I do kinda wonder if, not unlike one of his former costars and personal heroes Robert Deniro, if Leo will eventually be able to get to a point where he's able to allow himself to more naturally flow with this kind of thing and have any sort of fun with it at all. It's not a criticism that he doesn't, it's just not in someone's immediate nature to be as comfortable with it, and they're still professional and not rude or something. But like Deniro for so long when he was younger was able to get away with rarely doing any press at all (easier to accomplish back then), and he was such a private person and didn't even really wanna just talk about acting in a public setting. But by now and for actually several years, he still doesn't do it a ton, but way more in comparison, and he can have fun with it.

Considering how big Britney was during Margot's childhood, it only makes sense for her to feel that way =) That is if she was a fan of Britney.

Leo is so shy in real life. Like the exact opposite of his movie characters. I love that.

He's a great interviewer. It's such a pleasure to finally see someone do a good job interviewing actors.

The reason this interviewer's questions are so good is because he asks them questions about their job as actors. He doesn't treat them like they actually are the characters that they play, but rather the decisions they made as actors when playing the character, working on the set, or working with other people. Not only that, but they are very specific questions that make the actor think of a detailed answer. He's also well researched and clearly likes cinema so his questions spark an emotion and enthusiasm as well. Well done.

The end product is entertainment. An interviewer that relies on his guests to make that entertainment happen is putting all the burden of his work on them. When the QUESTION is entertaining, it's much less of a burden for the guest to provide an interesting answer. And so I completely agree with you: well done!

Having just recently re-watched Once Upon A Time in Hollywood for the umpteenth time - hearing Margot's native Aussie accent is adorable. And as everyone else here in comments are saying, this interviewer is fantastic and really carried on a very natural interview with great questions and topics. A pleasure to watch.

Ali is one of the best interviewers, he always asks questions you are actually interested in listening too, and the interviewee usually seems to be just as into it.

Now this is how you conduct an interview. He did his homework, adapted to the vibe of the interview to get all 3 actors comfortable, asked questions relevant to the movie that also related to their careers and avoided awkwardness or any kind of instigation. Didn’t try to get the actors to say anything controversial, didn’t veer off into their personal lives, just kept it professional yet relaxed, deep yet casual and over all else allowed the actors to provide an excellent and clearly illustrated overview of the movie through his detailed questions. Bravo.

Because they are trained to have a proper posture and position when having a conversation. This is the perfec pose for an interview/discussion, in front of milions of viewers. Imainge for a second that Margo had her legs spread, and Brad would be sitting like Big Lebowsky or something, it would see disrespectful to the audience and the interviewer.

Props to this interviewer. Every interview I’ve seen he’s asking incredible questions the actors enjoy talking to him! Big props!!

I'm extremely impressed with Ali's ability to get real responses from these stars.

i noticed that Margo was allways laughing at Brads jokes, and not really that much at Leo's jokes, he definitely is the ladies man.

These 3 were outstanding in this movie ,I've watched it loads of times ...just gets better ❤️

This was one of the most solid entertainment interviews I've ever seen.

Leo's body language appears to mirror what Cameron Diaz once said.... "If I could, I'd do movies for free, then charge $20,000,000 to promote them".

Dude has been the center of media attention since he was a teenager. Can't blame him for being totally fed of it, to be completely honest. Of course all movie stars get that kind of attention, but most of them get famous in their 20s or so. DiCaprio has had to deal with it since when?...when he was 12?. He had to grow up as a kid with that kind of BS chasing him all the time. Hardly can blame him for just going through the paces in interviews - and only do them as part of promotional work.

Ali Plumb is fantastic. I've loved him since the Empire podcast. Such insight and curiousity. Occasionally I've been asked 'what would you ask X?' or 'do you have a question for X?' and my mind is blank. Plumb has a neverending flow of original, fascinating questions and you can always see his interviewees go from 'another boring interview' to 'wow, this is fun' in the first minute. Also...Dicaprio, Pitt and Robbie is a fun trio. Great video.

words can't describe how much i love this film (Once upon a time in Hollywood)-- and these 3 actors i love so much. It makes me sad that Quentin will probably stop making his films after number 10-- but i'm glad we have been able to get his films at all.

Brad is always in high spirits, Leo looks like he'd rather be anywhere else in the world.

Ali's one of my favorite interviewers. :-) I love the things he asks and the way he just relates to the actors. Keep it up.

Seeing Leo&Brad together is totally awesome on&off screen their personalities together are gold!😂❤

This is a really good interviewer, every one I see him in, he clearly does his research, and has unique and interesting questions that surprise and entertain the guests.

8:43 Q: Have you been tempted to see your own movies in regular theaters? Leo: Nods “yes” Both other Actors: “Nooo” “Nope” Leo thinking: “Oh shit, am I only one” Me: “Dam, I wanted to know which ones he might have gone to see and how was it for him or why”
