How fast can you break a pot in every Zelda game?
Ойындар
One of the core elements of Zelda is breaking into people's homes and smashing their personal belongings, so let's see how fast we can do it.

It’s funny that the first two Zelda games don’t have pots in them, considering they were documented as prequels to A Link to the Past by Miyamoto. That would mean that the Link from A Link to the Past broke every single pot in Hyrule, before the timeline got updated with more games.

I like how little middle-ground there is between 'easy, 30 seconds tops' and 'half an hour, minimum'.
Could easily save 10+ seconds in ocarina of time by just going back inside Link's house after talking to Saria! Link has his own pot that just doesn't spawn during the intro I guess, probably to hide it from you.

After the intro in Link's house is the only time in normal gameplay that you're left in control on an alternate scene setup (which are normally reserved for minigames and cutscenes). You can tell it's happening also because your C buttons aren't dimmed, and actually all C items would be usable if only you had any to equip. If you immediately did a savewarp, you could skip talking to Saria, but it wouldn't be faster.

Love the 10/10 split between "games that take several minutes to a half hour to break pots" vs "I found this pot within seconds." It's very satisfying.

I'd personally put MM and BotW in their own category. You don't have to do too much, just play some minutes of the intro. Not comparable imo to actually beating fucking dungeons. So I'd go: 1 to 10 -- 11 to 12 -- 13 to 18 (I guess LoZ and AoL don't really count).

To be fair, these pots are somehow completely impervious to sword slashes. These aren't your standard boring old Hyrulean pots which break by any means (like spontaneous combustion).

Before I watched the video I thought breaking a pot in each game would be quick, but then, when you mentioned Link's Awakening, I remembered the hours of frustration I went through before finally being able to pick up a pot after collecting the item in the SECOND DUNGEON. Actually, I was surprised how long breaking a pot took in many of the games.
Re pots in Clock Town: There are pots in the sewer, at the Observatory, and on top of the Clock Tower. If memory serves, there are also pots in the secret back room of the swordsman's school. All of those take longer to access, though.
I didn't know plots were invented in 1990. They were invented ages ago
Twilight princess could of been done faster as there's a pot behind beaus house
We need to see how all of these Zelda challenges would be on Link's Crossbow Training.
You totally smoked those pots, dude!
Your personality is really what makes these videos. I wouldn’t watch just anyone break pots in every Zelda game
I remember suggesting this under one of your previous videos. I can't even begin to describe how happy it made me to finally see this ^^
you dont need to leave links house in Oot. just immediately save and reload after intro cutscene and a pot magically appears in there
You know, the 2D Octoroks are vaguely pot-shaped. You could have broken those…
The pot breaking sound triggers nostalgia like crazy!
Link's Awakening, Level 2 is actually shaped like a big pot, thus taunting you even more than you realized
After years of rehab. Link still falls back to his old ways.
I want this to be a run in GDQ. Just some madman frantically swapping out games and consoles while nattering on about pots.
A little bit of unknown lore - pots were invented during the filming of the 1990 movie Ghost. Demi Moore and Patrick Swayze's ghost were just messing around with some clay and accidentally created a pot. Not too long after that, Shigeru Miyamoto made a business trip to the Nintendo of America headquarters. He was racking his mind for some hook for the next Legend of Zelda game to be released for the Super Famicom. On a late night flight back to Japan, he ended up seeing the inflight movie Ghost and had the inspiration that would shape Zelda games for years to come.
I wonder how fast you can commit murder / kill an enemy in every legend of zelda game
I don't know why I keep watching these. I don't know what I'm getting out of them. And I don't plan to stop.
I like breaking pots too and I’m not talking about Zelda
0:49 j0rts: "No pots? Fine, I will settle with breaking _spinal cords_ instead." Who knew that the invention of the pot saved the world from a mass murderer. -At least as long as he never finds Paella on Razen...-
For Twilight Princess, you tried opening the ONLY locked door in the village.
Jorts has the weirdest obsessions in video games.
Technically for skyward sword theres plant pots in links room that you can break. They just don’t give you rupees
Contribute to the Economy in every Zelda game. (Buy something.)
Okay but how fast can you break *every* pot in every zelda game?
Aw link's pop pop smooching him was cute.
Love the videos, man. Keep it up!!!
Majora's Mask has 3 pots at the base of the astral observitory, each with 5 rupees. Probably faster your way. I like to spend any extra time on my 1st 3 day cycle filling my wallet from these by leaving through the moon tear door, re entering, then repeat, then running to the bank when full. I usually get about 1,000 rupees deposited before the night of the 3rd day.
Now you have all those pots. Now how long can it take you to get high? 2d games, how long till you can get to the top of the FULL world map, and 3d games, how long until you can get to the highest point in the game?

