Homeless are people too, I once met a homeless and said hi and talked to him. He broke down and started to cry and he told me that nobody talks to him. It was a very moving moment for me that I'll never forget.

I volunteer with a clothing and food bank that serves mostly unhoused friends. I've learned to look them in the eye, exchange names, and ask if we can pray for them. It's uncomfortable at first but that quickly goes away. We've been so blessed as we serve. Thank you for this video and for your ministry. 💖🙏🙏

I was homeless for many years now God has blessed with a homeless ministry and equipping and training churches to do the same. Sharing the Gospel is not preaching. You don't have to know the person to share it. It's the greatest love story and show.the homeless people how God values them. I usually share the Gospel within the first 5 minutes and then the Foundation for a relationship has been built in Christ. Just something to think about.

They may have some reservations about Christ because of their situation. Please don't try to ram Christ down their throats but rather be Christ to them. Another thing I found out while homeless is that there are a lot of serious Christians out there. This says something about the state of our churches since the Bible tells us that what we do to others we are doing to Christ. There ought never to be a separation between the Christians of the church and homeless Christians . Please also bear in mind the difficulty of the homeless. Their lives are completely about survival. Being hated, some seriously separated from their families and shamed, breathing polluted air, exhaustion and many other issues that the average person has no idea about. Not being able a lot of time to stay clean, lack of public restrooms because park restrooms are often locked, and businesses completely lock them out. I'm afraid we are next. Buy a tent now.💓🐑 And here is some humor: when I became homeless I found out that I wasn't going to die if I didn't have a shower everyday. 🐑

The one thing about this video is there treating people who are homeless like I have to prepare to go talk to them they're just people just like you as a matter of fact all people are equal except for in different circumstances so you don't have to prepare to go talk to a homeless person just talk to him like you talk to anybody else or better yet ask yourself how you'd want to be treated if you were in that situation that's the way you treat them very simple I don't have to go through a big long presentation to go talk to somebody

I see your point, if you do it just to feel good about yourself, or to try to earn your way to heaven, it's deceptive. But I don't think it's deceptive in and of itself. You are sharing the love of Christ and letting your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. We should do what is within our means but also aspire to the standards Jesus gave us: be ye perfect. Meaning if we can invite the poor, lame, crippled and blind to our banquet, we should.

Doing good shouldn’t be shared typically, that is true, but if it is shared, it doesn’t mean it’s prideful. I’m homeless for Christ, like John, Phillip, David, Isaiah, Jeremiah. I don’t want people to treat me like a human, I’d like them to love me as Christ does, which would be rebuking my misdeeds. There’s a lot wrong with most channels that claim to be for Christ, lips profess Him, but their hearts are far from him

Is better give the homeless a free Job ,not giving them a food, they can't survive only one day for one meal ,but is about how they can survive for a year and long-term,is better giving them a job such as work in the supermarket, cleaning the garden, cleaning services, cleaning streets, etc as long as they can eat, and survive, and have a free little dormitory, so they can rest and take a shower to clean themselves and also giving free medication. Is time to change their mindset. We can't depend the government help, only the pure true people who trust in Jesus that can help them. Suffering, Poverty, Starving, Broken home, it doesn't come from God but Circle of Hell (demonic), the world is pure Evil, because God threw away the fallen Angels on Earth. The Earth is already corrupted. These homeless people need the prayers, so with that they can change their lifes.

The reason their experience is different than ours is because the general society hates them. We have allowed this to happen in our country, forgetting that these people are our mothers and fathers, sisters and brothers, aunts and uncles, and children. In a wealthy country as ours supposedly is, homelessness is a travesty brought about by evil and greed. If you think you are better than the homeless, you had better buy a tent right now! I speak from personal experience of homelessness. Another thing I found out is that there is less corruptnesd and evil doing in the homeless community than there is in our own treasonous government.💓🐑

