Such a heartwarming video today Arroz! I love watching the babies play with each other. They look like cuddly, bundles of love! They run at each other and roll around showing pure joy! Fifi watching mom forage and doing it too. Is this where "Monkey see. Monkey do" came from? Becky's is Batgirl! Those giant ears are precious! The subtle differences are so amazing. I now see the differences. It took months of watching your videos Arroz. Thank you so much for all you do! 🐇

I hate to agree with you on this one, but I couldn't help but notice that a lot of our friends are getting a little chunky lol. Feeding them natural foods like you do (sweet potatoes, even mangoes and apples, etc) are good for them- that's not the issue! But Bossy's fave- chocolate creme cakes and other refined carbohydrates are horrible for not just us- but for our primate friends as well. Hong Kong is a country so full of compassionate, sharing millionaires ;) but I guess it all means our friends are a little soft in the tummy. Oh well, I'm sure it'll work itself out- in some way that I can't foresee. Thanks again for sharing your love for your macaques with us. I feel it's an honor and a privilege. I have learned so much- I never realized how much I know until I see random videos of macaques and a lot of the times, I can understand the interactions, all because of you. Like that "fight" among the lady monkeys- I love how you broke it all down for us, frame by frame- name by name, pointing out who has a baby and the politics behind the argument. Thank you so much- I think I can speak for all of us here- you are incredible at what you do, and we appreciate you sharing your years and years of knowledge with us. It's such a joy.

Great footage of Little Daffy, love the tiny teeth. 16:14-16-16 💜🦷💞 So cute! I really enjoy your videos of the monkeys in their natural, unstaged environment. Many of the videographers on KZread who "observe" monkeys seem to try to stage drama within different Troops which is completely unnecessary because there's enough drama naturally within a troop dynamic without Causing issues with food and other members. The whole point is to observe them in their Natural environment, if I wanted to watch a soap opera I would watch Days of our Lives, LOL. So I personally Thank you for your integrity, and compassion towards these amazing animals, and for sharing your knowledge! 🥰🐵🥰

They do go up high on them trees and they fall sometimes. It’s sad when they die so young.

they jump from tree to tree or branch. Some of the leaps the littles take are rather breathtaking. I'm assuming that they miscalculate a jump and fall.

I often wonder if they haven't gotten stuck in a tight spot up in the trees and couldn't be pulled out.

I am lucky to have a safari park called Longleath and a monkey sanctuary not to far. Longleath is amazing. I really love watching the rhesus macaques running around in the grass. They seem to be smaller but they clamber all over the car and i could watch them for hours. I love the sign on the way out of monkey enclosure says “please check that you are going home with the same number of little monkeys as you came in with” My trip to Hong Kong was cancelled with the pandemic. I really hope i can go another time. 🐒🐵

Becky does have the most humongous ears doesn't she..a strong wind would knock her over when their open🙉.. Bossy junior was such a little darling..such a looker and just so happy..not lìke Bossys kids at all🙊.. I love it when ALL the youngsters can play together..poor Bessy has hardly any fur left on her front and sides..only a strip down her back..wonder if its a hormone thing..we didn't see Tracy or Stacy Ridgy or indeed our Grandee... wonder if Stacy has had her bun yet..its very late to have one now..even later than Tracy and Tinky last yr..I hope eveything is ok with that lil group..saw Fify once but no Vivy..very strange..thank you for a great video Arroz..made me smile after the previous one about Benji made me cry..poor Bee..hope you are all well my monkey hill friends..see you on Friday..stay safe..🇬🇧💞✝️🙏👍🙈🙉🙊💋💤💤

I was thinking the same exact thing. With those ears and that sweet face, Becky looks so much like Bossy Jr. :')

I love the way bossy looks at you. I feel she knows who you are and it’s so funny to see the way she watches you. You scared off bubby and she didn’t even flinch.

I noticed that too, Bossy didn't bat an eye. I wouldn't want to get on her bad side but apparently Arroz doesn't need to worry about that! On the other hand, Reddy is always wary of people, even Arroz who she has known for 5+ years! At one point Deenly was ahead of Reddy, both going towards Arroz and Reddy scooped her up before she got too close to him. But she's always been a cautious, safe mom and good for her for never fully trusting humans.

You think Becky noticed her own reflection? Or "A" reflection? I seriously doubt she knows the difference.

Reddy was very vocal in this one, although she usually is. She’s saying “hey arroz wait up, got anything to munch you’re planning to throw away? Come on we go back!”

Wasn't Bessy a little too rough with Becky? I was a little surprised Becky could climb and run along the rails so well because Bossy has always been holding on to her. Loved watching Georgy and Daffy in the trees. Thank you Arroz.

Georgy and Daffy were adorable in the trees! Playing with unbridled abandon. So lovely. They are so loved and it shows. They know they are safe in their family and can enjoy just being! Bessy was a touch rough with Becky. I love watching from North Carolina, USA. What a joy! 🐇

I seriously wondered if I needed to adjust the color on my monitor, her face is SO red!

I am happy to see they still know how to forge for food. All the junk food they get in a daily basis like bread or pastries are not good on their digestive system plus they loose their most important skill..... Foraging!!

