    I agree with you, I thought I knew what I was going to get with the new head racquets and each review I was pleasantly surprised at how good they were. The G360+ has been a fantastic improvement. HEAD killing it in 2020! Great review Beckett 👊🏻

    Thanks for the video! Do you have any thoughts on the Head Instinct Graphene 360/360+ MP? I'm starting to get back into tennis again and was looking around for something more budget friendly, at my local tennis shop I can get 2 of the 2020 model for about 230 USD or get the 2021 model for about 190 USD. I have some demos coming soon but would like some second opinions about these rackets, thanks!

    I am not a huge fan of the Instinct because I find the line to feel a bit disconnected. That may not be something you'll notice as much coming back in to tennis though. Of course, when the price is that good, its hard to ask for much more racquet than you get with the Instinct. In Canada, we have some amazing deals on the Prince Beast line which would be my preferred budget choice.

    Hey Becket, with the Extreme Tour, it looks like you added a total of 6 grams in the upper hoop. Did you counter balance with weight in the handle and if so, how many grams?

  • @CourtsideSportsLTD

    @CourtsideSportsLTD

    3 жыл бұрын

    In this case, I did not counter balance, but that was mostly because of laziness. I was mainly interested in how this racquet would perform with higher swingweight. Were I to switch to this racquet (which may happen at some point) I would add 5-10 grams or a leather grip.

  • @highflying19

    Love the tour made the switch. Added a leather grip and a little lead at 3 9 and a smidge at 12. 4g rough in the crosses and playing around with shaped strings in the main. The tour can do it all in my opinion. Great platform racquet

    I was playing with the Pure Strike 98 16x19 2nd Gen (the Project One7). Great racket but it finally gave me pain in the shoulder and elbow. Looking for a substitute I bought the Head Extreme Tour, it's clearly much more comfortable and has more feel, however it has way less power than the Babolat, so I haven't adapt to it yet. It's like the ball sticks to the racket. Also the launch angle is much lower too, so I found my balls landing short or hitting the net, I find this racket is not helping my game, it's like I have to do a lot more to win points and that¡s not what I want from a racket. I don't know if I should be more patient or change to something with a little more pop and forgiveness, maybe the Extreme MP...

    @@jacobzak9597 Canada didn't get the Extreme Pro so I haven't tried the new one. I believe it got a weight increase from 310g to 315g. Since you are having a hard time converting swing speed into pace, I recommend using something with a higher swingweight. The old Extreme Pro had a pretty heavy swingweight close to 340 so definitely a good choice.

    Its definitely noticeable. The thinner beam and tighter 16x19 make a difference by lowering the launch angle quite a bit. I only ever had problems with the MP if I was really pressing and maybe swinging too fast, but the Tour always had enough control.

    I haven't tried the Dunlop frames, but I can compare the EZ100 and Extreme MP. The Extreme definitely has more spin potential, especially for topspin. Which generation EZ100 are you using? I prefer the Extreme MP in feel to the 2018 EZone for its superior comfort and more soild feel. The 2020 EZ100 has better feel that the Extreme MP in my opinion due to a more solid and predictable response. The Extreme MP does offer more feedback than the 2020 EZ100 though.

    I think the spin, power and control and all very close. In terms a feel, there are subtle differences. I get a little more feedback from impact in the MP, while the PA feels more solid. Courtside Sports any idea why all modern rackets feel this way! I remember playing with my old prince tour 100T (orange), it’s only 290g but it felt solid, like the racket was one whole piece if you know what I mean. Anything similar to the Textreme feel in the market (except Prince of course), or anything with a solid connection to the ball?

    Ps: The Blade and Strike’s reviews say they also have a muted feel, which throws me off a little bit, also I don’t know if I can handle rackets with too much weight in the head, considering Wilson and Bab’s QC... @@mteca5093 Very different. 95 offer much more control due to smaller head, thinner beam, denser pattern (16x20) and lower flex. It forces you to take big swings to earn power and spin. The biggest difference I notice is the launch angle. The Extreme shoots the ball upwards, relying on spin to pull the ball down, the 95 launch it more straight, forcing you to really hit through the shot.