In principle, there is much good about this. But please let me say one crucial thing here, and don't take me wrong. Those who are enduring under Homelessness Crisis are not a separate species. They are NOT "The Homeless". These are human beings no different than anyone else. The are people who this has HAPPENED TO, and it is NOT THEIR IDENTITY. And, please with a due respect, reassess the statement you make in the beginning about people being somehow homeless inside before it ever happens in practical terms to them. That is toxic beyond belief. And it is not correct. While there are a percentage of those in that situation who are there because of drug/criminal activity, the largest part of the population who are unhoused are from a whole scope of circumstances such as being sick/disabled, elderly, moms and kids fleeing abuse, those upended by societal/govt malfeasance during Pandemic, veterans, crime victims, throwaway teens.....and many others from situations as diverse as humanity is. In a nutshell, our society is falling apart and our government is not righteous. This is part of the result of that dynamic. When I heard that statement about people being something inside before homeless my stomach rolled. How awful.....it brought a tear to my eye. You look like nice young people, and I hope you listen to what I've said and pray on this before you continue your ministry. Those who are homeless, for the most part, aren't carrying "some secret sin". They are victims in a crisis and deserve decent treatment.

Totally 100%🎯!!! However, if I may offer a rebuttal. I think what they were meaning - at least how I took it - is these people were already falling through the cracks before they wound up on the streets. They probably had shaky relationships with family and very few, if any, friends. Not because they're bad or have something wrong with them, but because our society is so fractured, so self-absorbed, that people find it hard to connect with anybody anymore, and I think a lot of times people end up homeless because they don't have that support system to keep them from falling all the way to the bottom. It speaks to a real need, a real deficiency, in our society when people can just turn away from those in need, treat them as less than human, and just leave them to fend for themselves. It may be uncomfortable to deal with cuz you don't know what to do, but like they said, just simply being kind to these folks who are all too often ignored can go a long way!😊

Don't get me wrong. My faith is unwavering but I don't allow it to cloud my views. I'm not trying to challenge you but instead persuade you to think a little. Helping the homeless and attempting to find a solution is a big undertaking. It's a problem that includes an entire range of people. Many of which will avoid religious aid at all costs and in turn miss out on something that may have saved there life but instead went and had that last fix and OD all because that free meal they heard about ended up being a religious gathering in there eyes so they said forget that... I had to go to church for 9 weeks once because it was court mandated. Yea I couldn't believe that was legal. I didn't have a problem with it but most did. Most people didn't come and just wound up back in jail but the few that did only came for a day and just gave up because everything was being forced upon them. That's the problem. If your going to help someone then help them but don't sneak in anything on them because as soon as you offer help and then try to sneak in what you believe and offer your personal remedy it becomes not sincere no matter how badly you want it to be sincere.

People just feel insecure and awkward. So instead of doing anything, they look away. And that's the hardest of all, isn't it? When you are obviously in need of help and people don't bother to even look at you. For they simply don't know what to do. So it's okay to listen and learn from each other. But we also know, there are some dangerous neighborhoods and some dangerous people out there. We must not ignore those facts! If I were homeless, I'd liked to be helped the only way that helps: be homed. Now. Today. If need be in a garage or basement with access to a toilet. At least. Am I far off, according to you?

@@gardenjoy5223 - This comment is addressed to @gardenjoy5223 and @jesusiskingofkingslordoflo6727. The condescension in the video is unintentional. Using the phrase, "the homeless" is exactly like saying, "how to approach tigers in the wild." What is missing here is any kind of categorization of the homeless population. There are long-term homeless persons whose mental and medical history includes chronic illnesses like addiction and dementia. There are recently homeless persons whose current circumstances reflect impersonal social trends like the collapse of the housing market, a sudden layoff, the closing of a business, the transfer of key positions in an industry. There are homeless former bankers with MBA degrees. Class, status, and education cannot guarantee protection from "life." The phrase "the homeless" does not recognize any of the nuanced, stair-step realities that affect a general population. There are recently homeless persons from the unemployed middle class who will not go into a shelter because shelters can be as dangerous as the sidewalks of the city streets. The video means well and tries to "do the right thing," but its advice is hampered by ignorance about the complexity of the problem. And that ignorance reveals the fact that the producers of the video have never been homeless.

