This is the first reaction I’ve seen anybody do for Nancy’s vocals. And it does sound a bit different than the studio version. One of the great things about Ann and Nancy is there ability to change up their songs in live performances. And they are not country. They are straight up rock and roll.

Cook with Fire live! It will jump-start your heart. Anne's high note at the very end is absolutely killer. Hot band at their peak! On Sweet Dreams, Nancy, (guitarist) who 9.9 times out of ten sings fantastic backup for Anne, sings lead on this. Her range is pretty closely matched to her sister, but Anne seems to work dynamics more (volume, vibrato, banshee sounds, etc). In the 70's, when they had Roger Fisher on lead guitar and Michael Desrosier on drums, Howard Leeds on guitar and piano, and Steven Fosse on bass, they kicked ass.

This is considered adult contemporary, but they are a rock band and have hits from the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and 2000’s.

You want to hear one of their rock songs, play the song Black on Black ll. They are sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson. The song These Dreams had Nancy singing lead, but her sister Ann is the one with a powerhouse voice. They are hard core rock, but can do ballads as well like These Dreams.

The studio version is a little different and they were younger, but I like this better.

@@eggy1962 Ah, but the studio/video version was classic! Yes, it's fantastic they could still do this song live in perfect pitch years later. Great tribute to their talent and a young man first discovering Heart! Many more songs to be explored :)

This is one of my favorite girl rock bands! ❤ If you want to do an actual country song, and have a good laugh, do PAPA'S IN THE PEN by Garth Brooks and have it show the lyrics during the song. You seem to enjoy musical comedy (Meatloaf 😅).

Not country, more pop rock. Sisters, the dark haired girl Ann is the usual lead singer. Nancy did the lead on this song and usually does the backup. They have many hits from the 80's

Hey Ace you need to balance your mike level with the performance playback level. Too often we need to toggle between being loud enough to get the power of the performance & getting blasted by your responses. Oh, this ain’t country, they re “Adult Contemporary”
