In terms of your career, instead of working towards a specific job title, maybe lean into the skills that you are interested in. There are jobs in marketing now that didnt exist even 10 years ago. So taking a more skills based approach, such as upskilling in Data, AI, Globalisation, etc. This gives you a wide base to a) figure out what it is you like and b) allow you to grow and change with the industry. Keegan! I love that your manager is offering for you to learn other skills so you aren't stuck in only social media as you move forward. A good mentor can be so hard to find. I have been in marketing for a long time and I think where your position could naturally go is into growth/digital marketing. This position will not only manage the digital ads, but also work with sales teams on how marketing and sales can work together. You would create/manage multi-channel campaigns that help grow the business (ie - a campaign that includes ads, social, events, webinars, collateral, emails, etc). Growth marketing also has so much upward opportunity to become marketing management (director/VP/C-level) in the future. If you are really into writing and getting a bit more into the "technical" side of things, product marketing could also suit you. They work with the product team to create the strategy of how you bring a product to market. It can be pretty stressful and relies heavily on writing.

Something to consider: I would get a second crockpot. That way on your meal prep days, you can make two different dishes and alternate them for your lunches and freeze some for future dinners.

Coming from someone currently doing marketing for ecomm, I would look into digital ads if you want to get more into the analytical side of it but if you want a little more creativity I would look into copywriting and branding. My background’s also in social media and now working in ecomm has taught me so much. I definitely agree that working in a different sector of marketing will help with avoiding burnout and learning new skills!

Yayyy another update! As someone who lives in NJ and who visited Sedona, I think I'd rather take the dry heat over the heat and humidity... That said, I think we had *one* day where it was around 110 and we don't live with heat year-round, so I might be biased lol 😅

I work in a media agency doing paid digital marketing and what you mentioned about learning about data and creatives leads me to recommend looking into media planning or media strategy or creative strategy. Media planning and strategy requires you to look into data and consumer behavior to recommend channels and touchpoints and its very data driven although not digital specific. Creative strategy is the same but instead of focusing on media channels its all about comms ❤ Why i like media more is it can be a bit more objective since its based on data analysis whereas creative strategy leans towards subjective and depends on the clients’ taste

Also - when you started talking about your short- and long-term career goals and your wants/thought processes behind it, you literally touched on what I was thinking of: the intersectionality of social media, marketing, and business analytics! At my prior job, I had started in customer service, got promoted to office manager, and shortly before leaving I had the opportunity to transform my role into something of a hybrid position that combined content development, social media marketing, and lead generation. I was also involved in marketing budget planning, execution, and management, which I think is another great skillset to develop if you're interested/not already involved in that!

Make sure to get a bar/door jam for your front door!

i have a suggestion, about the shelves. Put two on one side of the tv (ideally the same ones) and the other one on the other side - to kinda frame it. you could put your mirror on the right side(where you wanted it at first) and then do the single shelf there to kinda balance it 2:2. and then there would be space on the wall where the lonley shelf was now at the beginning of the vlog for your big frame and even your mirror if my first suggetion is to tight a squeeze. hope this helps and is not already resolved cause i have only watched half the vid yet, but since it just came out i wanted to comment as soon as possible. lots of love

I absolutely get the feeling the accident was in slow motion. Over the memorial day weekend a bad fire happened at my apartment complex in my building. So sad two apartments completely gutted. I sat there that next day and since thinking who am I to be so fortunate. I think you should let your hair grow out, there are so many more options. But you look gorgeous either way.

Hi Keegan I love your new home. And this was an awesome week in your life. Can I make a suggestion for when you are filming in your kitchen. Get a second panel for your kitchen curtains that way you can push one panel to the left and one to the right to let light into your room and not have to blur the camera. The bluring is very distracting. Also please know that when your curtains are open and it’s bright outside we can’t see any landmarks that would give away where you live. As a mom I want you to be safe and wouldn’t suggest anything that would jeopardize your safety.

@@KeeganActonit’s a film that you put on the windows. You should be able to find online (Amazon may have it) and/or Home Depot, Lowe’s, etc.. Look for peel and stick window privacy films.

Hey, when thinking where you want to go, there are some things you mention that would be helpful to work on. You mention being uncomfortable presenting and talking infront of live people, so more opportunities to that. Also, you get stress out over things you dont need. When looking to a higher level position you need to handle well. Consider how to manage when talking with your therapist if your not already. I hope that was not receive in a harsh manner. You are just so talented and dont want you to be held back for any reason. I get so motivated from how productive you are and love watching your videos. I used to live at Miller and McKellips and love seeing the area again, the few times I've reconized it.

Brenda im so sorry for your loss!! losing a pet is one of the hardest things. it made me feel a little better knowing that they're in a better place and not being limited by their age and illnesses. someone told me that the pain is a reflection of how much they were loved and how great of a life they had. it made me feel better knowing they were happy while there were here. the sadness goes away over time but they will always have such a big impact on your life. bigger than the whole sky. im sorry for your loss!!

If you are looking for a new egg cup recipe to rotate into your breakfast here is the one I use: Spray a muffin tin with nonstick spray Set oven to 350 degrees place 3-4 cheese cubes (your favorite type, I use Colby jack) into the bottom of each of the muffin tin Then place cubed or diced ham in each of the muffin tins Scramble 1 dozen eggs in a large (4 cup) measuring cup Add whatever seasoning you like and mix it in Pour the egg mixture into each muffin tin Place in oven and cook for 30-35 minutes Let cool and place in container then the refrigerator to enjoy throughout the week

You should look into media. I'm a creative (An art director) and media might be something for ya. OR I think you would be a great associate account manager, they work hand in hand with creatives, still has some creative aspects, but it's not their forte!

You have what it looks like really thin hair and i personally think you'll look way better with longer hair. I wouldn't cut it, yet at least. Think about it this way: you already know what you look like with short hair so i say keep it until it's like boob lenght and then see if you like it like that or still want to cut it!

When we bought our house it took 2 months after we moved in until we had to start paying the mortgage, enjoy this time it is probably the same for you. Did you know you can ask Alexa to find your phone? if you say Alexa find my phone it will literally call your phone so you can find it.

Hi Keegan 🙂 I love how happy you are in your new home. You must have your first 'new place' bagel 🥯. I think you are someone who will be super successful in any career, especially if you have a manager who is a 'go-getter' themselves. Do you have a 1/3/5-year plan, in terms of life achievements?

It sounds like you'd really enjoy digital marketing! There's so many benefits to knowing the math side of things plus being able to be creative. There are so many courses out there to learn more about it. Also - once you start in marketing you'll find soooo many other different parts of marketing that you may interested in. I'm a Marketing Content Specialist and create all of our written content but also focus on numbers too.
