The best moment for me so far would be when she threw offred down to the ground after finding out she was sleeping with her husband and screamed into her ear " do you understand me".

Well I am actually not use to her being stone cold. I am use to her smiling a lot because of Chuck. Yeah, she had her stone cold moments even there, but most of the time she was sweet and warming character.

Yeah, I was going to comment about how her role on "Chuck" was like a totally 180 degrees different then Serena Joy. I believe that is the main reason why I think Yvonne should have won an Emmy award for Serena Joy, and I believe eventually she will -- because not only is the role totally opposite of how she played in "Chuck", but Yvonne really sells it this role as very believable, almost too much so to where you start ending up hating the character as much as June/Offred does by the end of season 1.

... and I've continued to do so well into season 2, especially after the just aired episode 6. I'm almost cringing at what to expect in the aftermath episode of the bombing in episode 7 to air next Wednesday. But that's definitely to the credit of Strahovski's acting.

Literally everyone's acting on this show is fucking insane. The way she made me go back and forth from hating Serena to then seeing the tiniest bit of compassion towards June, back to wanting to strangle her, etc. etc. So good

I think it has a lot to do w/ confusion between knowing her role as a wife and being conflicted w/ her feelings of it (the way she treat June) not being ok ,its wrong, then we see a smudge of compassion until she is beat back into domestication then she turns into a b$t%h again

She's one of those actresses that usually don't get parts other than the main guy's love interest and never get to show how much talent they really have. Im glad she made it

Yeah, definitively. She could easily switch between sweet and caring to very serious in few seconds. Also, as much as I hate what they did with her character those last two episodes, I thought she was terrific as stone cold assassin. It just shows how she can easily switch between rolls. She was pretty good in 24 too.

There is a stark contrast between Yvonne and Serena Joy. It’s baffling that she didn’t get a nomination for her amazing performance. But then again, the villain hardly ever gets nominations... :/

My favorite thing is the lamp on the Commander's desk. What a beauty! I love the house too but it's hard to appreciate when watching the show, cause the storyline is so dismal. But I'll be watching Season 2. I'm sure you are too!!

I do too. The house they use for the exterior is Lovely and I love every single set they use for the rooms, ESPECIALLY the kitchens and dining room. All the plants in the dining room is just LOVELY :)

I really detest the lighting used in filming; so many scenes are so dark I can barely see anything, then you've got the over-use of the back bright sunlight...that and the repetitive boring emotionally manipulative music could have been done a lot better IMO

She's lost a lot of her Australian accent now. But you can hear it here and there. It's quite mixed, but more American than Australian. lol

This isn't uncommon. If you spend lot of time in once place where people talk like "this or that" you eventually adopt their accent and speech patterns. If she goes back to Australia for like a few months, she'll probably start speaking in her full Australian accent again. Sad she's losing it tho, she always sounded so cute with her Australian accent.

Yeah, she's so sweet and cute, but I don't find her pretty at all in this show. Probably because she plays super bitchy stone cold asshole, so it's makes her less appealing. I mean, I've seen her in Manhattan Nights which was released like a year ago and she's her usual cute self there. I doubt she "aged badly" in just one year.

She says so much with her face even when she doesn't speak, and her emotions can change from one instant to the next. She is a match for Elisabeth Moss who has a similar technique. Their scenes together are among the best in the show.

So likable in person and so hatable on the show. Brilliant actress!

Yvonne is one of the greatest actresses in the show. She deserves an award for her performances.

My little brother got to be a extra in season 2 and he met many of the main actors and he was on the set I’m so jelly I love this show

Absolutely soft spoken actress.. absolutely beautiful woman.. love her.

i am a massive yvonne strahovski fan. and it’s been incredible watching her in this role. it’s so far from anything she’s done before, and she’s absolutely killing it!! she’s so damn versatile. i mean Chuck, Dexter, Handmaid’s Tale- she just slays it all. not many can pull off comedy, sci-fi, drama, dark comedy, AND action (my God she should have her own action movie franchise. she’s like the POLISH NIKITA!haha) and yet she kills it in every single genre! she is SO underrated. and seems truly down to earth and gracious. 🙃 aaaand should’ve been cast as Captain Marvel ☺️

Okay, I REALLY thought this was one of those shows filmed on real locations and houses. I'm impressed, I've never even thought about it being a set. I suppose it's because they make the full room, not just 3 walls, like on sitcoms.
