Good info on the fault and how to get the door lock out, but your blue crimp connections aren't much good, especially the last one where you squeezed the sides of the connectors with the pliers instead of top and bottom. If anyone else sees this video, use a proper crimping tool, they don't cost much more than the part does and it's much safer!

My Idecit gives the code F06 and the door no longer opens. Centrifuging or draining does not help. Unplugged it (5 minutes), no effect either. If the door remains closed, is the door lock not burned or may it still need to be replaced?

Hi i have an indesit ewe91482w and the lock symbol has lit up and everything has stopped working, i have had no fault codes so... i changed the hinge and the lock but i didnt mark the wires first like a fool and now ive put it all back together and its doing the same thing no different, the lock was black from a burn too but its still wont start? it just keeps blinking the lock symbol please help

All lights flashing when it goes on spin Door WILL open and close ...when i turn it off I still have the **red light lock showing ** Error shows F06. Is it still a broken door? Its OK until it goes on spin (INDESIT )

Hi. I think it will be a faulty door lock . It's still working but the red light shows you it needs replacement as the resistor in it is not in good condition.

If it doesn't turn on it.means the door lock is gone and needs replacement. If you still can wash them it will need replacement soon

Hi there. If the door is locked, how you open it in the first place?!! In order to do all that to fix it?!! Thanks. My neighbors machine has that problem but we cannot open the door to take the clothes out...

Try to run the washing machine without any clothes in it and soonest it starts try to open the door. If you can open them it means the door lock is burnt out and needs replacement
