Wait why didnt you use bed risers? And then do some sort of makeshift bed skirt to cover everything. It gives a ton of room under the bed and added height

We actually got bed risers but didn’t realize there were additional support beams underneath and we ended up not having enough risers to raise the frame 😂 - Meghal

that's what i did. i had a full with a big headboard that took up most of the space in my room. now i have a twin xl and space to walk around

Whaaaat my room is like 1/4 of her rooms size. I have room for a desk and my bed that's it.

Just curious....Does she share an apartment with others? No bathroom space or storage? Also, I think another great tip would be to utilize wall space....wall shelves, wall mounted coat hooks, command strips hooks, etc.

iheartigloos she does have roommates! The bathroom is pretty tiny so she has to keep her stuff in her room. She didn’t want hooks or anything and wanted to keep her walls as is clean and simple. -Meghal

Well done!! I love how you moved the bed so now you can access your window easily and also the nook at the end of the bed. Your space is much more peaceful now. You may want to consider a bed skirt for the end of your bed just to cover up what's under so your eye won't go directly towards it. :) Love the space now and it's so much bigger than it looked at the beginning. :)

I wanted them to move the drawer into that hole in the wall. I think it would’ve been perfect there. Or at least use that wall to put shelves. The bed would then have to be over where the drawer was too. Like a whole switch.

This is one of my favorite videos. I went out and bought bins to organize under my families beds because we don't have closets. Game changer!

It's well organised but still a pain to clean. Open storage, storage bags and fabric items get soo dusty!

YAS to that suitcase storage life.

My daughter will be off to college and dorm living this Fall. With very minimal space I think this is a great video to get ideas on how to get organized in a small space. Would love it if you guys did a video like this specifically for college dorm living.

Sometimes people are overwhelmed or don't have the knowledge to make better choices in life. This applies to our home space as well. It goes much deeper than our parents never telling us to clean. Understanding goes a long way and is more helpful than criticising their upbringing. 👩‍👩‍👦👨‍👩‍👧‍👧👨‍👨‍👧

I was told. I have ADHD, and OCD. I’m also disabled. Right now, my OCD makes me feel like something terrible will happen if I change anything. And ADHD, it’s kind of like a failed perfectionist, if I can’t be perfect why bother. But I’m in too much pain now, to clean. I’ve lost the ability to bend down, so to pick things up, I have to use a little alligator arm. I don’t have energy either. My bedroom is bad and I’m deeply sad. I desperately need help cleaning it

I would get a loft bed, like the one at IKEA so there is space for everything else :/

The ceilings definitely aren't tall enough for a loft bed. My mom and I looked into one when we moved and had 7 ft. ceilings - they said 8 ft. is doable, but 10+ ft ceilings are preferred by most people so they don't feel like the roof is closing in on them.

Great Job!!! It is very doable and I feel inspired!

The floor was still mega dirty when they were putting the organized stuff back under the bed.

This was such a creative storage solution for the space without buying incredibly complicated storage furniture pieces. I'll definitely be using some of the boxes to organize my own space.

I'm in awe of the organizer's talent because I had no idea how anyone would be able to work with that size and shape of room, but she did it. It also motivates me to reorganize my own bedroom because I have a lot that needs to go to the charity shop. I love videos like this

I had the same issue and just got a lofted bed. I turned the space under the bed into a walk in closet solution (I’m only 5’0). Way more efficient and not as prone to clutter.
