Many thanks for posting this great video, exactly what I needed. Didn't expect there to be one for this specific problem with my Hotpoint Aqualtis of 11 years. In my case the water tray was completely stuffed with old slimy fluff blocking the floater and impeller. All sorted now!

Thanks for the great straight forward video. Helped me heaps. The ariston model here in Australia is slightly different. The rubber prop was ok but the polystyrene float looks worn out. Thanks again for your excellent video .saved me money and the wife’s stoked.👍

This helped a lot. In my case one of two tiny little flat washers at the end of the pump axis was broken, this is in the upper part above the pump part. The broken washer parts had gone in between the rotor piece on the axis and the black motor unit and stopped/made it difficult for the axis to turn. Just removed the broken parts and put it together again and now it works.

Your video was so helpful. I hav e a different model but all your metods applied. I am a 63 yr old woman who afyer a few baileys decided to take the dryer. And hey presto i did it. I dont think its the impeler but the float disintegrating. Cleaned it all and and working. Impressive video and teaching. Thank you.

very nice explanation. if I need this spare part how can I get it ? because the agent in my country need to sell complete pump to fix . I am ready to pay the shipping price and cost.

So I checked the rubber thing it was fine and the pump does push out water , but there is still a puddle forming after its done. What could be the problem ?

Why would water be accumulating in the tray where the rubber propeller goes ? Checked the propeller but it's still intact but every time I take it off bottom tray Is filled with water,amazing vid by the way op,very helpful during these tough time,thank you.

Check the pipes are not blocked take them off and blow down them Check the float is going up and down freely ect

10:37 this high sound which is produced from where ? I have the same model exactly but ariston 8kg and the sound when it's start very high , there no issue except the noisy sound , because of that we place it inside the washing room and close the room door to reduce its noisy sound , this sound since I unbox it and when I called the service they said this is its sound and this is normal 😔😶

What could be the issue or where is the part that produce the sound 🤔 so I can but some engine oil on it to make it rotate smoothly and quietly 🤫
