I was a heavy motor head fan myself before Jesus placed me on the winning side. Then was sad to think of so many who sang along and never knew Jesus. I pray my metal head friends will all come to a true faith on Jesus and his blood he shed for us.

@@Chemosh418 Jesus died on the cross to cover our sins. He rose from the dead on the 3rd day and is now sitting at the Right hand of the Father in Heaven. He paid a debt you and I owe that we can’t pay and reconciled us to the Father. There’s life in blood. Without blood we cannot live. That’s why a sacrifice was needed constantly for the atonement for our sins. Jesus was the ultimate sacrifice. Now there is no more sacrifice for sin. He paid it all with His life giving blood. That’s why He said He’s the bread of life and to eat of His body and drink of His blood. He didn’t mean to literally eat Him. He meant come to Him the bread of life like God gave the children of Israel, the Manna in the wilderness for forty years. Oxygen runs through blood to every part of our body. His blood is life. That’s what He meant at the last supper when He instituted the communion. We eat the flat bread and drink the wine in remembrance of Him. FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON THAT WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE. John 3:16. Jesus said “You must be born again” born of water and Spirit to enter the kingdom of God. We are all sinners. There’s not one who hasn’t sinned except Jesus Christ. The law could not save us bc if we break one commandment we break them all. The Law is there to show us how much we need a Savior. Jesus kept the Law perfectly. He never sinned and therefore He is qualified to forgive our sins and give us the Holy Spirit to help us live through Him. He died in our place so we can live. He said “ there’s no greater love than one should lay down His life for another” and that’s what He did on the cross. He could have called in legions of angels to save Him but instead He laid down His life so we can live. It is the devil who accuses Him that way but He loved you so much He didn’t say a word and was obedient unto death on a cross. God could have saved His son but found it good that Jesus would take for us what we deserved so we can have eternal life. There’s life beyond this physical body and world. One day we will physically die and will go either to heaven or hell, it’s our choice. God said He puts before us LIFE and death and to choose LIFE. Jesus is the life giving blood sacrifice for our sin past present and future. By His death and resurrection we are healed and when this physical body dies we are immediately in the presence of the Lord Jesus. God gave Him all authority to Judge the world, if we choose Jesus Christ and His gift of Grace through faith in Him we will live just as the thief on the cross next to Him did that very day. Jesus said to him, “today you shall be with me in paradise”. It takes blind faith through grace to believe what you can’t see but know is their. Jesus said blessed are those who believe what they can’t see bc there were people who saw Him and His miracles and still didn’t believe and then there’s those ( US) who haven’t seen Him but believe and therefore we receive and are blessed. Pray, ask Him to reveal Himself to you. Listen for the voice calling to your heart and answer Him then your eyes will be opened. You’ll feel the greatest love and joy of your life. I pray you seek Him and are saved.

By God's spirit Jesus was born a man as foretold in Isaiah chapter 7. Under the law of Moses animal (lambs & goats & bulls) & food sacrifice was required for remittance of man's sins. Man under Moses' law was required by God to do this multiple times a year to fulfill the needs and demands of the Law of Moses given by God and other laws of sin. Man was born in sin, right? Have you heard Jesus is the lamb of God? Jesus committed no sins, you believe that? So, he died in our place, and God sacrificed Jesus as sin to give us a new nature to live daily in consciously of. Jesus was the lamb of God at Passover. Jesus says in John chapters 14-16 that he must be sacrificed and go away from his disciples, so by the power of God, he could be resurrected a new being: a spiritual being and bring them to himself. God is Spirit and man cannot worship God now or after death unless we received of God's spirit. And in order for that to happen we would be "reborn" by the spirit Jesus was given by God when he entered into heaven after his resurrection. Jesus sends the Holy Spirit to be within those who believe on/ in Jesus's name (as the only son of God). That's why Jesus needed to die, he was born for that end and he knew that. Jeuss wants you to know that it was foretold and wants you to believe what He said.

I tried to teach my son to read lyrics to songs & told him to pay attention to the beliefs of the performers. It's so obvious these days, it's hard to miss. I use to like certain songs until I actually paid attention to the lyrics. They do it right in our faces but we don't always see it.

