How is that "always hilarious"? Being in a wheelchair does NOT negate a person's height. It's still documented in the medical world until you stop growing and is also put on your non-driver's ID or license because it's still relevant information.

I honestly feel like the whole bully bdubs about his height has become more of an inside joke at this point. Like, it started as teasing, then it became spiteful ribbing, and bdubs eventually went 'fuck it we ballin' and rolled with the gag at some point. He knows the viewers and other hermits love it so he indulges them every now and then. (sometimes quite comically) I feel the same way about Grian and Buttons, like I could easily imagine it started as a one off gag, then Grian 'clicked' (unintentional pun) something in his brain and he got addicted/ fixated on them. You could say he became quite ImpulseSV about it.

yeah for sure. Him playing along and going "yes, and..." (or in this case "yes, but...") is a huge part of why it's still going on. I'd assume if he didn't like it, he'd told them to stop by now. Being able to be made fun of is an impressive skill, too. Very admirable.

I love this gag that came from his NHO days when he was shortest among them (Etho, Doc and Beef are all 6ft+ while Bdubs is 5’10) has carried over to HC and then the life series and probably to a lot more, and now others tease him about it even if he is taller than them lol He just puts off small gremlin energy

The difference is that you’re female. The average height for a woman generally falls between 5’4” and 5’6”. Average height for a man is around 5’9” to 5’11”. You can’t argue that you being a tall woman and the same height as a man makes him tall too, because men and women’s heights have to be judged by different standards. No, Bdubs isn’t short, but he’s not tall, either. He’s average.

im 5' 10" and i think there's something weird going on with the part of the state i grew up in and live, bc ive only ever met 2 dudes taller than me. most have been as tall as me or very slightly shorter.

i know a guy that would come help with my grandma .... she's 4'11", and he's like 6'7" or taller lol. Idk. She'd look up at him. "How's the weather up there," and giggle. in photos with her, she always looks like she's sitting, but she's standing .... I'm the shortest in my generation at 5'9".... my younger sister is even taller than me by an inch.
