In 1983, I was an unsaved wreck. I received a Bible from a man who worked for CBN. I remember smoking weed & cigarettes while reading the Bible. Jesus loves everyone and everyone has to start somewhere. 👍🏾

Thank you for your faithful witnessing, Ray Comfort. I initially professed faith while on drugs, despite being an atheist at the time. When I shared my new faith with friends the next day, they dismissed it and said I was just hallucinating. The experience caused me to give up drugs permanently (because I realized I couldn't tell between reality and fantasy) and to seek the truth. After a month of diligently investigating every world religion I could find, I finally trusted in Jesus and was born again on June 20, 2012. I praise God He had mercy on me in the midst of my darkest wanderings!

Hi there - In 2012 I turned to Christ in the midst of heavy drug addiction. He transformed my heart, gave me a deep desire for God, I repented from my addictions and he gave me a new life. I fell in love with Jesus because of his rescue, spritually and in my life. However, I ended up relapsing and have struggled with drugs again on andoff in my Christian walk. I still believe and try to draw close to him, regardless of the season, and He has blessed me with a wife, a home, and an awesome job designing churches (architecture).. But my work and blessings aren't evidence of my salvation, just Gods blessing and transformative work.. but I still struggle with marijuana!I am so frustrated by it and it causes much inner turmoil. Jesus, help me give it up for you. I know you saved me by your blood Lord God, thank you

"There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ." Romans 8 :1. I've never had a problem quitting cannabis but that's just me. Usually its a day of being in a bad mood and fine the next. Unless it becomes a crutch or gets in the way of other things, I wouldn't stress too bad. Jesus drank wine and alcohol kills hundreds of thousands every year. Cannabis 0. If you are feeling condemned, repeat that scripture to yourself. That's why the word of God is called the "sword of the spirit". It's our defense against intrusive thoughts and this world's system.

Please don’t use that to justify drinking which is most definitely not okay. Also smoking anything, cigarettes or other, are a sin. I used to street wittnes when I was younger. I literally witnessed to people in a drunken stupor. To my surprise and theirs God miraculously sobered them up only to be saved. Never underestimate the power of God in the gospel!

Ask me to calculate something right now, and I will with great ease. I am way better at math than Ray is. No doubt in my mind. So to me Ray is just as dumb as the 'stoner' is to Ray. Now, do I go around telling the world all Christians are dumb? -because I interviewed ONE person who's truly dumb and happens to be a Christian? No. No, because that's a stereotype. That's ignorance. The thing about it is when you're witnessing to somebody. No matter what their situation is and if they're high or not high if there are sound mind or not it's, the Holy Spirit that intercedes and speaks to them that causes them to turn to the Lord. Praise God

