I bought a 1990 Honda CRX HF, it now has over 400,000 miles on the engine, and the car looks new. I would love to put a new engine in it.

I love this CRX, like the video, I like it because it is a sweet normal CRX, not converted into a Transformers car with a K20 or a 2024 engine, vintage parts, as it should be 👍.

Just got a 1991 crx si and was looking at videos on how to do regular maintenance for it and came across this video. Still have a ton to learn but would like to eventually do something like this. Thanks for sharing

Great to hear! I would recommend as a first step replace all the suspension bushings with Energy Suspension polyurethane bushings. I did that to my CRX when I first bought it and it made it feel like it was brand new again. I have a video showing how i did this on my EG Hatchback if you're interested.

I did this swap in the late 90s. No mount kit, no information on how to do it. I had a sawzall and a mig welder. Had to find exactly what wire went where.

The motor came from the same year Honda CRX but a Japanese version that came with the B16 motor from the factory.

Do you guys have a detailed way of how you did this? My kid and I just got an ef hatch with a b16a that was swapped in it. However, the wiring is all jacked up. Any help would be appreciated.

It really wasn't that bad. The time lapse makes it look like more work than it is. Just swapping a couple of wires around.
