I've been listening to boogie woogie for decades and believe that Henri Herbert is the greatest boogie woogie pianist in the history of the genre. No one paid me to write this.

The greatest pianist of all time is Oscar Peterson, and I'm sure Henri would agree with that too. Oscar's talent was on a whole different level, but I agree Henri is a superb pianist.

In music, the moniker "the best" is like it is in cooking.....it's a matter of taste. Like the old saying, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." The "best" is in the listener's ear.

Yes I love to hear Henri play. He’s one of the best. He and Ben Toury would sound great together.

My arms would've exploded after that. I never understand how they keep up that left hand for so long!

This guy is beyond great. I listen to his music constantly. His boogies keep me young at heart.

I am 80 years old and have heard a lot of boogie-woogie in my life but Henri Herbert is by far the best I have ever heard bar none

I’m in my 30’s mate and just heard this for the first time and discovered I love brass , drums and piano music! I hate my generation and the way we live in 2023.. I’m so glad you got to experience the good old days mate. Much love from Australia

I’ve never heard anyone play piano like this guy ! Is he “The Robert Johnson Of Pianoforte” ? He has that “one man band Bass Line” going at the same time as the Rhythm Lines in the Right Hand, and talk about changing it up , and keeping it going, sheeesh. The video of him in the Mall doing the Boogie Woogie was what brought me here to watch this video. I don’t play piano in particular, but I know Amazing when I see it and here it, and this is it ! Remarkable, that’s all I can say. Thank you for the experience, “Guitar Player”.
