Jake has been my favorite actor for many years, and he keeps getting better. I'd love to see him perform on stage someday.

Brokeback Mountain is still his most seminal movie. He and Heath Ledger were iconic, and their love for each other was torturous, tragic and real. I think it was the first time audiences had ever seen true gay love between real men. It was a heartbreaking movie, and when Ledger died, I was worried about Jake. One could tell they had a special relationship. Hardly anyone on this planet has led such a privileged life, but he works hard and donates to many noble charities. In short, Jake Gyllenhaal is one of the 21st century's most iconic and important actors.

The media is obsessed with turning Jake into a mega-straight guy. Every single woman who gets close to him is indicated to be his girlfriend. He is under pressure to get more and more women. That's why there are so many closeted guys in Hollywood. He loves his dogs more than any woman for sure.