@jesusiskingofkingslordoflo6727 - This comment is addressed to @gardenjoy5223 and @jesusiskingofkingslordoflo6727. Can you guys make a video called "encountering annoying religious people who want you in their cult and they keep coming to my tent early in the morning because they think yelling and one sandwich will somehow get me to join they're cult"

I understand how you feel about people approaching you with an unwelcome agenda. If you're sleeping in a tent on the streets your behavior suggests a need for help or assistance, meaning the streets aren't a camping site and this condition isn't a normal expectation in America. In fact, it's regarded as a growing problem. As you may have considered, the people who approached you weren't intentionally a nuisance, but planned to be a benefit to you and society...

What did you just write? A 'stepping stone to heaven'? What's that supposed to mean. These people ARE saved already. They don't need to 'do' anything to 'deserve' heaven, since people just can't. But once you've tasted how good the Lord is, you want to reach out to others and help them find what you found. If there's a soup kitchen with excellent meals, how'd you feel when I kept it a secret from you? You'd be angry with me, since you clearly would benefit from it. You'd think I was selfish keeping vital information from you. How much more with the banquet hall in heaven? All are loved and all are to be invited. In the meantime, based on some contact, we might actually be able to help you on earth as well. Seems you assume a lot here, but know little. Give others a break.

You obviously don't know Him yet. Pray to Him, that He will reveal Himself to you as He is: God indeed. "If we receive the testimony of people, the testimony of God is greater; for the testimony of God is this, that He has testified concerning His Son. The one who believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself; the one who does not believe God, has made Him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has given concerning His Son. And the testimony is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. The one who has the Son has the life; the one who does not have the Son of God does not have the life." Bible, 1 John 5: 9-12 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him not even one thing came into being that has come into being. In Him was life, and the life was the Light of mankind. And the Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not grasp it. A man came, one sent from God, and his name was John. He came as a witness, to testify about the Light, so that all might believe through him. He was not the Light, but he came to testify about the Light. This was the true Light that, coming into the world, enlightens every person. He was in the world, AND THE WORLD CAME INTO BEING THROUGH HIM, and yet the world did not know Him. He came to His own, and His own people did not accept Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name, who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of a man, but of God. And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us; and we saw His glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. John testified about Him and called out, saying, “This was He of whom I said, ‘He who is coming after me has proved to be my superior, because He existed before me.’” For of His fullness we have all received, and grace upon grace. For the Law was given through Moses; grace and truth were realized through Jesus Christ. No one has seen God at any time; God the only Son, who is in the arms of the Father, He has explained Him." Bible, Gospel of John 1: 1-18 "Now there was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews; this man came to Jesus at night and said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that You have come from God as a teacher; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.” Jesus responded and said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless someone is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a person be born when he is old? He cannot enter his mother’s womb a second time and be born, can he?” Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless someone is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which has been born of the flesh is flesh, and that which has been born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not be amazed that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ Bible, Gospel of John 3: 1-7 After Jesus Christ had died for our sins and rose again on the third day, He sent the Holy Spirit to lead those, who believe in Him. Peter was one of those. In Acts 2: 38 he explains, how this being born again of the Spirit can come about: "Peter said to them, “Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." Without this, you will not be able to even SEE the Kingdom of God, let alone ENTER it. You are in the dark and blaspheming God, that He isn't able to keep the Bible in good order and you say that Jesus is a prophet, but you do anything to silence Him and function as an antichrist. Repent of this or be lost forever. Just because a very obvious FALSE prophet Mohammad lied to you and many others, why would you follow him to eternal punishment?! Why receive the testimony of Muhammad, who was a murderer, robber, enslaver, child molester, rapist, sex addict and traitor? Are you out of your mind to follow someone like that?!? Stop repeating the lies of the devil and his prophets. Start actually listening to Jesus Christ! All your works are but filthy rags to God. HE appointed a way for you to be saved, and this is through His only begotten SON Jesus Christ. You don't have the real Jesus, means you don't have life!
