Thanks to you, Dara! The brand I launched in December 2023 is now selling $200K a month! I've watched all your videos, especially the ones on creative, and they've worked wonders for us. Initially, I was using your old structure, but as soon as you uploaded your video on ASC, I gave it a try. It performed exceptionally well and shifted all my budget there. Watching this video now, it all makes sense. My only tweak is that I have two ASC Campaigns each for a product family because otherwise, inventory management becomes impossible. Keep up the good content!

May i ask you, how do you deal with running differents brands on the same account ? 2 campagne per brand ? or it's not a good practice to have 2 brands (separate pixels) on same BM ? Once again, thank for what you share, it helps me a lot ! @@DaraDenney

Another fantastic video!! If our scaling campaign isn’t doing the best these days after starting an ASC campaign would you suggest to stop the scaling campaign and just go full asc with the creative test campaign and funnel the whole budget into the asc from the scaling campaign or would you suggest slowly lowering the budget on our other campaign and funneling the amount reduced into the ASC? If the CPM and demographics are similar, i keep them together. If i have a country with with double CPM, I usualy live it separate to not skew the metrics too much.

Question: Hi Dara, love the video and concepts behind your structure - thanks! However, how do you avoid audience overlap when scaling horizontally, on a given creative (both within your ASC+ but also in your creative testing campaign)? Context: I run ads for a women's swimwear brand, and we solely run ads through a broad campaign. We tried ASC+ last year, but there was a lot of spend going to men, who wrongfully were thursttrapped by our bikini creative. Didn't drive enough sales, so we ended up ditching the ASC+. Might start again this month, to get it working with the setup you propose. Thanks!
Very interesting, thanks! I know that today retargeting campaigns are only useful in a few cases, but I have a question for you about the retargeting campaign structure you sometimes use. Why do you choose to separate social engagers vs website visitors into two ad sets instead of combining the two audiences into a single ad set?

When we have special dates or promotions (e.g., sales, discounts on specific categories, discounts on specific days for the brand, etc.), how do you manage those creatives? Do you add them to the existing ASC campaign and pause the ones you have running? Do you add them to compete with the top performers without promotions? Or do you create a new campaign for those creatives while still running the existing aon ASC campaign? Looking forward to hearing your answer

Thanks for this Dara. I would love to know more about the prospecting campaign. Is the prospecting campaign a CBO campaign? How many adsets? Once you find a winner creative, then you just duplicate the ad in that one adset?
Great video Dara. Can I ask two questions? If you have all the tests in one "Testing" campaign and you are introducing new Ad sets with new tests are you disrupting the campaign and therefore impacting other tests? I have noticed on my account that the same Ad set with the same creatives deliver different results if I run it in two different campaigns. This has happened multiple times, so my question is how do I know that this creative works if it can be delivering great results in campaign A and two week later when relaunched it delivers poor results?
@Dara 3 quick questions: 1) Are you using DCO in your creative testing campaign? 2) What's the structure of your ASC campaign - all ads in a single ad set? 3) How do you move winning tests into your ASC - create a new ad with same creative/copy? Or use the winning post id?

1. No 2. Yes 3. Post ID when possible, but with ASCs it's not, so make the ad anew.

thank you for putting this free content on youtube. Question about ASCs acting as retargeting campaigns. How do you go about showing different ads / different messaging for people who're at the top vs. bottom of the funnel? For example, you have 1 cold campaign leading people to a product page, and another retargeting campaign to people who've visited that page but didn't purchase. The ads for the cold campaign may be "feature call out" , "us vs. them", etc. but the ads for retargeting may be about shipping / warranty / return concerns. Is this a valid concern or am I thinking about this the wrong way?

Quick question… do you have data from ASC campaigns for info products? Is it worth trying them on info products tailored to let’s say only women? Amazing content Dara! I've been running 1-campaign only, CBO with main adset and 3 2 2 DCTs to test ad but I'd like to try this structure instead, as often Facebook don't spend on new DCTs so it's hard to analyze why the failed or what is the problem. Also does ASC work with multiple countries in the same campaign aswell?
Why my campaign is learning limited ? Although I added enough budget. Anyway to improve it? Thanks

Great video. Quick question. You said you’d prefer to keep creative testing separate. But even if they were all in and ASC, you can still see which ads are performing better right? Which would also give you the data on what would work or not

Thanks all the tips Dara! For a company that is limited geographically (can ship only to specific regions or state), we can’t use ASC+. Would you still suggest to have 2 campaigns: one classic broad (maybe Campaign lvl budget) and one testing with adset lvl budget? Would you suggest to have multiple campaigns per country ?

Hi Dara, I would be grateful if you could answer this question! For an apparel brand, I'd like to create 2/3 DPA catalogue campaigns (Advantage +) focussed on certain product sets we want to promote (based on performance, new collections etc.) Do I run a single creative in each campaign? I want to stick to catalogue ads, but how can I run multiple creatives like this? We've always used carousels for DPAs in the past and that's the extent of our exposure.
Won't spend get divided from the validated top performer ad if you add more than 1 ad let alone multiple ads in ASC campaign?

It's honestly the same core structure, but you may have different campaigns depending on your lead magnet strategy, if it is more a of longer sales cycle.

I would like to know if, after testing and choosing a winning creative and put it on scale campaign (ASC), is it normal not having too many sales first day, second day, third day.. and so on.. I have to believe after some days (how many so so?) will it get better? Thank you so much. (Im worried because first day after scaling winning creative I got only one purchase!) Imagine a high CPA? Would this work for local businesses (say a plumber with a budget of $1,500 a month) or would this campaign structure really only be relevant for e-commerce / national or global brands?
Right now my Advantage+ Shopping campaign has a Shopify catalog, and then 4 other ads (mix of carousel and video). Would you recommend keeping them all in the same campaign like that, or should I separate out the Shopify Catalog or even separate them out by Product type and have 2-3 Advantage+ Shopping campaigns running? Right now, it's favoring 1 of the ads the most and the others are barely getting spend, but the CPA is still good for all of them so wondering if I separate them if they will all get a even share of ad spend

Generally I have seen making separate campaigns for catalog ads and BUA ads to be the best

Let's try! Just two questions. How you copy - paste ads from testing to ad+ campaign? Because copy - paste available only for the same type of campaign structure. Or you are using import function? As I understand, ADS+ can have just one ad set, so how many ads you are running in ADS+? Thanks!
