The proper way to clear the air is to actually leave the top off the reservoir and turn the wheel to full lock each side a few times
It's so relaxing and satisfying to watch someone who knows what they're doing work. This procedure is better than the Honda service manual. Thank you
there's a bunch of other videos like this, but yours has the best instructions and is easy to follow, especially for someone like me who knows nothing about cars

Haha appreciate it brother. I took ALOT of time to make this video so I appreciate it!
I noticed you posted this three years ago, but I just followed your instructions, and they worked perfectly on my 07 Accord. Thank you SO much!
Best power steering fluid change video!!!! Nice tip about just moving the wheel so you can watch the fluid color coming out.
life saver dude! thank you so much, my whining noise was so loud i thought it was my transmission lmao but did this and now my steering wheel is buttery smooth and no whine!!!
That was the perfect way to describe how to do it. Some people aren't all the way clear about everything by leaving some little details out & sometimes those little details make a huge difference in efficiency and time management
Great video! Nice, clear and straight to the point. I prefer 10000x more to "lose" some minutes doing that flush with the car off than running the pump dry. People really underestimate how fast the fluid flows when the engine is running and how much wear you can make in the pump for a few seconds dry.
I'm a beginning technician and this helped understand steering flushes soooooo easily and simple, thank you sir 😊
After watch many videos,I finally found this with the best explanation than the other videos👍👍thanks
Excellent video, Buddy. I do love how you get right to the meat of the information & make it super easy to understand. Thank you.
Great video, Buddy! This method is beautiful in its simplicity and effectiveness! Best I've seen on u-tube!
Easy to follow. No bs. Simple. To the point. Exactly what ya want in a how to.
Amazing work! Clear, concise and easy to follow. Thanks much.
Just what I needed. Well done. I'm no wrench and this was easy to follow. Ty!!
Amazing video, loved it. I really like simple, straight forward videos that include a description of what you will need. Subscribed
Best video on how to flush steering fluid on KZread!
Excellent. Definitely one of the most succinct instructional videos I've seen. Thank you!
Excellent video. I like the jack and also the hose below and no above the bumper. This is the way I was looking for. Thanks for sharing.
Great video. Thanks. I have to change out my power steering pump in my 05 Acura tl
I tried watching a bunch of other videos on how to purge a Honda this has to be the best one that I seen. I do have one thing to say I hope you changed that belt I haven’t seen one that bad in a long time lol.
Thanks for the video! I can appreciate your thoughtfulness in this procedure.
Awesome Video! Thank you for making a non-BS straight and to the point video! I'm going to do exactly this on my CRV.

Me too. Now il do it by my self. Crv
One word genius. Great video and great trick jacking up car so you can easily pump the fluid out by rotating the wheels manually.
Straight to the point indeed. Thanks man. Keep it up. Liked and subscribed.
You did a good job on this video. You made it sweet and simple to understand. I suggest you add a talk on the best place to purchase the fluid or what fluid you like. I think the synthetics are better. Also tell us how much fluid you used for the job.
SWEET! This is the best video yet on how to do this, thank you sir! And I like how you are using the steamer pan to catch the fluid, I never thought of that, very smart! And I did subscribe. ;-)
This is the best video for flushing power steering fluid. Thank you

Great video….. This will save my son a lot of money. 1999 Accord. 👍🏻😎 Thanks!! I just subscribed to your channel.
Excellent video. Thanks for the upload
Great video. Cheers man!:)) Anybody know how much power steering fluid the accords hold, is 1Lt enough?
Great vid. Quick question for you or anyone. I have to replace the high pressure hose. Should I flush system before or after, or before and after?
Great job. Going to check out your other videos now
Thank you for the video. Thinking. Should I do this when the engine is not hot. Maybe the power steering fluid will burn the PVC hose if still hot.
Got 2 Honda to do 07 with 75k and 13 with 105k never change before. Thx for the instructions
Thanks for you video ❤ I World do mine tomorrow. Lets see how it goes 🤞🏻🙏🏼
thanks ! that was super helpful and no-nonsense
Hey man, thanks for your great video, do you recall how much fluid did you used? I know the genuine fluid comes as 12oz bottles
Awesome detail, thanks!
Great info. re power steering flush/change !!
best video now im going to g for it my went out last week
Great job! Have to do my CRV.
Keep in mind Honda accord 2014 and Honda pilot 2017 does NOT have a power steering fluid. Great video, I bought six bottles power steering fluid to flush out for both cars. Realized no power steering fluid.
You have done perfect this is the right way
This is a wonderful video, & I am going to share it. Thank you so very much :-)

@@BuddysDIY how many quarts did you need for the flush?
Thanks for sharing, great video
I just saw this video, I was wondering, would I need to do this before or after replacing my power steering pump?
Sorry if this was asked, what’s the OD on the 1/4” ID tubing. It’s kind of important for a snug fit.
Nice work and I like that E92 😎👍😀
Thank you, this is a great help.
Yea this is great man thanks so much
This guy is amazing. Lol. Great video!
Hey thanks for the sharing the video! I have watched a few of these already. Is it okay to jack the car from the front side of the vehicle without the jack stands to get both front tires up? Since I don’t plan on working below the vehicle. Also when you jack the under the front of the car. From where exactly are you jacking the car from? What’s that part called & does the frame of the vehicle run along that area..
Wow,great video. Thanks!!!
thank you for doing this video
Great video. Good job!
very helpful video. thank you.
This was awesome!
Great video!! Thank you.
That was a great video. Thanks.
great video. thanks for sharing
I bought 1/2” tubing to basically plug the reservoir but it’s just leaking out from the bottoms like crazy. Zip ties don’t get tight enough to seal it
Great video thanks !
Great instructive video except I would stick with the Honda PS fluid just in case non Honda fluid may damage the seals.
Great vid. U got a sub from. 😂 ty for the tips will do it that way. 👍
I was wondering about the fluid that’s left inside the pump, and the lines leading to and from it? Since the engine didn’t spin the pump, it could be that there is still old fluid in there, please correct me if I’m wrong
Thank you for cutting out the small talk! People watch videos like this to get to the point. Many others have to learn from you.
Very nice brother!!!!
How ounceyof Power steering fluid is needed? Thank you.
Great vid
Great video thanks 👍👍👍👍
How much power steering fluid did you go through? Just the 12 ounce container?
On my tsx the hose going that goes down has oil and serpent belt makes a squeeky noise, could it be related to steering pump?
Perfect video
if you put jack stands under the car, you should lower the car onto them, but leave a some pressure on the jack as well. they aren't gonna help if that car slides off the jack to one side-- might even punch a hole in the bottom of the car. you'd be better off not even using the jacks if youre going to do it that way ((wheels on, and stands w the gap))
Can you use Prestone Asia power steering fluid ? Can't seem to find any Honda fluid thanks 👍
