    Great video once again! Own this racket since two month back. Any recommended strings and tension for an "intermediate" player who has this stick which might be a slight bit hard for him to play with?

    I tried head hawk touch @46, velocity @52, hyper g @ 51lbs. Head hawk touch great when fresh out. Velocity not quite great, may be it'll be better once it break in, I like it how it plays on gravity MP. Hyper g is solid for now, not sure how tension loss will kick in.

    I know that I am in the minority, but I like the Graphene Touch MP more than this new version of the Prestige MP. I have a long history with Head rackets and still own some of them as the Pro Tour 280, iPrestige MP, Youtek IG Prestige MP + Mid, Radical Tour Candycane, Prestige 600 Classic, Liquidmetal Prestige MP. I don't get all the hype about the 360+ and the negative commments about anything after the IG Prestige. Hit the racket by your own and don't depend on reviews alone, you can't see or read a feeling... 😉

    When you rate feel are you going strictly off comfort? Because when I think feel I think connection with the ball and knowing where I hit it on the stringbed.

    Sorry for the late reply, I didn't see this notification come in. I rate feel off a few things. I would say, on average, it's about 60% connection to the ball and 40% off comfort. This would vary from racquet to racquet, as I think racquets geared towards advanced players should favour connection to the ball over pure comfort. Somewhere between comfort and connection to the ball, I would include "dwell time" or ball pocketing sensations. Generally, I feel more connected to racquets that can hold the ball on the string longer than ones that shoot the ball out quickly.

    Hi Beckett -- Odd question: how difficult is it to replace the grommets/bumper guard on the Prestige MP? I string my own racquets, and have replaced the bumper guard/grommets on my RF97 many times, and find it very straightforward. I'm considering switching to the Prestige MP, but want to make sure replacing the bumper guard is doable (as a point of reference, I understand that replacing the bumper guard/grommets on a Babolat is a nightmare).

  • @CourtsideSportsLTD

    I have not replaced the guard on the 360+ MP's, only previous versions. Its not as easy as the RF97, but much easier than any Babolat racquet. There are only 2 pieces and they are symmetrical. What's tricky is that there's a lot of plastic due to the CAP system so the parts aren't as malleable.

    Hey Beckett, hope you are doing well! How would you compare it to the IG version?how did you measure the 58 ra? Got a Bab RDC? TW lists it as a 61ra

    Sadly i haven't hit with the IG since I was 15... just can't remember what it was like. Measured the RA, strung, on a Bab RDC. That was just one sample, I believe TW takes an average so its possible their spec will represent the greater population with more accuracy.

    I play with the youtek ig as my primary racquet since it came out. I upgraded to the ig from the flex point prestige, and still to this day I use the IG in my regular play. I demoed the 360+ prestige MP and it’s probably the closest prestige head has made since the IG. I didn’t like anything since the IG. You can tell it’s from the prestige lineup, but still not the same. In my opinion (everyone has one) it’s the closest prestige since the IG, but i didn’t make the switch.

    The Prestige Pro has better plow through and power for sure. It feel like a racquet designed more for the modern game. The MP swings faster and slices better, but I'd chose the Pro for match day.

    @courtsidesports @courtside sports ... Hi. Can you compare the precision, feel, and backhand slice ball action between the mp and the pro, please?

  • @CourtsideSportsLTD

    @CourtsideSportsLTD

    The MP feels a lot flexier and the Pro feels more responsive and stiffer. The BH slice is definitely better on the MP, and the PRO sometimes launches the ball higher than I'd like. The MP definitely is more control oriented, the Pro is surprising powerful and delivers great topspin. I personally prefer the Pro, but appreciate the MP a lot as a unique racquet.

    @@CourtsideSportsLTD thank you very much for taking the time to reply. I appreciate it. I just have one more question please. I am an all court player and my most used stroke is the BH slice. I watched your Speed MP and Pro video and it seems they are more suited to my gameplay, most especially the Speed MP. Having said that, will the Head Speed MP and Head Speed Pro still complement my BH slice like the Prestige MP would? Which one should I go for?

    It has a softer feel, more forgiving outside the sweet spot and generates more spin. I actually quite liked the crisper feel of the previous version, but the plush feeling of the new one is still quite pleasant. I definitely prefer the bigger head size on the new one for most situations
