If I see Henri I would not just take a glance I will be there absorbing every single note.Besides the music I love his movements and facial expressions.Pure Genius

How anybody can just walk by while Henri is playing is beyond me. Apparently, they have no idea that one of the best piano players in the world is performing.

We know the soldiers must have been impressed because they didn’t unleash a lead firestorm onto Henri’s piano, always a good sign.

My grandfather had a piano at home, (in the 60s) oh so long ago. I loved bashing the ivories. My piano skills never developed any further as a 5 year old. However it was a rare treat to go to a pub that had a piano, he would just sit down and get some great tunes out of it just because it was there. I love your videos, brings back many loved memories. Thank you.

Henri, without a doubt you are the best piano player I have ever heard. You have a God given talent. Music rolls off your fingertips like water flowing over a waterfall.

I think this is probably one of the greatest public piano performances he has given, even better than St Pancras schooling to name but one. i have all 7 of his BBC interviews which are studio based and are sublime, but this is incomparible. I love it. Keep on boogeying.

My mother, was a nightclub entertainer in the 60s and LOVED blues, jaz and especially boogie woogie music. She attempted to instil this love as a young boy but loved percussion more. My mother passed away in 1970 at 44 and never got to see me transition from percussion to blues harmonica. She would have loved Henri!
