Heart, one of the greatest of all time.

Cut back the bombast and spectacle of the 80's and this is what you get: two supremely gifted singers/musicians who can strip a song down to its basics and make you feel like you're hearing it for the first time.

These two ladies are just pure talent.

65 yo here and have been in love with the sisters since the 70"s

I grew up less than a mile from them!

Makes me tear up as I reflect on my life. This stuff saved my life so many times.

These sisters are queens. The godmothers of Grunge!

Fun Fact: Ann & Nancy have a sister Lynn for family music times, and she also did background vocals on a number of Heart studio recordings.

I fell in love with the Wilson sisters in the 70s what more could a boy want. A blonde and brunette sisters 🤩 that could play and sing and beautiful to look at❤

I remember the first time I saw Heart thinking wow they sound better live than they do on vinyl

I visualize their voices as a circle inside a circle Nancy is the inner circle and they are almost indistinguishable.. slight variation, but you can tell it’s related by blood.. so, Ann and Nancy are pretty much equivalent within the inner circle.. but then Ann explodes outside of the inner circle ⭕️ and can expand in any direction…. That’s why they harmonize so beautifully

This version of Alone is my absolute favorite! It benefits from simplicity which highlights the vocals of both sisters.

I love early Heart and I love them now. I'm just sad that the original male members who were fantastic are mostly forgotten.

Yes, and she's even more beautiful here than in her younger years...

They did an amazing cover of Led Zeppelins Battle of Evermore at this same concert.

Ann's vocals can be a soft spring breeze, or a massive hurricane, all in the same song.

Their dad was in the military and they moved around alot. But every Sunday was Opera and Pancakes! so they grew up singing along... That will surely strengthen the vocal chords! And Nancy has been playing guitar since she was a child...

I live in Seattle seen Heart many times over the years and seeing them again in Seattle at Climate Plegde Arena this New Year's Eve!!!🤟

Notice Nancy is the high part in the harmonies and the Second song These Dreams was the first #1 hit they had and Alone was #2

I have commented several times on this, Ann was our Floor back in the day. I'm 63 now but in the 70's when Heart appeared Ann's voice was always perfect.

And that harmony is dead on…..If it’s good acoustic, it’s good, fact. As a vocalist myself, I know how high and how much air and support you need to get there, control vibrato or let it go….thats high level diaphragm technique and knowing your mid range vocals with your palette engaged….whoooooo hoooooo!!! ❤️🎶❤️

Grew up with the Wilson Sisters and Heart and can't tell you how fantastic they are live. I saw them many times living on Vancouver Island close to Seattle. Every show was brilliant. Trailblazers for women in rock and still belting out those vocals in Their 60s and 70s is insane. I've recently found The Warning 3 sisters from Mexico and they remind me of the young Wilsons of the 70s as far as talent and hard work goes. Shout out to all the women rocking our world, 🤘❤🔥

Ann is still going strong at 73. She just released a knew album at the end of September. Nancy is awesome , I saw her here in Lethbridge with her band . They were with Styx. This concert i have at home and aldo after her operation. Ann tried to sing These Dreams but it was Nancy's song. There book is great.

Heart covered "Stairway to Heaven", when Led Zeppelin was honored at the Kennedy Center. They performed with the son of Led Zep's original drummer, and it brought Robert Plant to tears.

It was amazing. Heart does some amazing covers of other Led Zeppelin songs.There Cover of Battle of Evermore is phenomenal.

Their Dad was the Principal of a local Middle School.

I saw Heart in 2019, great concert.

We have our tickets to go to a HEART concert Nov 30th I can't wait

I will listen to music of the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, before I will listen to T Swift! Icons of rock!

I'm going to see them in Manchester, England in July. I can not wait. I go to a lot of gigs but this is the one I am most looking forward to this year!

A little Heart trivia. When Nancy recorded "These Dreams" she had a cold and her voice was a little harsh. She didn't like it and wanted to re-record the track. Their big shots at the label preferred the original and she couldn't duplicate it after feeling better so they went with the first take and the rest, as they say, is history.

I love that this song highlights Nancy’s vocals. Ann is undoubtedly the powerhouse vocalist in Heart, but Nancy’s voice is no less on point with the vocal technique. They are a remarkable pair of musician sisters.

Their voices have not changed at all. Also...being sisters...cheat code enabled.

One of my first concerts I ever went to was Heart .. way back in the day .. around 1977, and got to meet the band backstage .. Needless to say, I've been a HUGE fan ever since.. I was 15, I think .. Anywho, years later (2003?) we took our two kids, aged 12 and 14 to see them at Hard Rock Live in O-Town and they did these two songs and a couple more acoustically .. My kids, to this day STILL rate this show as their favorite, EVER! (btw, you REALLY should check out "Mistral Wind" .. Ann REALLY stretches her vocal chords on that banger!!)
