Can you put a different lens on these cameras to allow you to achieve a blurry background while filming close up tutorial type videos? Great video btw, straight and to the point. Love it!

Hi, it will not work on it, this one is made for newer models.

Is the adapter ring supposed to be loose with a bit of play ? Mine is. I don't know the brand but it says 'For Canon SX50 58mm'. And how do you get the adapter ring off ? Thanks.

Hi, there are some third-party adapters for it, so you can use standard attachments on the G5X. The difference is mostly just the design.

Hello. I have a Canon Powershot SX530 HS and a RN-DC67A filter adapter. It says it works for my camera on the box. I followed your instructions and lined up the notches. It seems to fit on (push down), but it cannot be rotated to click it in place. It is not secure. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for your help.

Well, thanks for video, but i have accidentaly bought (i think) adapter for sx40hs/sx50hs. I bought it on eBay very cheap, the problem is that it looks a little bit different, and i do not want to destroy sx60hs - it is not mine. Will be grafteful for any help

It can work, although we would recommend a DSLR with a macro lens for dental photography.