I believe and perk up when I'm subjected to 80s music whenever the band Mike and the Mechanics are being played Pay close attention to the lyrics in Silent Running (On Dangerous Ground), specifically the 2nd verse. One of their other hits All I Need is a Miracle, well the hint is in the title, and the music video though very 80s tells a good moral tale. U2 clearly praises Jesus in With or Without You, in the 3rd verse. I came of age in the 90s, being born in 1982 I was subject to a lot of 80s music and have a knack for remembering what I hear. 80s and 90s has a lot of bad stuff musically. I will perk up in a public situation where I have to hear that music, at the store or something, if there's a bit of praise that slips through the cracks. ;)

I just stick to classical/orchestral, house/trance. Nice melodies and beats, usually no lyrics (and if they do it's usually some generic stuff like about love and so on). Anything on the radio/mainstream radio is junk, not only from a lyrical perspective, but even a musical one!

I've gone from alternative, hard rock, heavy metal and some classic rock (Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith), etc. There where two radio stations in my area that I loved listening to growing up, one was 80s and current day (90s). alternative, the other was a combination classic rock and current day rock (also 90s). My cd collection was a reflection of those tastes. Like you, I turned away from that stuff. I used to like Alice In Chains for example, but now when I hear Man In the Box in a public situation, I will pray silently when I used to love the song and a lot of Alice in Chains music. AIC needs Jesus, so does Motorhead.

@@OneMessiahJesus Listen to some Mike and the Mechanics, particularly the song Silent Running. The band was a side project from one or two of the members from Genesis. While Genesis wasn't a Christian band, Mike is, and his side project put some Christian influence into the 80s mainstream.

I really need to avoid listening to too much loud rock music, even from Christian bands like Skillet, I have sensitive hearing with moderate tinnitus, not aided by the fact that I used to listen to a lot of said music.. I will tend for bands and artists like Big Daddy Weave, Mercy Me, Cory Asbury (Rebuked and left Bethel church and is no longer under recording contract with them), etc.

Please pray for my son, mother and husband know Lord Jesus us Lord and only savior, repent of sins and be born again….🙏🏻

God of the Bible is not a genie in a bottle at our command, Sometimes God waits to answer our prayers because He trusts us to make the right decision. Other times, God requires us to patiently wait for an answer so we can build our faith and trust in Him. And on some occasions, God gives us answers, but they may not be what we'd hoped for.

Why not simply show them strong, logical evidence of a god? To me it seems obvious the main reason for non-belief in a god is nobody has a good reason to believe in a god (ie nobody has strong evidence).

It wasnt until i was born again that i was able to see just how common satan is in the things around us. Because of this i was a very easy target for satan to attack. Now he can not attack me and i see his tricks everywhere. Im certainly not perfect and do still fail to see some of his tricks and temptations but i also know that every day with Christ i will become better at recognizing sin and tyrning from it. I know that if i do stumble God will pick ne back up, dust me off, and next time i will be better able to avoid sin. I know Christ is actively transforming me and i am incredibly happy and thankful He is. Thank you Jesus for saving me, a wretch and washing ne clean of my sins.

Pray for my family, too, please, to get a super strong desire for truth and have no peace until they’ve cried out for forgiveness of sin and turned to Christ as Lord. Thank-you, very much.

God really wanted to make sure we know that we have completely failed Him. But we are being judged by His righteousness, not ours. Because he lived his life on earth perfectly and kept all the commandments.

@bobloblaw4102 prayers are always answered. Just not how we want all the time. You need to understand that many people (majority) in our world are heading to hell unfortunately. “Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it.” (Matthew 7:13-14) But this doesn't stop me from praying for or sharing the Gospel with anyone. Each day that Jesus doesn't come back is another day someone can coke to Jesus and believe.

No one comes to the Son unless the Father draws him. I was exposed to the gospel numerous times before God called my name and brought me to salvation. That was 35 years ago. I’ll be 69 in August. I wasn’t saved until I was 33 years old. To God be the glory.