Continue to serve him faithfully. If you are not attending a church pray about it. God will place it in your mind where to go. You will feel this conviction to go there. When you surrender yourself 100%. Body, Soul, and Spirit. Begin to watch what he does around you. He loves you so much. Scripture reminds us if they had only known, they would never have crucified him because God is Love. I would always listen to him. If you ever had this thing that just popped into your head like a solution to some problem. Always check to make sure it is from him. You will know it for sure because the results will be good. That is God speaking to you. I didn't realize this until after I was saved. He reminds us in the Book of Hebrews that he rewards those who diligently seek him. Diligence means pursuing him with excellence. If you went to a Doctor who would you prefer to operate on you? Someone who has a 28% average or someone who gets 80% or better. Jesus surpassed even this effort. The things he accomplished were not even written down in medical journals. It is why Doctors will tell you when you have been diagnosed with a serious cancer. You need a miracle. I have seen this so often in my walk with him. He's done so many things for me around me. Keep reading your bible. Go to bible study if you need help. Make sure they teach on the Trinity (God The Father, God The Son, God The Holy Spirit) and give glory only to Jesus. He visited my home in the Spring of 2021. I did not even know it was him. He told me I would soon know who this face belonged to that appeared in my home one night after waking up on my couch. I have never asked him for much outside of his guidance in my life. Just to help me walk a Christian life. Sure enough several weeks later I was surfing KZread and I came across this video of an 8-year-old Old Girl who had painted this masterpiece of Jesus. It is by far the best painting out there today. Even better than Michaelangelo. How do I know? It looks like a photograph. You can even see down to the strands of hair on his face. His flesh tones are remarkable. This young lady undoubtedly painted the best picture of him. She had the vision when she was only 4 years old. Others have also come forward telling of their encounters. Including NDE where they saw his face. They confirm the face in this painting is the same face they also saw. I recently spoke to a lady from Africa who told me her friend was home one-day having prayer in her home. She was also visited by Jesus and she confirmed to me that this is the face she saw. I showed her the video. It is now owned by a world-famous art collector and is worth a lot of money. Jesus loved Children and placed his faith in them like a good parent would for their child to encourage them to do better. Jesus was only a boy when he was in the temple speaking to the temple priest about the scrolls (Scripture) The temple priests were amazed at his ability to know the scrolls. In Matthew 5: 48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect. He reminded me about this story. If you were buying a new car would you be happy if you paid 60,000 for your vehicle and they brought you one out with scratches all over it? No tires or windshield. Of course not! This is why we offer God our very best. God knows we will not get it immediately at times. We are to aim for it. Be the best at what God gives you to do. Then watch the blessings that will follow with it. I just finished living a life of A Modern Day Job for him. I have seen so many things that even go beyond human understanding. I asked him one day why I was seeing so many miracles. I did not want to appear like I was Lording it over anyone. I needed to know in case someone asked me. He said, Your answer is in the bible already. It is found in the Book of Hebrews. I reward those who diligently seek me. You have been obedient. He reminded me if he did it any other way he would be lying. God does not lie. He is also very intelligent. Remember you are dealing with the one who created everything. When I saw the video there were two differences In my home. He wore a different robe and his face was lit up more. Akiane in another video explains why she painted it that way. He did this so the devil would not come by later and try to tell me all I saw was this video. Keep pressing on as a Christian. Jesus loves you so much he wants to see you excel in life and be so blessed. Make time in your day with prayer. Go to your room or someplace where you can converse in prayer with him. Then stand back and watch what he can do for you. As long as you are doing your part he will do his part. Ray has succeeded because he loves the Lord. Walking a Christian Life is the same thing as walking. You may get a few scratches and bruises until you master it all with his help. I will attach the video of the face I saw. He told me later why he did not show up until 27 years later. How many Chapters in the New Testament? There are 27. One for every year I served him. I was curious as to why he had 39 Chapters in the Old Testament and 27 in the New Testament. He said What is 3 X 9? See the 3 and 9 like 39. He multiplied it like he performed the miracle with the loaves and the fishes. I have never ever been to seminary. I am not speaking against doing this in life. I learned it from obeying and listening to him. He showed me this verse recently. It is found in Jeremiah 33:3. See all the threes like the Trinity. He is showing how it works here. Jeremiah 33:3 ‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’ Unsearchable things mean it is not even written down and you cannot find it. So you have to be asking him. He will tell you. Always wait on his timing. He will reveal it if he wants you to know things. You always have to be seeking him daily. He did not show up until 27 years later. I have seen so much in my life. He will also show you things along your journey. In scripture, Jesus often converses with the Father for answers. He called on him. You see this explanation in Jeremiah. He is now in Heaven with his Heavenly Father interceding on our behalf. It is why we have to pray to him as pointed out in Jeremiah. Call on him. Every person is different in their walk. Your faithfulness to him is what makes the difference in life. He sees and knows everything you do. My latest revelation from him. He gave me evidence that he knew my thoughts long before I was even born. I have the physical evidence to prove it. I have had publishers wanting me to write my book. They have been pressuring me. God told me no not yet. I am so glad I listened to him. Had I gone ahead I would not have had this evidence that he showed me that occurred 27 years ago to write in my book. I was so awed by what he showed me. He used another Christian who had similar situations in life to show me my miracle. I had read his book years ago and I could not put it down. It was so amazing the things he experienced in life. This guy is no slouch in life. He buys land for Walmart. I first found out about him through this Christian Miracle Channel I always watch. He has real-life encounters with individuals who have had miracles in their life. I was invited to go on his show. God said not yet. I now know why. My father-in-law was a campus minister for 20 yrs at a university in Ohio & he would do food giveaways specifically for college students walking by the campus house on their way to and from bars. He would grill hamburgers and hotdogs and pass out them out free to the college students who were normally very drunk. The food giveway lasted into the wee morning hours (2-3am) they would stop and eat and come into the campus house, we had many volunteers there to help make the food and to also witness to the college students. Students would hear the gospel even though they were drunk, and one testimony in particular he returned to the campus house when he was sober to ask more questions. Many other people have told me so many amazing encounters they had witnessing to the college students even though they were drunk. We have the greatest helper in witnessing, the Holy Spirit.