@nicksh1990
2 ай бұрын
@CassiusStelar no? I'm not sure what you mean. The Gamecube version retains Link's left-handedness, but subsequent releases (Wii, HD remake) made him right-handed, owing to using motion controls, and most people being right-handed. For me, personally, having played all three versions, the Gamecube version feels the most charming. Something was lost when they flipped it. I don't know how to explain it other than, it lost some of its soul. Most videos showing TP use the Wii or HD versions, so it's nice to see the Gamecube version.

"without saying a word.." in TWW, throwing a pot has Link call it a ho.
Link’s awakening is so amazing!

mmmmm croissant
I misread this title as being "How fast can you break _every_ pot in every Zelda game?" One, that is a hell of a feat. Two, how would you know you are done? I imagine data mining and meticulous tracking.
They deserved it. (Freaking pots, ruining everything)
Power Croissant xD
Power croissant lives forever!
One especially notable thing about the pots in Link to the Past is that they're stronger weapons than the master sword. Most enemies will go down in one hit if you huck a pot at their head.
Off the top of my head, the only other pots I can think of in Clock Town are in the sewers/Bomber's Hideout and observatory, and the required hide-and-seek and/or brute force finding 1 of 120 possible passcodes is definitely slower than the Trading Post pot.
How fast can you break every pot in a zelda game.
I did not expect the slowest to be a 2D game.
This video was gold every second
Fun fact! There were a few years there when Chain Chomp was in more Zelda games than Mario games -intro’d in Mario 3, don’t reappear till Yoshi’s Island; in LttP and Link’s Awakening :) Wow! The past!
Link went on to serve life in prison for several pot related murders
You break it, you buy it!
4:55 why have I never realized you could break the pot lady's pot on outset island, I thought she was just doomed to carry that thing forever
"This is for embarrassing me in front of Zelda" 💀
I read the title as 'how fast can you break every pot in a Zelda game' at first and was like "damn thatd take awhile!" only to realize you were being much more sensible LMAO
I think this should be a speedrun category
In Ocarina of Time, you can gets faster time if you exit Link's house and walk back in. For some reason, the pot in his house only spawns after you reload the map after the opening cutscene.
In Ocarina of time, there's a pot directly inside your house.
I love your videos.
Now touch fire in every Zelda game 🔥
How fast can you break a neck in every zelda game next please.😂
Theres an entire room of pots in majoras mask i think
6:20 And you happen to choose the house that never opens. I'M SO CURIOUS WHAT'S IN THERE!! 6:35 Hawk.
The Cyber World's Queen would squish you with her huge mech.
Huge time save in oot, you can just reenter links horseman and there will be one
Your OOT can be faster as all you have to do is re-enter links house after leaving it following the opening cs to spawn the one in his room.
Idea: “How fast you can touch death in every zelda game”
in twilight princess theres a pot behind mayor bo's house as well as inside jaggles house
Pots of the kingdom
" we can borrow their money. " thats just a loan.
Touch Air in every Metroid. Touch Authority in every Wario title. Lose a life in every Kirby game.
