Love the Plastic Jesus, I've also got one in my car. In one of the bands I've played with, we used to perform the song "Plastic Jesus riding on the dashboard of my car", the song features in the Paul Newman film 'Cool Hand Luke'.

They moved out of Upton Park some years ago they are currently at the London Stadium on the site of the London Olympics 2012.

@@TerryMilesPiano Was actually a mark 1 Vitesse, 1600 straight 6 with overdrive. bought for £85 with 6 months tax and MOT. in 1982. sadly had a rotten chassis and worn piston rings but was great fun for 6 months!! I've subscribed.

Hi Terry try The Lord Tredegar in Bow it was my granddads pub in late 50’s and it had a piano with a clavalina attached to it and I used to play Telstar on it when I was a kid. I believe the piano is still there

@TerryMilesPiano the pub looks like a gin palace..really Victorian and flashy..I think it’s at an area called Westcliff ..or Cliftonville..

Try playing in Bentleys bar,then ask if they know the pub in west cliff with the piano…it was quite a few years ago so an old timer might tell you where it is or was..

Calling that pub the plough makes sense.,As the road name is Furrow lane. When ploughing with a plough it leaves Furrows.
