That's probably the happiest that piano has been in a very, very long time!

Brilliant! The fact that it stopped everyone in the pub for a few mins and bought them all together for a few minutes is what is missing these days.. Excellent talent.

Even at 94, he had me jumping all over the place. He is what I call a real entertainer. Love his style of music, too.

I had a mate who was a fantastic pianist. every pub we went to that had a piano in he'd end up on it after a few drinks. the atmosphere would always suddently burst in to life and we'd have the whole place singing along. wish it was more of a widespread thing.

Being from Texas, I instantly recognized the tune as "Red River Valley". That boogie version of it was excellent and obviously enjoyed by pub patrons. Wish I'd been there.

Being from Manitoba, I instantly recognized the tune as "Red River Valley". The Red River (of the North) is poised to spring its banks any time, and flood us, but meanwhile, this boogie version of it was excellent. Wish I'd been there!

My grandfather sang to me when I was 3 or so in his lap. It was the saddest thing I had ever heard. I would make him stop, which cracked him up. And made him always sing it and sing it extra sad and lonesome.

Honestly this is as cool as it gets.Goes in to a pub Absolutely rocks the place then trucks on out like a stroll in the park,Everbody is Stunned.

3 people walked out. Doesnt matter how talented you are if youre in the wrong environment, a woman walked over to ask him to stop and gave up when her husband came up behind her and wispered something to her. Big balled guy goes from thinking "thats a piano" to "no more piano"' by the end of the video, boogie woogie is fun but its not music. Terrys enthusiasm, or ignorance in the face of this, makes me believe hes the perfect person for youtube, as he always kept energy or a smile.

@@marcelboogaard3809 That big dude caught what was going down at the first up tempo and had the right frame of mind to get up and witness first hand. Unlike the others that just sat on their arses. Kudos to the big guy for being more real than almost anyone else there.

The silent piano in the corner of every pub, waiting with memories of a time when music wasn't about rappers buying bentleys but about friends and family having happy times around a talented fella at the ivories.😊

I would pay thousands to this man to play a piano like that if i had a pub, he would bring in so much custom listening to him play rather than listening to the rubbish on the jukebox. Well done whoever this man is, what a talent.

What did the jukebox do to you man....they are brilliant.....his piano is great though but nothing beats a great live band....still a jukebox tells us how a man or woman is feeling that day....

I appreciate that it is difficult but i still don't feel it. Its the same with most jazz and classic. Hard to play but also hard to feel/understand. I love simple music.

I've done this many times in bars...but most of the patrons weren't impressed with my prowess playing armpit fart concertos...sigh

And this my friends, is why we crowded the pubs and halls back in the day, bluetooth will never replace the joy of seeing average Joes with above average talent, making music and enjoying doing it. Be it jazz, rock or blues, it was always uplifting.

And today on this beautiful evening I've witnessed greatness 🙌 thank you!

What a treat for all the patrons. The reason good musicians attract a lot of peoples attention is because the people realize one has to PRACTICE THEIR ASSES OFF to be that good.

Yep I agree. I appreciate great music and the people that took the time to learn and practice their craft... something I didn't do. I also love people that share their talent with others unconditionally too!

Whenever you see an older man wearing odd colored glasses there's a 99.9% chance he's an amazing musician of one instrument or another

I have a feeling it has seen its fair share of parties and rocking. The pub has been around since the 1700's and would have hosted generations of birthday parties, celebrated arrivals and departures from the village, celebrated victories and drowned out losses, parties for births, deaths and marriages, seen off soldiers for both World War's and welcomed some of them back again. That pub would have been the last sight for many villagers departing and the first port of call for many villagers returning. A pub like that is more than just a pub, it is a community centre with 300 years of history. There are pubs like it all over the country but sadly they are getting fewer and fewer by the year and people won't truly appreciate what they once had until it is gone.
