I really liked this movie. Some people criticize it, saying it's not really based on a true story, but I don't care. It was a really fun adventure, with some great acting, and even quite touching at parts. My favourite line: Prince: "You will not defeat me. I was born of a great tribe! People of the horse!" Frank: "So was I."

Except Amerinds didn't have horses till after the Euros arrived. I really like this move too, but frankly the story-line is childish/cartoonish and much of the character development relies on stereotypes and is shallow. Viggo did a really good job and the camera work/scenery was excellent. Most of the secondary characters & writers 'phoned it in'.

One of my favorite movies of all time. Also, it really was based on a true story. Viggo Mortensen did such a great job with the Frank Hopkins role. He always does to this day. Amazing actor/director.

One of the my favorite movies which inspires me in so many ways.

It´s one of the best movies of Viggo Mortensen. And the first blockubster of Zuleikha Robinson, together they did a great couple. Really Jazira was a great addition to this movie as Viggo´s love interest .

She’s so beautiful I was always in love with zuleikha since I was a kid

It does happen. I ran a hundred yard with in the time set. 1991. I was angry, and I competed against my own RAZA. Blacks had little to do with it. I can't do it again but I did it ones, That's what matters.