You can really tell the high ranking families vs the low rankers. The high ranking ones are actually fat because they gorge themselves while the low ranking ones can mostly sit by and watch while their stomachs grumble. The low ranking moms have to wean their skinny babies early because they can't get enough food to produce all the milk their babies need. Most of Bossy's kids are chubby to fat in addition to being the bullies and prime kidnappers of their troop. I like the feeders that distribute the goodies in multiple places so most have a chance for something. The feeders who put everything in one big pile generally just feed the high ranking families while the rest get some scraps or minuscule crumbs later. Don't know how many times I've seen Barry or Barney plunk their ass down on a pile of food and chase everyone else away (even their sisters occasionally).

It's really something about the Rhesus Macaques, they are one of the meanest old world monkeys if compared to the other Macaques.

@Av8tore71...the long tail macaques ( ones in Cambodia etc) are mean , these ones (short tail) treat babies very well, long tails NO & I don't understand that ? I asked but no one knows, they just blowing hot air thinking they are 🐒 psychologist, LOL

Bessy is a bratty big sister! Even worse sometimes than Bubby.🥴

What's up with Bossy's troops - some of those coats are looking really, really bad and now I notice more and more are developing patches that look suspiciously like the earlier two who seem really to have lost hair and even skin looked to start with. Some type of dermatitis that is getting infected with skin bacteria or is this a sign they are missing something in their diet? I question diet as it seems to be bothering nursing mothers the most and the babies are showing no signs, but milk would get nutrients first even if mother ends up going without them altogether so babies would show no sign of dietary issue until much later but if it was infectious, one would think some babies in contact with mothers would show some patches too

Why did Tina, Tiny and Teeny struggle with getting enough food in a forest where there is lots to eat?

Tina (and her family as they get their rank from her) are very low ranking. If they present themselves when feeders are giving out goodies they can get attacked. It's why Tina stays in the bushes and sends her infant children out into the scrum to collect scraps of food so she can raid and clear the kids pouches. High rank eats first then it progresses down the ranked families. Individuals that are lower ranking take chances and try for food as it's being distributed but with all the noise and running around you can see some are getting smacked. There are natural foodstuffs in the forest, but it is a lower nutrition return type. Plus the troops are probably getting used to getting food from people.

The food is plentiful during summer season and there are fruit trees with fruit ready during the spring and some during the autumn but during vinter and part of spring and autumn the food is low on Monkey Hill. 🤓🏴‍☠️🇸🇪

Arroz we ALL have been reincarnated, at some points. Your soul goes much before Jesus Christ. You had a pattern , 2 years with one the same women plus a third one different, were changing, probably to in hence the grows. You were happy camper....with 117 reincarnations . Parents are changing mostly every 2 years. so your mam will be your mom one more time. I do not know everything, but what I know - I know.. There is so many reincarnated monkeys you can get a headek. but all of that making us happy. One thing I know for sure You grew up as a wonderful human ! ❤ PS. Look for Bossy JR - HIS EYES !

I don’t think it’s been said who her mother is. My theory is that it is Granny, and Aggy is Granny’s youngest or perhaps only daughter. They have similar facial features and are always together. I would bet they are related to Mary also, her perhaps being a sister of Granny. That’s just a theory of mine though. No other proof than speculation.

Aggy and that tongue. I swear that’s crazy. Someone else does that.

I forget which female it is, but isn't there still someone who hasn't given birth yet? I keep waiting for the big announcement about the last baby of the season.

I'm not really sure how you can claim that bossy's girls are doing something right when they are attacking the wrong one... The one on the right was biting the one in the middle and the one on the left is biting the one on the right trying to get her to back off.. So they attacked the wrong one.. At least that's how it looks to me...

The difference is you’re providing healthy food in moderation. With the feeders the highborns turn into gluttons that gorge themselves into fat unhealthy monkeys. It’s killing them with kindness. I love watching them acting natural and foraging and don’t understand why ppl like seeing them in diapers and clothes eating a pure fruit sugar inducing diabetic diet. I know you don’t like to show them having disagreements but could you narrate whats happening?

Why does one mother have such red pigment?

There shouldn't even be any feeders, that would help the problem. I know it's a tourist thing, but maybe we should leave it that way. These monkeys can forage for food, there is a vast forested area there. They don't need to be fed by paid feeders, that is dumb.

Maybe it's done for a reason. We have no idea the rules and what's happening over in Hong Kong. Just bc you see the beauty here doesn't mean there aren't other things going on behind the scene. Arroz would have told us if there was a problem bc as you can see he too he has a strong belief too in nature and those monkeys.

@@ML_SE if they stopped, No 🐒 would starve, they have been fine for thousands of years, of course winter slows down growth thats a no brainer, so if feeding was ok ( which I think not ) then they would feed in winter months but these people feed yr round ( just like here in the US ) once a entitlement program starts it doesn't stop if people just depend on that without trying to help themselves hell even a monkey knows that as we can see

@@bruce9648 It's a little bit different with the monkeys along Golden hill in HK they were placed there by the government. After finish the new freshwater dam 1938 they realised the area was filled with poisonous plants, strychnine. So they placed some monkeys to eat the plants for them. It worked. The government "owes" the monkeys a bunch. The feeding started because of not enough food items in the woods. 🤓🏴‍☠️🇸🇪
