It's amazing how ignorant I was of God's Word. I was in Church for decades and never read the Bible because my Pastor has a Masters of Divinity Degree. While I was working all week he was studying, praying, and preparing his sermons. When I started reading God's Word I realized how much I didn't know. Romans, changed me and helped me finally put the sins I was practicing behind me. The biggest thing I was shocked about was how some things I was taught were wrong. It was a hard pill to swallow. You will never know what the truth is if you Don't read the Word of God yourself.

It's amazing people, especially nowadays honestly believe that lying, stealing, cursing Gods name, blasphemy, sin in general, adultery isn't a big deal. We should be ware of these devilish sayings, specially these “half-trues” spoken out of context: they are typically from the bifid tongue of the Devil.

@jsharp9735 Of all the Catholic Masses i went to since i was little there's only a sermon or two i actually remember to this day. One was when i (21 or so at the time) went with my two younger sisters b/c our guardians wanted to make sure we attended church. That particular sermon the priest read Mark 9:41-50 where Jesus says it's better for you to cut off a limb (hand, foot, or pluck out your eye) than to go turn Hell "Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched." It was the first time a sermon from Church really stuck with me (that i recall); and a few years later God showed me i was headed there. Cried out to Him for mercy...life's never been quite so good since. : )

He won't, gauranteed. How do I know this? History is a good predicter of future events. Think about it, people have been saying this for eons.. actually Jesus said he would return in 'their' lifetime but he didn't. Think of all the calamities over the centuries in which people just like you made the same claims but nothing happened. Believing it will happen does not mean it will.

I always ask people if they can give me the definition of believe, faith, repentance and contrite heart. 9 times out of 10 they can't. So then I explain all of these to them. Then as I am ending my conversation, I ask if they are going to have a conversation with God, trust him and repent for offending God. If I get a yes, than I ask when. Then I suggest that they do it before the day is over and ask if they will. If I get a yes, then I say Praise the Lord and I expect to see them at the gates of heaven one day. Then I give them some information of what we just talked about with my salvation story. I also include some really good preacher videos, including yours to get them started in the discipling process. Ray I would love to see your cartoon tracts and video include the definitions I mentioned above. What do you think.

@@Lerian_V NO WHERE in the Bible does it say JESUS CHRIST taught to confess your sins to a Priest. Maybe in the desert to AARON during the Exodus but that is it. HE taught Repentance to GOD and being born again, being Baptised in Faith. Did David "confess on his knees to Nathan?" NO, he prayed to GOD. Read the Psalms.
