    Hello ma'am. I found out about flax seed on google but your great video has really educated me more about it. I have to tell you one of the first benefits I have noticed within two days of getting a tablespoon of ground flax seed in my diet was that the nerve pain in my feet is much better. Im sure the other things you spoke of will come along before long. Thank you so much for your video. Really enjoyed your energy!

  • @russelldemello9493
    @russelldemello9493 Жыл бұрын

    I saw a video by a different lady who said ground flaxseed is already going bad after just 5 or so days so if people get ground flax seed it's potency is already diminished substantially because of the time it takes from being ground down to getting it to the store shelf. She talked about it being transported and warehoused and whatever else in less than ideal conditions. Hence, she's saying that by the time you buy ground flax seed it's probably already diminished a lot so the only sure way to consume flax seed is to buy the whole seeds and then grind them down yourself. What say you Sophie?

    Great video! I didn't know about the flaxseed during pregnancy...is it safe while breastfeeding?

    I think so - and great question. I ate it while I was breastfeeding. But you might want to run it by pediatrician (if you have one that's good on nutrition!!!)

    Yum, now I thought I was the only one who did this. Actually, it has a texture like no other, at first seems unusual, but after awhile, the taste buds will crave.

    I'm so glad I found this comment because that's what I was looking for. I remember when growing up in Barbados we were given linseed which is the same and they would boil it with milk. I love it and couldn't find the recipe at all online. Hope you see this and able to tell me how to make it.

    @snowleopard7952 please how do you make it? I was given this as a child in Barbados and would love to make it.

    Hi Sophie, I was wondering if you could provide the link to the video you gave mentioned before about “who shouldn’t eat soy”. I’m starting up my plant based journey and I’m 49. Have a small fibroid and don’t want to encourage anymore estrogen in my body. By the way I live in Temecula! Thank you!

    Thank you for this video. I've had my flaxseed meal sitting in my cabinet. It's 4:15 am and I just put some into my yogurt. Thank you Sophie.

    Eating a plant *only* diet is clearly not healthy in the long term. But I agree that flax seeds are a beneficial food considering they are lectin free, have a great omega 3/6 ratio, have lots of fiber, and other health benefits.

    Hi Sophie. I always add flaxseed meal to my vegetable drinks and smoothies I love flaxseed. Can I mix it in warm water and drink it as a tea? This is the first time I am hearing what it's good for. thanks for sharing this information. I have 2 bags in my refrigerator right now. Let me know about drinking it as a tea.

    I have a question... I've heard some people say they should be left soaking overnight before consuming the next day? Somehow that takes out the "toxins" I'm just wondering what your take on this is... Thank you

    You soak them to soften them and get the oil to leak out of them over night. You would be saving your digestive system that process. I've been doing that for years. I put the softened flaxseed, and the water they were soaked in, in the blender.❤
