Daniel: Home Appliance Technician: If you have F04 and then F06 then the thermostat on top of the heater has failed here.
Daniel: Home Appliance Technician: What you need to do is pull the dryer out and remove the back cover on the back of the dryer.
Daniel: Home Appliance Technician: There you will see the heater element.
Daniel: Home Appliance Technician: On the top there you will see 2 thermostats.
Daniel: Home Appliance Technician: The one on the left with the black and blue wires is the thermostat that will have failed.
Daniel: Home Appliance Technician: What you can try is remove the thermostat from the top of the heater.
Daniel: Home Appliance Technician: You will need to bend out the metal tabs holding the thermostat on.
Daniel: Home Appliance Technician: Once the thermostat is off you need to throw the thermostat own on a hard surface silver side down and it will reset it.
Daniel: Home Appliance Technician: You can tell if its reset as if you give it a shake it will rattle.
Daniel: Home Appliance Technician: Then refit the thermostat and retry the dryer and fingers crossed thats curesed the fault from there.
Daniel: Home Appliance Technician: So check that and see what you find.
Daniel: Home Appliance Technician: But the error codes you have this will be a faulty thermostat here.