Stefan, Praise the Lord on your decision to accept Jesus as your Savior!!!! It’s the most important decision you will ever make. I totally agree with the other commentator: find full gospel, Bible believing church that focuses on the word of God. Now days it takes a little church shopping to locate one but DO NOT get discouraged. Remember all that glitters is not gold and there are some shiny, deceptive ones out there. If you want o listen to some SOLID Bible teachings between visits I HIGHLY recommend Tiff Shuttlesworth . He is one of the most level, no nonsense ,straight shooting teacher of God’s word. He has teachings on just about every subject of not only sin but of the blessings given exclusively to God’s own. Another preacher of the word is the late David Wilkerson whose church is still going strong in Time Square NY city. His sermons are on KZread . His ability to rightly divide the word of God is amazing and are just as current as when he preached them, because the word of God never changes. JesusChrist is the same yesterday and today and forever. Hebrews 13:8. I challenge you start today. Yes , as a new convert satan will now hound you and try to lure you back into sin but you have something in side you greater than satan and every imp in hell … the power of our living God. For greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. 1 John 4:4 You will be successful in your walk but you must feed you soul on the word of God by reading it and being in prayer . Remember …… Psalm 34:17 The righteous cry out and the Lord hears. And delivers them out of all their troubles. He will hear( another promise to you) and help you but you must do your your part too , just ask He is waiting with open arms and ready to bestow wisdom to you. That is the problem dear one... It is up to our precious King to HELP YOU overcome.. WE CANNOT do it on our own, so no need to keep "trying".. Go back to our Father/Jesus in prayer and ask for help in stopping you sinning. You MUST also CONFESS your sin DIRECTLY to Jesus and ask His forgiveness and cleansing to keep the window open to HIS HELP only. It is an ongoing process for all..until His return. Lean on HIM ALONE, He expects us ALL to be asking Him for help. The more we confess our sin, the more He will help us with repentance. But we need to recognise each sin and bring it to HIM, so He knows we know what we need help with and ask boldly for His assistance in overcoming. Hope this helps? Please also clean your environment. Get rid of anything not of God. Books, movies, pictures, music, statues, company that will block you. Keep the door WIDE OPEN to His blessings and answered prayers. Get to know Him via the bible and have direct relationship with HIM, one on one. Be blessed...

Thanks for this! Remembering that response to 'Innocent..because God forgives!' when asked about guilt on judgment day - that is, "If you were innocent you wouldn't need forgiveness." Quite a few folks I've met try to spin to 'innocence' when that question is presented. I'm not sure exactly why - perhaps a desire to not think too deeply about judgment day or guilt - but I do know it's so that they can 'justify themselves' rather than admit to 'falling short' (Rom 3:23) as God's Word notes. But unless we realize we're drowning, we'll not care about the life preserver until it's too late. --- It can be hard, don't get me wrong. But Christians reading: seek to share Christ. Even if it's in some small way - pray about it, and try to point folks to the Savior. The same Great Commission wherein He commanded us to "Go" also has His promise to be with us. And 2 Kings 7:3-16 comes to mind as a good example.

Lemmy Kilmeister from the band Motorhead wrote a song called,"When the Sky Comes Looking for You". He wrote it after he was diagnosed with terminal cancer. The lyrics show that Lemmy knew he was a sinner, and was not right with G-d.

Forgive me Father for not being more like Ray on sharing the Gospel. Lost people just make me mad 😡 to not to accept your precious Son. John 3:36 I know I wouldn’t die for unbelievers but your Son did. Thank You Lord for being my Lord and Savior.

The obvious rebels tend to make us perturbed because we now know the foolishness of it, but looking at them through the eyes of Jesus-their worth in Christ makes the difference! None of us our worthy …BUT…we do have worth to Jesus! Enough that he suffered and died for each, that we can gave the “unspeakable gift of eternal life” with him for “pleasures forevermore”!

Ray, I have noticed that there is such a veil over peoples eyes. Almost nobody reveals their true selves.. everybody has hidden themselves and it’s almost like looking at a cardboard cut out with the occasional peep through. To me it's like people are into living through a keyhole. They conduct their lives through the screen on their phone, and the limitations of it fall away one by one. Then it's like they're going through life with a gunny sack over their heads. I find myself becoming like this and try to limit it.

Secular music is the best though. Christian music is awful.

I was given good advice years and years ago: anything you put above God is an idol. If you just don’t want to go to Church because you want to sleep in, you’re making sleep your idol. I’m guilty of doing that in my teens especially.

What if the thing you put above God is truth itself? Personally I think that's absolutely corrosive to belief in a god, because we don't have good reason to think any gods exist...but if a god really existed, then they should weather that threat unchanged. Yet they can't. Even on this channel, if you publicly explain why Comfort's arguments are illogical he'll sometimes come along and personally censor them (not merely the KZread censorship that's kinda common nowadays either, I'm quite familiar with that; this is an immediate censor right after Ray directly replies to a comment; happened twice, and of course neither time did he try addressing the mistake. So the idea didn't survive truth as a priority.)

