Sean got clowned on too much for the "mentally undefeated" thing. The point flew over a LOT of peoples heads. He knows he has a literal defeat, he knows it. You covered the O'malley family better than anyone has. A lot of people underestimate O'Malley but I feel like his striking skills, fight I.Q., movement, feints, switch stances, break timing, strike diversity, is some of the best there is. He proved his striking output cardio endurance in that record setting output against Green haired Kris Mutino. He can strike around high guards. He understands how to put velocity/power on his shots. Even when moving backwards and he has a great approach to how he abstractly flows with how a fight unfolds. He's shown he can make really good reads in the moment. There is so many great bantamweight fights to make. I can't wait to watch and enjoy all these battle's of insane talent that this division has. It's going to be awesome. O'malley vs Cory/Henry/Aljo 2/Petr Yan 2/Rob Font, etc. O'malley said he doesn't want to waste his prime years. He wants to be active *We will have a ton of great bantamweight fights but a lot of fighters just got injured, so the Chito rematch makes sense right now. Regardless I'm excited for whatever unfolds.

I’m hoping he doesn’t go to box for a while and he has a good reign. It’ll be a tough road for sure, but his mentality seems incredibly strong. People seem to not like him cuz he’s goofy, but goofy is way better than the various assholes in this sport imo. Plus, he’s got arguably the most entertaining style of any current champion.

@@thekevinfoster i agree with you 100% *it's beyond refreshing in the UFC because so many people are just copy paste "tough guys" it's interesting to see someone who dork's around, yet still has good work ethic/focus & drive & then surprises people that they can also kick ass, even tho they dork around. The UFC has needed vibes like that for a while. *I don't think he will box until the end of his MMA run. There is so much high level talent in & around his division that he has plenty of great things to focus on to forge a great career. Regardless of what happens, win or lose, it's always entertaining to watch him compete in MMA. I'm just hyped to see things unfold. O'malley's only 28. It's impressive especially since he jumped into MMA so quickly & easily is one of the best dynamic multi-stance fighters. Along with very effective feints & movement. It's really awesome to see this type of fighting style in my opinion.
