Thanks a lot mate, we have exactly the same dryer with exactly the same issue also in our garage. ^0 seconds with her hair dryer and bingo! working fine again. You're a star!

Mine is still outside and Ive had to do the same again but its a work around and does the job 👍

I did this, also did the thing where you turn the knob and press start 3 times and reset the button on the back behind the panel all worked for 30 seconds and then the code is showing up again! Any suggestions? Ive only had the dryer for 2 weeks😭

Wish I could help but the good thing is its still under warranty and it sounds as if it has a genuine manufacturing defect. Assuming you have bought it from new it wants returning