Caleb, God healed me of an incurable disease 9 years ago. The doctors at Duke and UNC are still scratching their heads . I know by HIS stripes we ARE healed, not maybe, or perhaps but WE ARE. Its so sad....you can feel the disdain in that young man Adrian. Its like something switched at the end and he was offended. Hes going to dismiss the seeds of salvation? Really? I just dont understand the lost. And when i hear them(the ones that are resistant to Ray's preaching)say hell doesn't bother them if they were to end up there,....like WHAT??? Its heartbreaking that the lost have NO clue what eternity actually is. Its difficult to comprehend for any of us. Hell is isolated torment, a place of utter darkness but burning torment at the same time. It won't be a party with your friends and the devil. Listen to what the eich man was begging Lazarus for....a drop of water because the flames were agonizing. He felt physical pain. Jesus says Himself that there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Lets pray for Adrian, that the LORD draws him to Himself. 🙏🏻

😢 Please pray for my whole family especially my two brothers to turn back to Christ. For my mother and I are the only ones who take God seriously. My father and brothers go to church only when my mother brings it up. I see my older and younger brother fast asleep during church service, which is a let-down for both me and for God. They’re all grown up, but once they hit puberty their faith faded away and wanted to fit in with the rest of the world. Back in the 90s we were always told, “No sex before marriage.” But as time went on premarital sex became a thing and virgin adults are made fun of. My younger brother began smoking, and my older brother is an alcoholic. My brothers need to be reminded of the love of God and His moral laws by angelic beings such as Ray Comfort or Frank Turek to help God restore their faith.

That's nice. I am also a follower of Jesus Christ but my background is Mennonite. We do take off from work go to church, and learn from that day, and after that, be with families or whatever you want I was not sure how this day is called in English

Could you live your life doing the same things that you earned death sentence for doing and not give a flying flip thought to the person who died for you? A stone heart doesn’t care. Well most people knew the game, when you sign a contact with your blood, and no bell goes off in your head… your just not smart enough to make the connection 😈

Ray is INCORRECT that death and dying are the same thing. A person can be afraid of dying…..for obvious reasons……pain, weakness, loss of motor skills, etc., etc. But, not be afraid of actual death because……once it has happened, it has HAPPENED. So, two very different things. As a personal thought, I am a strong Christian. I have no fear of DEATH . However, I do “ fear “ how it comes about. Will I suffer, have pain, have great weakness, or loss of motor skills , be a burden on my family, etc. So, “ getting there “ vs “ being there “ are two different things.

Strange thing , when I listen to stuff on the radio , that I knew it wasn't about Jesus , I applied those lyrics to be about my lord , with focusing it being all about him by change a word or two as if to sing to my lord .. Like the band " Alice in Chains" the song , man in the box .. By adding Christ as my Lord a savior , not how they reject him in the song .. Never cared for the lyrics that much , But to change it more to a salvation way , I do this with a lot of songs song by different Artist .. And the spirit of God gets my past their twisted message .. They simple know not what they do , they are lead by a lie of darkness .. But anything that is dark , can have light brought into it by our Lord Jesus Christ that dead for our sins ..

Lemmy Kilmeister was the lead singer of Motörhead. I hope Mr. Comfort sees this but there was a time in Lemmy’s life that he was going to be a Priest. I’m not to up on Catholicism but Lemmy died about 3 years or so ago as did their drummer who had an extremely pornographic name he went by. I walked away from a major label record deal because it just didn’t line up with the gospel and the lifestyle I wanted to raise my 5 sons in. I did play with Tyler Bates in 1981. Google his name to see everything he’s done and the reason I left that band called NO MERCY prior to me becoming a Christian. He’s played with Marilyn Manson until his label dropped him for sexual assault allegations. Then he joined Alice In Chains with the only original member because the rest of the band had overdosed on heroin. But he’s score 300, The Social Network, all of the John Wicks, Day and Dawn of the Dead, Guardians of the Galaxy, etc. I never was a drinker or a smoker but I’ve had so many surgeries that I’m not functioning right now and I’m only 60. But I would be dead like some of my own band mates are or people we shared a billing with are. This is the only way I share the gospel now. I want to thank you for your dedication to reaching the lost. “Let another one praise you.”

I'm sad for Adrian and praying for him. I remember how seductive that satanic music was to me a few years ago and literally worshiped the bands. I couldn't have imagined leaving them behind, but I did. There's plenty of hope for Adrian. I pray the Lord will work a miracle in his heart and change his mind.

Taking the name of the Lord in vain is blasphemy. We all do it. It can even be talking about the Lord, when we know we have sin in our heart. Blasphemy agaist the Holy Spirit is outright turning away from the Spirits conviction. It's called hardening your heart. This is very scary. The lost person says another day when God is knocking.

Hope Lemmy and that drummer were saved before death! Love these guys!
