips here, practical and excellent advice.

Nice song at the start of your video:))
I have the challenge often of being friendly at a party and then having men think I’m interested in them or follow me around a lot and get the wrong idea. How do I be friendly and polite and not give mixed signals? I don’t have women in my close circle who are good at this and I could use some help with phrases or body language options.

Excellent question. I finally had to break a bad habit of being too smiley or friendly to strangers. Guys can get the wrong idea.
That’s so funny that you should say that about energy when entering a party. I always have people approach me and I guess that’s why because I have energy and am upbeat and laughing. I was a hairdresser for 30 years so I can talk to anybody. I love these tips. Sometimes people forget certain things and they get stale. New York is a very social place. I’ve never been there but if I ever go I’m staying at the plaza.
An instant energy boosting tip : massage your both ears quite strongly with your hands up and down and into each little cranny; do'nt tear them off but do it quite energetically until they're hot and red. This is recommended by many osteopath or energetician practitioners. It works ! Just beware not to tear your earrings out !
I'll keep watching this one
Thank you so much for the tips ,pls can you use loud speaker so I can hear you very well.
Thank you for the informative video. But I always try to show interest and ask questions and the more I do that the more they show no interest in me and act like I'm some sort of weirdo.. That's why I don't do that anymore with everyone. Only with open minded
Question: I'm an introvert. Do you have any advice on how to do this authentically?

INFJ here. I think since I'm nervous about talking so I will hog a whole conversation due to anxiety- I'm just going to listen to people, I mean they are interesting. Once as a teen at a party everyone was laughing because the dad was just gabbing his life story to me-PLUS people remember you and like you when you listen-that's my game plan

What are your in your back pocket 3 questions to ask??
Too be honest I was always very likebable but being likebable also means that people might be very jealous about you. I remember in school that I was very likebable by guys and still I have good contact with men and unfortunately other girls were jealous and they were mean to me. Thankfully it's past and in school I met a girl who is now the love of my life so it wasn't all bad but likebable people unfortunately need to deal with jealous people sometimes.
Hey there! Are you german? Or have german roots?
How do you do this with men so they don't think you're romantically interested & start pursuing you?

Tell them you're looking for serious commitment and talk about your cats. That's a tough one. It's not possible. Same as it's not possible to compliment a woman on how she looks. You look blah blah this idiot must think he's got any chance with me. What a loser. I told a random woman as I passed the other way that I liked her coat colour. She said thank you. I didn't want anything else - it can happen. I wasn't interested. I just liked the coat. There's a lot of books out there that relate to your question - it's a big one trying to explain all of these social relationship behaviour dynamics. For me it's usually fairly obvious if a woman is interested or not. But then I love all of this human behaviour nonsense.

Good question! I often get to hear Iam flirting. But I feel I talk the same regardless of gender. Come to think of it gay women have also thought Iam flirting...
I tried these and they seem to work well but when I went over to the bar some people asked me, "aren't you the guy that was doing jumping jacks in one of the men's room stalls?" -- so I just sat in the corner and pretended to text the rest of the evening.
To whoever is reading this know that you are loved. You are important and God has a purpose for your life. So many people lost their lives to COVID but God spared us. It’s time to change how we show up in the world. Walk in your calling! How many signs do you need? You are Chosen!
Great tips👍 However I think that shaking hands will change after 🦠 pandemic. 🦋 Gracias 🇨🇺 🍮 ☕️ 🐞 🧿
Your Intro is way louder then the actually video… for someone who wears headphones it’s extremely painful. I usually stream videos in the background while working.. Jait a FYI

Same here. Iam already thinking about how Iam going to give myself selfcare after the next outing.
I like your tips. Honestly, it would be hard for me to approach you because you sound quite...well.. like my 1st grade teacher. I'd be worried that you'd yell at me. 😅
Nice surrounding… sorry
Coud you Speak a littel faster please?
