It's been over a decade since he was with Taylor and the other girls, but she can't let it go and neither can you all. Shaming one person for his whole life because of a bad breakup is overboard. Just because you are a master at your craft doesn't mean you are an expert in relationships. The fact that she did this knowing that all this hate would be brought forward in a generation known for its cancel culture, shows she hasn't grown much since she wrote the song in the first place. People hurt people and not letting it go after their has been time to heal hurts everyone again. I don't know Jake Gyllenhaal and I'm not a fan of his stuff, but I won't be blinded by Taylor's music and forget she is a human. She has flaws just like he does, but he isn't selling those flaws to thousands a decade after the events. I've loved her music and I'm excited to see if she grows more and learns from the past instead of holding onto it.

@Ivan Renard he was her first and he targeted an innocent, young woman who totally fell in love with him and casually left her traumatized for life, its worse than r.a.p.e...ofcourse she had problems with every guy afterwards because of the severity of the trauma he left her with. Women are not prey and people that love genuinely should be respected...many hoes around that take things casually and dont care so he didnt need to target her and assult her emotionally and phisically to the point she was shattered...if he admited and adressed it privately she wouldnt need to have to acknowlege it so publically...she is talking about the pain that is obviously still lingering inside of her ten years later, nothing casual about it...but people that cant relate dont really know what love is singing to deaf is pointless i agree and she is not singing it to you but others who actually care, get hurt and can relate so you can go listen to something more vane and shallow instead

I am a woman and a genuine person and trust me when i tell you that a woman can be hurt very badly by a man and you need maturity to actually aknowledge that.
