I liked that you mentioned the 'subjective' part of the job. New media buyers often stick too closely to guides and act like robots. They should remember to look at the big picture, think deeply, and not be afraid to use what they've learned and share their own ideas.

I'm actually astounded that your content hasn't blown up! You're going over all of the important information for those looking to grow in marketing and understand the why's and how's of a lot of strategy all while offering examples from your personal experience with advertising. I'm personally looking to start offering Facebook ads as a service and your content has been huge in educating me on a lot of areas that I was initially unclear on from watching the big 500k views video tutorials. Of course, I'm still a work in progress, but I love your videos and the value you provide in your content!

Sooo good Dara! I've already watched this video like 3-4 times. It can be so easy to just hide behind the numbers to get through a client call. I implemented more storytelling on a call yesterday, and have already recieved kudos from the client about the level of detail.

This is what my ad agency failed to do. Some ads were working but I didn't know why and I didn't know how to tweak the creatives or remake then so they'd perform better. It was random flailing around. I let them go and am just learning how to do it all myself. 🙃

Love the video, correlating customer behavior with sales data can uncover hidden pain points and opportunities. It's not just about collecting data but interpreting it to make strategic decisions that align with your business goals.

hey Dara so many people on reddit are complaining about the meta 'outage'. is it discussed that meta is updating the algorithm and most of the advertisers are observing extremely worse tractions. is there any reality behind these claims?

  • @DaraDenney

    @DaraDenney

    4 ай бұрын

The thing is that Meta will never admit to something like this, so it's pretty much all speculation. However, it's undeniable: results have been down for many brands and there have been a number of unusual bugs in the system. Some people might consider that reality, but again, no one should expect Meta to come out and admit this.

Thank you, Dara. This was great. Based on your experience, what's the average CPM? CTR? Hook Rate? Hold Rate? In the US. (Maybe you can do a short video on this one and talk about different countries and type of creatives, because you were talking about comparing it to the average in this video but it's hard to do the comparison without knowing the average.)

Thanks for this. Always helpful! I have a similar issue you've mentioned, where Meta's pushing all impressions to an age group with a high cost per sale. Trying to work my creative to see if that helps, vs cutting them out entirely. I assume that's the right approach...

Thanks for the insights. at 1:52 when you mentioned scaling down, what do you mean exactly to scale down an ad in a specific ad set? is it by lowering the budget? if so, then how can you control the daily/lifetime budget for a specific ad that you want to scale down

Hi Dara! I have observed you never talked about the impact/relevance of ad copy on campaigns' performance. I'll like to know your take on it.. do you see it affect performance as much as the ad creatives? Lest I forget, another amazing content here!! Thank you.

Thank you Dara🙌🏼 you mentioned in a previous video that broad is better for targeting, but if the product is for women in the beauty space do you target it only for women when working with these beauty brands?

Thank you for sharing and creating this valuable information for us. I am a full-time digital marketing executive in an advertising agency. I completely agree that the amount of exposure I get every day is invaluable. Working with different clients in different industries and with different requirements allows me to learn something new every day, which is something I love about my job. Although I know all the theory behind Google Ads, I haven't had any hands-on experience with it yet. Can you please recommend some good KZread channels where I can learn Google Ads from beginner to advanced level? I would also like your advice on whether I should pursue a CDMP certification from a digital marketing institute based in Ireland. Thank you for your help. I look forward to hearing back from you. Peace ☮️

Hey, I have a question. Is there a rule of when to use videos compared to pictures when running ads? Or should we just launch both and see what the winners are.

I have a question :) do I run ads for one product at a time. Or should I run ad campaigns for other of my products as well?

  • @DaraDenney

I would start off only running ads for your top performer or what is most profitable. Then you can begin to test products after you get a few winners.

Hi Dara! Do you test creatives using DCT-s like Nick Theriot recommends, or do you have your own method that doesn’t involve DCT-s? Not sure why exactly but Ive never seen great performance using DCTs.

the background music was just a distraction making it harder to focus attention at several points, about 2:00 I was hunting through my other tabs and browser windows trying to find what was causing the interruption, only to return and pause the video to find out it was embedded. Also got bad around 6:30 and 8:00 especially.. this may not be as obvious to people watching on a phone or laptop speakers I guess.. good info, and graphics, I'd just not add the music, it took away rather than added to the message imho.
