@@richardlong9785 I am right there with you, my friend! There's nothing better than happy music to fill the soul!! You know, after watching this video, about a year or so ago, I decided to hone my piano skills. I could already play, quite terribly, but I could play, but I decided to get good. So, I went to Goodwill and purchased a pretty decent keyboard for $9 bucks, and got cracking! In less than a year, I not only honed my piano skills, but I vastly improved my guitar, both electric and acoustic, my bass guitar and even my conga skills! My home looks like a recording studio now! But as it relates to this in particular topic, my piano has gotten pretty good. I have not truly mastered "Boogie-Woogie" style, but I've gotten pretty good at it! So, I will tell you, my friend, if you seriously have a desire to learn the piano, you can do it - I promise you! If nothing else, and I do mean nothing else, the pandemic was good for at least allowing me some time alone to practice my piano. There's a great video on KZread, which also inspired me, it's on this man, an Asian man, I only mention that in order to identify the correct video... But he decided to learn the piano and he documented his progress for a year. And after that year, he was unbelievable! You can do it!

It took me about 9 months to just learn the left hand part of this boogie...to the point of not having to think about my left hand anymore. Adding the right hand, even one note, was incredibly challenging...6 months later I can now just play some simple runs along with the left hand. And I have been playing piano for 30 years. His hand independence with speed and precision is insane!
