Thanks for fishing our downrigger rod. This model is designed to load through the blank as it does,. We have a lot of these on the water. Some do use this model as a dropper rod and yes it is softer in the middle. We design 12 different kokanee models for longlining and droppers. The winter spotted bass there is also very delicious. White and flakey. The texture and quality is in between a striper and a crappie.

I've never had any bass but I did hear spots are good to eat. Bass community might hate me if I eat a bass LOL

Great video, I almost went to Bullards yesterdy but went to Collins instead. I was wanting to go Bullards Monday if its open new years day. I really want to try kokanee fishing from my Kayak, never tried it before.

Hello Moo, nice Koke action for sure nice vid. I am not sure what hooks you are using, try gamakatsu (split shot/drop shot) hooks size 4. My catch ratio increased pretty good. I use 2 hooks on almost every setup set close. As far as corn, put corn on the first hook only if you are getting those short hits. I use only on piece per hook… happy holidays take care.

No something different. I don't think breaking it with the garage door is cover by a warrenty.

@@MooMooOutdoors I think any breakage they will replace. I know TFO will as well as Diawa, I broke my Steez rod putting into the back of my truck and they replaced it for the shipping fee. Just give Shakespere a call to see.