I struggled with drugs for the last 20 years, I kept falling back into it and I would always think things like "how can you even think about praying when you're doing this" or "why would you read your Bible after you've been doing this for so long?" I was convicted about my drug use but unable to escape it, I felt guilt every time I would read the Bible while high. At some point I decided to read my Bible and pray everyday and ask God to help me find a way out, I was driving and was holding on to my vape pen, in my mind's eye I visualized the word "DECIDE" I believe God gave me the strength to snap it into pieces and throw it out the window. Looking back now I can see that I was being lied to or telling myself lies, if you're in this position I would encourage you to seek God and let Him deal with the mess, people who aren't sick don't go to the Dr.'s office, I was trying to get well before going to the Dr. and I didn't have the strength or wisdom to do it.

Thanks for posting this. I am a 56 year old woman who loves Jesus and this blessed me.

Not once in the entire New Testament is a regenerate Christian (the only kind: John 1:12-13, Romans 8:9) called a "sinner". Peter distinguishes between the righteous and sinners in 1st Peter 4:18. Which one are you? Are you sure you're born again/born of the Spirit/born of God?? Whilst I'm not religious, I am very agnostic if I'm truthful. But I have learnt to follow signs..... I haven't ever subscribed to this channel, yet You Tube finds this channel in my headers quite often. I know the words in this video almost word for word! Ray, you often reply to my messages, but don't reply to everyone. Again, strange to me, but I'm always grateful you do. I think I have a knowing certainly a strange feeling of what is happening all around me. Wierd times, strange feelings. Even though I don't believe in Jesus being the son of God. I always try to repent everyday and I have almost removed all my sins from my life, still working in a couple more things, which are extremely challenging to me. I know I need to be a bit more humble and less ego. I just don't know why these things are important to me but they are. Another video I have watched all the way through, although not entirely sure why.

His peer reviewed ~40 authors of 66 books collaboratively writing in agreement for ~1600+ years, infallible (ex.2 Peter 1:19), eternal to creation (ex.John 1:1), prophetic (ex.Romans 1:26-32/2 Timothy 4:3/Matthew 24:6/1 Corinthians 1:18), historic (ex. no credible historian denies Jesus existence & His body never found, consistent w/1 Cor 15) & transcendentally/objectively moral (ex.Exodus 20/Matthew 22:37-40) Holy Word?

The “No read No Feed” rule is a really helpful way to make yourself read God’s word daily. I’ve been doing a Bible in one year challenge and with this rule I’ve been able to be far more consistent than without it

Absolutely ! High or not. I was high every day for 15 years and it really made me think deep about God when I was high. I felt conviction and thought what if I die at this moment? It scared me. I prayed for God to take the desire away ONCE and He did at that moment. Pot free forever and so glad . I loved the Lord then and knew I needed him . Im so glad Ray didn't assume this guy wouldn't get the message.

