It definitely was fun looking at all the different units. I bought a condominium years ago, and because it had heat, and electricity included closed the deal for me. I do have to share laundry and I do hate it, but we have two huge laundry rooms,with plenty of washers and dryers. I can't wait until you move in, and decorate!!!

I’m so excited for you Keegan! Congratulations! And I just want to say going for the one you didn’t have to renovate completely was definitely the right choice. I work for my father in laws construction company and I would recommend against any young first time homebuyer doing a complete renovation if you have no experience. It’s wonderful to get to completely customize your home but 99% of the time it takes more money and more time and adds more stress than you think. One day you can do it for sure! But for now a move in ready place seems perfect for you

I love condo number 10. Can’t wait for the move in content The laundry situation sounded bad in the first several you toured. I do share laundry currently and it not bad but it does stink sometimes when you want to wash something and have to wait. Mine currently is one washer and one dryer for 8 units in the building. However having to share with 7 floors sounds worse unless it’s like only 1 condo per floor.

condo HOA fees are crazy. here in colorado typical is 300/mo. meanwhile my 15 yr mortgage is 750

Congratulations!! I definitely think you picked the right one! I hated to hear you say multiple times that you were being too picky. You're not!! This is a big investment, and you want what you want, so you should be "picky". I look forward to seeing you make it your own! OH! And I'm definitely glad you didn't compromise your feelings of not wanting to be on the 1st floor. I don't blame you a bit and think that's very wise. Plus you obviously feel strongly about it and you would have regretted it if you'd gotten a 1st floor unit. You did great!

Congratulations! You definitely would not want to try to live through a whole house reno. It gets really old, really quickly having everything torn up and in disarray ...plus the expense. Great choice!!

The house we live in have awful plug sockets. There’s so many plugs that I have are bulky and won’t fit in the sockets because of awkward angles. But it’s not something you’d think of looking at when property viewing.

I ❤ this tour. The things I ❤ about Condo are less chores and maintenance and no yard work. You don’t have to worry about the outside. Disadvantage is you’re too close to your neighbors. I have a good size yard. It can cost money to maintain if you want the grass to look nice.
