This song was dedicated to my sister Sharon Hess who was a lifelong fan of Heart, and specifically Nancy Wilson. She died of leukemia at 21. Thanks for posting this reaction video, and let’s keep the love alive.

I was there....very lucky...they were raised in a suburb of Seattle..The studio version of Alone at the beginning when Anne is on the balcony was also filmed in the same place...the Paramont theater..an old music hall that was completely restored...it was an evening to remember

Watching your face as you listened to Heart’s music was a privilege. I absolutely loved it. Twas perfection. Thank you for posting.

I might be wrong, but if I recall correctly, this song was originally offered to Stevie Nicks. She passed, and Heart made it their first #1 single in America. Love this song and this band. Ann Wilson is arguably the greatest female rock vocalist of all time. Nancy is a talented musician and underrated singer as well. Another fantastic song from the fabulous 1980s! 😁. Hello my dear Red, Ooh I'm a bit slow at the moment with messages - but thank you so much for checking in. Beautiful as always. I absolutely adore this track -it's just sung so well. Anyhow, I do hope you're ok. I'll see you the other side tomorrow. Would you believe I was opening up a can and it sliced my finger quite badly so doing anything with my left hand is a nightmare - blood everywhere, quite deep. I put Butterly stitches on them and on dressing number 10! 🤦🏽‍♀️. 😘❤️x

I’ve seen them live in concert twice, once back when this album first came out, and again a few years later. They’re absolutely incredible in concert! Unbelievably talented!

Sorry P, had to be away awhile..."mum" passed on 3/3, her birthday. Saw this Heart reaction today. Ah the 80's & Heart!. Alone is my fav of them too. Looking forward to more Heart reactions. Family & I are fine. Its customary to listen to "Amor Eterno" from Juan Gabriel, but I cant, too emotional. He wrote it for his mother on her passing. Good to be back with you. Oh my goodness this is such sad news Jesse - I am so sorry for your loss and on her birthday 😞😪. My birthday is the 4th March..Even though your mother's physical being is gone, her spiritual presence is still very much here -she never left you - she left in only a way humans can understand, and our knowledge in that field is 'very' limited for good reason. When the time is right you will be able to listen to the songs that you find so difficult right now - take your time to heal your fractured heart, but you 'will' be ok. All my love winging its way to you Jesse - the Universe made our paths cross - your Mother and my birthday just 24 hours apart, how incredible is that, but 'not'a concidence. I ADORE the Wilson sisters, sooo much! …I think this must be my favorite Heart concert footage, even more so than their performance with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra! Maybe there was a magical bit of “something extra” in the atmosphere during that show, since it was in Heart’s own home town.🥰

Sorry boys and girls there's truly nothing like this in today's Music..You can talk all day long about your Taylor Swift and contemporary cronies but their music holds nothing unique ..
