How I flipped this $1000 car for even MORE money! - RSX Driveway Paintjob
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Whats up yall! Kevin here with an episode of flipping cheap facebook market cars! Follow me in the journey of repairing and transforming this beat up looking Acura RSX that I snagged for only $1000 bucks!!
This was honestly a rare deal I came across but you can usually find one of these every so often on fb market. These types of listings do exist! With some time and money invested I was able to double my profit and got some practice in with painting as well! If you have the tools, space and time to do this I def recommend trying this out! Flipping a car in your own driveway with no booth! How much more DIY can ya get hahaha!
If you guys want to follow the build of the guy that bought the car, hes over on TikTok as well! He's done a lot more with it and it looks & runs even better than before! Check him out by searching @lao.guy or as "Arashi" on TT!

I fixed most of the codes and engine issues... The reason why it would not go over 3k was because the connector that went into the vtec solenoid kept popping out. Just gotta replace the intake manifold and the car is solid.

the 02 sensor codes came back on but its because the power steering rack was leaking into the connector.

Bro saved an rsx, ima keep saying this, i love ur videos man, keep up the work‼️‼️
I truly love watching videos like this one and believe it could evolve into a great series, similar to the format of 'Buddy's DIY' channel. One suggestion I have is to delve deeper into explaining the process of fixing or diagnosing problems. Many videos assume viewers already possess a certain level of knowledge, but I find it incredibly helpful when every step is thoroughly explained. As someone who isn't as mechanically inclined as I'd like to be, I appreciate the opportunity to learn as much as possible from someone more knowledgeable. Regardless, fantastic video! Keep up the great work!!! :)

i've been out of the car scene for a hot minute. I finally my own business and for the first time in my life at 36 years of age, I'm not worried about bills or where my next paycheck is coming from. Having said that, I'm looking at a project car now that i have extra money laying around. I'VE ALWAYS Wanted a DC5 Honda Integra/Acura RSX. Love this build and i will be following this. Super excited for you and thank you for showing how to paint a car your self.

@@tsunamisurfer7325I’m in Medical Sales and have been starting to get everything together to start my own Med Sales business. I’ve done it on the side prior, and stopped, due to several things outside of my control. Unfortunately our son passed away. Now that my head is right I’m going after it. Love to read your comment knowing your young. It’s the only way to get ahead, and I make $250k a year. I’ll make triple soon.

I appreciate the work you put into improving this car, and more importantly, your honesty. So many people are quick to judge and tell you a million things you did wrong but like you said, you're learning and that's what its all about! Eventually you'll have a system that will allow you to make the transformations even better and faster. Good work bro.

@ 6:12 you get a close-up of the harmonic balancer aka crank pulley. It looks broken or else an optical illusion because of grease and/or oil. If it's chipped then it won't have even dampening and this will lead to premature failure of main bearings and likely cause premature leaks for your front and rear main seals. It may be worth looking into @BeforeTheStorm

That came out amazing!! Inspirational.
One of the better channels I’ve seen bro! Big fan! Loving the videos!
Great video. I really didn't plan on watching the whole thing but you put it together so well, I couldn't stop watching! Again great job!
this video was actually really helpful for me and my rsx i just got. lots of good tips to look back on
The headlights have been mentioned multiple times, already. Maybe a Harbor Freight carport canopy may be an item to consider to cover your other workplace (if wind isn't a significant impairment)? Kudos to your grind.
Thanks bro you motivated me to do the same thing to flip cars . I work in construction industry and is making me older due to physical and heavy work. I could definitely look my self doing this
Sugoi. Restoring the headlights is quick and inexpensive as well and can really help make a old car look new.

You have so much potential there. Some great paint jobs have come out of home garages. You can always lay down plastic around your carport on the next one for sure. I was surprised you went with a different color.
Part of me is afraid of re-painting my honda civic 10th gen, I live in hawaii and the weather here is usually hot/muggy. But seeing how you did it with the weather against you gave me some encouragement. Good job!

You did a dam good job there for a first timer. Learning by doing, and paint is one of those things - we have to do it to learn it. Suggest rust inhibitor coating the edges of the raw cut sheet metal where the hood locks were installed. LOL we all been there with the wheelbarrow dumping our stuff in the junkyard. Stay gold.