@@dustygatrell-ru7tg it's on God's timing. Not ours. I was set free from heroin, meth, coke, etc.... now I struggle with THC and kratom. (The lesser evils) But still evil. Anything put in front of God is sinful. If I love weed or kratom more than I love God, then I know it isn't for me. The flesh is weak. It takes a continual breaking down of walls, removing one block at a time. Doesn't all happen at once. Not for me anyways. Devil traps and blinds you. Especially if you see it as harmless (much like how I believed with weed), yet I still worshipped weed over worshipping the Lord. So I have to quit. It can be anything. Drugs, food, gambling, sex, money, consumerism. Depending on how strongly you are attached to whatever it is you love doing, will make it more difficult for you to overcome. Can't do it ourselves. Have to call out to God. Have to pray. Have to read His word. We must pray without ceasing, constantly striving to be with God.

I agree with you Ray, a long time ago, one of my early person I've witnessed to happen to be a drunk male. I don't remember his name due that been brief encounter. But when I started the conversation he was heavily drunk. It turned out that he was waiting for the bus and because he was still drinking while waiting for that bus. When his bus approached, he tried to get up. But due to air hitting his face he simply fell back down. I had to do a quick run down of the gospel and when we got to the prayer, I offered a prayer just like you do to ask the Father to help that man to assure the seed had landed in good soil. It was then that my bus was approaching. Little did we know, when the man had fallen down, he was so much under the influence that he could not get up. However, after that final prayer, he was able to get up easily. He was so astonished that I was already on my bus and I could see his face had changed somehow. I can only hope I'll get to see him when Jesus returns.

The beginning portion of the testimony I had to cut for in those your reply. So, I'll share it with you. When I had this spiritual encounter, I was what we know a baby Christian. I recently began to watch The Way of The Master and of course I'm honored to say, that God placed me in a Christ-centered, Bible based and true Gospel Church. As mentioned, we were both waiting for our respective buses. We did notice each other. I kept my distance, when he felt down after trying to get up, my reaction was to help him, but he waved me off so I complied to his request. After a few minutes when tried and tried to get up, he finally caved and looked at me. I asked him, "do you want me to help you?", he Said "yes". As I reached down to him, he then grabbed me hard and began to whisper, "kill me, kill me". I believe at this the Holy Spirit began to speak through me and I told him, trust to do not want to die, right now. You wouldn't like where you think you're going to. Then I began laying the gospel on him. So, it did get interesting but the Holy Spirit kept me from fear. As for me, when my bus was driving away from him. I thought within myself. "Wow, this was a major faith boost". And to the praise of God, I'm sharing this testimony.

Nothing is greater than seeing someone repent and believe in Jesus !

Ray was just like these boys when he was young. It's good to see him reach out to these young men 😊

It always touches my heart when I see the Gospel has reached someone's life. I thank the Lord that you are posting these videos.

"What's 17 and 11?" "Numbers"

One time when friends and I were praying for people on the street and witnessing of Jesus's love for them, a young man approached us for money for dinner. He was high and he had a demon. His eyes were gray and dull as if he had severe cataracts. We went to a restaurant and my two friends prayed over him. The demon left him and his eyes were perfectly clear!! He and I sat through dinner talking about Jesus, about this man's drug addiction and about his broken relationship with his father. He was totally sober throughout the meal and resolved to get back with his father and ask for forgiveness and help with his addiction.

You can always get a new bible if something were to happen to your current. There are bibles everywhere. Eeven a free one on the internet. If your home caught fire, just get out in a rush.

I am seriously struggling with "Love they neighbour as thy self". My neighbour makes it really really difficult and right now, I do not love them at all. I try not to mind them, but fail miserably. They are my achilles heal!!!!!!

