Head Gravity MP Review by Gladiators

Спорт

Ouch! That hurt! Anyways, the Gravity MP. Looking at the specs of the racket you'd think that in theory it's supposed to be a powerful racket that still has pretty good control. That's what it is. I think that it's enough for the description. To us, it was very close to a perfect overall racket. There was only one little disadvantage that was kinda messing with Areg...

    Great contents again guys! Review is on point and the humor made it more enjoyable to watch. Coming from the Speed MP, I totally agree with you that the Gravity MP is powerful but doesn’t send the ball flying as much and still has a decent amount of control. I asked you about the Gravity Tour vs MP on the other review video, ended up grabbing both and liking them both LOL. I think I prefer Tour more because it has better control and stability vs the MP while still having enough power but MP is my fun racquet I strung with full bed multifilament so I can play it more. Keep up the good work guys!

    @@gladiatorstribe Hey Grish, I'd like to see your opinion on adding weight to the Gravity MP. I really enjoy the feel for the Tour but the 18x20 pattern is really difficult for me to play around. To me, it'd be like having the 10% crit strike chance, where I'll have to whiff like 90% of the winners but once I land that 10% clean af flat winners, it'd be pretty darn nice. I prefer the open string pattern from the MP but I find the frame itself a little too unstable and too light. So it'd be great to see where would you add the weight for the MP. Thanks!

  • @gladiatorstribe

    @gladiatorstribe

    @@hijikatakun000 Hey! For stability the best place to add weight is to the head. Maybe at 9 and 3. If you see that you're not happy with the balance. Add some weight to the handle. Id start with 3-4 grams at 3 and 9. Do keep in mind that the power will increase as well.

    Nice Review as always. For a couple of months i played the 360+ Speed MP Black Version and love this racket. Cuz it's sexy af.... Due to elbow problems because of bad backhand slice technique , i bought the Gravity MP as a more arm friendly secondary. And cuz it's sexy af.....(Grishas Paintjob.Don't like the new one ) But after playing a couple of Sessions i slightly prefer the Gravity for now. I added a Oehms Leather Grip, Wilson Pro Comfort OG and 4g of Lead at 2 and 10. This greatly helps with stability and plow through especially against Hard hitter. My Main String atm is Yonex Poly Tour Pro which fits very well in both Rackets IMO. Keep doing your stuff! Your reviews are Awesome! P.S: What do you think about adding Polyester string reviews to the channel? Maybe a series for Budget friendly Control Strings, Spin and Power strings etc. Or maybe hidden Gems which are similar to Expensive popular Strings like Luxilon or Solinco.

    Maybe start by adding some weight by wrapping lead around the grip and then putting an overgrip on top. This way you're not gonna mess stuff up with silicone. There's an even easier way but not as customizable. Putting a leather grip adds a lot of weight to the grip and improves the feel but you can't really add or subtract that weight.

    Problem with this frame is once you add the proper weight needed for stability, you throw off the power/control balance. This is a whippy spin friendly frame but the added weight makes it less whippy IE less spin while also making it more powerful. Bad combination. The 18x20 on the gravity tour helps that rackets control at the higher weight. Pro has that controlled 18x20 pattern too plus an even thinner beam for more control still.
