@@KeeganActon haha yeah, I've been already doing that, got rid of most of my notes ect from uni, lädt weekend was spent on going through all my clothes and donating a lot. It's a fun but equally stressful time 😂😁

I moved to a new apartment last October and I hope I never have to move again. Of course, I’m a lot older than you. I had to overlap for about two weeks but I was glad I did because that way I could take my time. I probably spent two whole days just deep cleaning my new place. Good luck on your move.

I agree with the car comment everyone thinks driving bigger cars is easier but always having had a smaller car it’s what I’m used to, when I drive my moms SUV it’s HUGE compared to my Camry.

Get a 3 section garbage can for garbage, paper recycle and container recycle. It’s the best! Also does your moving company not have boxes to rent?

I learned how to drive in a mom-van, but I used my mom's sedan to practice and take my test in. I'm comfortable with both, but for different reasons. I prefer driving in a city or more compact/tight places in a sedan, but out in the open or on highways I feel more confident in a big van, because I'M the big car and you need to stay out of MY way >:)

I just unexpectedly moved too!! I had like 5 days and still had to work. Happy to report I’m all moved in but my body is literally dead ☠️ like straight up noodle status haha I feel you in the stressfulness and the heat 🥵 such a fun combo 🫠 but alas you will rock it like always!! I hate packing… I always try to use reusable totes instead of boxes.. ikea has some great one tote bags with handles, but plastic rubbermaid totes work great for me.. once I moved with boxes and it was like twenty medium boxes, and another time I used rubbermaid totes and I only needed six or seven.. You can also hire full service movers that will pack for you.

I’m saving about $300 a month with this new apartment so it was definitely worth it to me for the money that I was saving to live in somewhere a little bit smaller

my current apartment was increasing my rent and I found a new apartment that was roughly $300 cheaper and i felt like i couldn't pass that up!! it's a smaller apartment and not as nice of a complex but i was fine with that for the money i would save :)