I am only offering advice here, not judgement. I love GOOD Christian contemporary, The song "Less Like Me" by Zach Williams came to mind, specifically for the line; "I want to put You first above all else Love my neighbor as myself In the moments no one sees Lord, help me be" The jist of the song is that it's a first person perspective, the person struggles with himself and wants to be "A little more like Jesus, a little less like me. Maybe listening to the song and then praying will help, I don't know. I have a knack for remembering songs, I will be praying for you as well, God Bless.

Remember "love" is not "like". Our love through Christ extends to all regardless of their situation. That said there is no requirement that you have to be their friend. Depending on the circumstances that may not be possible or advisable. You may detest their behavior, attitude or whatever problem. But you see past that to be the Christian God wants you to be. Yeah it can be hard, but prayer helps a lot. I've known some pretty miserable people over the years, I wouldn't have been able to not hate them except for prayer and faith.

Your confession helps you a lot, but it would do much more if you go to your room, close the door, and confess with a prayer to our Lord.

I’d love to see these people again after they’ve encountered you on the streets. It would be great if you could give them a way to reach you or something if they ever wanted to get in touch.

I appreciate Ray’s willingness to approach people and tell them about the Bible and salvation. I like and understand his saying of no Bible no breakfast yet I did feel a little sad when he asked Leo when he last read his Bible and Leo said last week. many people can’t even say that they don’t remember when they last read it so for him to say that he read it last week and answered very quickly. I thought that was honest and not too bad.

Awesome. How prophetic also, the names of the 2 young men Leo and Israel. Leo, the Lion of Judah, and Israel in the Bible also named 'Ariel'; which means 'lion'. May Both these men come to Christ, as the Jewish people also will.

Brian Greenaway wrote his testimony in a book. Before he ever read a Bible, he says he met Christ on a drug trip telling him that He was the vine. (or something like that.) Later he found the verse in the Bible and remembered his trip.

I was high on weed when I accepted Him. A year later, He took away that addiction and others. He convicts me daily of my sin, has granted me patience and love in the process of sanctification. I have thought it all happens at once and you forfeit your relationship with Jesus if you mess up. I can promise everyone that is not the case. He and The Father are one, and He is patient with His children. He truly is The Good Shepherd.

As someone who would watch these videos stoned to the bone, I feel awfully called out

Quick question: is marijuana any more sinful than any opioid medication a doctor prescribes? While I agree and follow Paul's advice that we should be "soberminded," medical marijuana is certainly no worse than the prescription pain medications doled out to patients like candy. Maybe let's rethink how sinful MJ is intrinsically, and not condemn those who have to use this (or other medications) to treat their symptoms. Many patients would have ended their lives without this necessary medication (however, no medication should be abused or used just for "fun," either). I love you, Ray!! Keep sharing the Gospel. It's truly inspiring. And thank you, Jesus, for saving me!

If you are getting high or intoxicated by smoking marijuana, then Yes that is a Sin. If you are taking anything that doesn't get you high or intoxicated, then it wouldn't be a Sin!

I tried marijuana when i was young, and i did not like how it affected me. It was not for me. I have family members that are abusing it, and they are slaves to it. Meaning, they can't get peace without it. They are used to be smoking so much, that they can't get appetite and eat a solid meal without it. They get very deppressed without it. (Non Christians btw) However, even though i've seen first hand how it can ruin peoples lives, i can also se how it can benefit others when used in a proper way. I have seen on others that marijuana can prevent some types of migraines, epileptic seizures, nausea and side effects from chemo etc. It all depends on how and why it is used, and how much, and if it affects one's relationship with God in a bad way and leads to sinful behavior. I don't believe it should be used for deppression and anxiety. When we put our trust in Jesus, deppression and anxiety will vanish. I would say it all depends.

The ONE true CREATOR has nothing to be jealous of, For all existence is an extension of his being. All words are HIS WORDS. ALL NAMES ARE HIS NAME. ALL THINGS ARE HIS THINGS. GOD IS NOT DIVIDED. GOD IS INSIDE US.
