Hi Jennifer I broke my foot trying to get my dog back into the house. I let him out to pee he is blind my foot slipped on leaves and I went flying down our new houses back yard. And broke my foot in 3 places. Horrible. I had surgery and they had to put a rod into my bones across my foot. And a plate with screws. Uugg .

I'm amazed at how well the babies are handling that slope. They scare me just watching them.

So good to have you back on regular schedule. I have been waiting in anticipation to come home from work to watch your wonderful videos. I love it when you go into the forest to film them. Thank you for your hard work. And sharing it with us.

This is certainly a breath of fresh air, with everything going on global we can still watch the simple things on monkey hill,🐒😘💕💞

Excellent camera work AM to catch all of that activity up so high! My neck hurts just thinking of it. I have neck problems anyway but even for people without them I imagine it is not very comfortable filming up high from the road especially for such a long time. So thank you! Great job especially to capture Dy's near-kidnap attempt and Aggy's quick reaction to prevent it. The babies are gaining independence, loving to explore a little on their own and they are quite good at navigating the steep hill. Well most of them anyway, Deenly stuck close to Reddy I noticed. Not that I blame her, if Reddy was my mom I'd want to be near her a lot too. ❤

Poor Dy. She wants a baby to nurse. She is so strong that hurts inconciously the babies. The time she kidnapped Spunky, she was more afraid than the baby, because she could not maintain Spunky under control. I love Dy so much.

It never occurred to me that she was probably scared to death herself but it makes sense now that you mention it. I love all the monkeys, even when I don't always understand their behavior. It's always nice to know other people make allowances for their imperfections (or fears) too. Thanks for commenting Lourdes!

Hope you are still well Arroz..lovely 3/4 video..nice to see Löwinas troop as well as our gang there co existing..love it when the babies start bouncing around playing with each other..I think lil Cora must have squeezed Grandee's pickle for him to jump like that..it was more of a suprised jump than anger as he didnt follow up with her..so I'm giving our man the benefit of the doubt.. I think its nice that Aggy is letting Shary babysit lil Daffy..I remember when he was tiny her letting Shary reach out and just touch him and at about 6 weeks old let her have a quick cuddle..Shary is a bit awkward carrying babies but this is all new to her..she will improve given the chance and become a great and trusted babysitter like Rudy..Ruby..Granny.. she didn't attempt to run away with him..just sat close by to Aggy.. she'll love the chance to look after a baby..because we yet again have taken that opportunity away from her. . Lil Cora preferred a bit of cabbage than bread..she likes her greens..great to see where they retreat to in the evening Arroz. .all together as a troop..looking out for each other and letting other troops share monkey hill with them.. as humans we could learn a lot from these gorgeous creatures. .live and let live..and share..do not dominate no matter how big you are..💞🇬🇧🇺🇦✝️🙏👏👏👏🙈🙉🙊🐒🇺🇦

I have to tell all of you about my husband’s funny comment. I was working on crafts and my husband came to me and said in a conspiratorial tone of voice, “Your monkey guy does voice overs on commercials!” “My monkey guy? You mean Arroz Marisco?” He told me that he heard the same voice in an ad. I said so what? He has a narrator. He was nonplussed by that. Seriously, everyone, does it matter? AM makes wonderful, loving videos. If it’s really his voice narrating, great. If not, that’s great, too. I love AM and this channel regardless. ❤️🐒

Was it Stewy that was thought to maybe be a hybrid LTM due to his very dark coloring when he was born? Can't remember, so many babies this season. If so, looks he looks like the other babies with his color. A lot of them look so much alike I dont know how Arroz keeps track of who's who...

Hope you are feeling much better arroz. COVID has hit hong Kong and china hard again. People here in the states are acting like it's over but it will hit hard again. This thing keeps mutating and becoming more spreadable each time. If that isn't bad enough a war that in isn't in either of our countries is raising prices of everything to be ourtragious. People are already struggling and then still get plagued with more hardships. That is why I enjoy your videos so much. They are peaceful and funny at times. I always go to watch old ones when I need to cheer myself up. Just going to wonder years having me laughing watching dopey baby years. He got in so much mischief. I share them with Freund's when they need cheering up. Baby dopey could make anybody laugh. Thanks for your incredible videos that you make. They mean more to people than you will probably ever know. Your a good man and thank you for taking the time to make them. It means the world to me. I look forward to the nights the new ones come out. The crazy thing about that situation, is they gave her back to the troop, two days, before the sanctuary, would have took her. Ass Hat Arroz, had them do that, for his views. They knew better. They knew what was going to happen. Arroz is NO BETTER, than the people, he criticizes, for abusing and exploiting these creatures, solely, for views. He does the exact, same thing, period. 🤔🤷

I bet Monkey Hill had a good amount of methane gas from all the cabbages. LOL

Paprika is so big! She's such a pretty girl. Laid back calm day in monkey hill. 🙂

I would be concerned the babies would get tummy upset eating that cabbage! Flatus all around for the adults!’

I have attempted to watch the monkey channels where the babies are dressed up, bathed all the time and follow a regime of eating and sitting a specific way. It's like watching the same thing over and over. Watching them in the wild is so much better. The dynamics between family members, neighbors and friends is so much more informative about the species and entertaining at the same time. Especially the baby interactions. They are so smart and funny. Why would anyone want to watch them in captivity wearing human clothing and diapers? Who knew this late in my life that I would be fascinated with primates on the other side of my world. Thank you for posting as often as you do. What a wonderful hobby.

They are horrible and abusive. Those poor monkeys get tossed or worse when they get older and can’t generate money for the channel owner. The best we can do is stop watching them. Every view they get makes them $.

@@debvit2353 I only watched a few for about a week when I first found monkeys online. I was shocked at what happens to them. I saw one woman beating a monkey trying to make it sit down. Every dog owner in the world knows to train an animal, there is a reward to obtain a specific behavior. It was too much for me to watch without wanting and in some cases crying. I only watch this and JWs.

That’s exactly what happened. Dopey got the same treatment when he attempted to touch the family jewels. But he went flying. Grandee has never been aggressive towards any baby. But that.

Couple questions: Just curious but why is that boy monkey allowed to stay? Also: how did that hill get all paved like that and why was it done? Specifically for the monkeys? Or for another reason? It’s scary watching those baby’s navigate that slope. 😱 Also: Grandee and Cora snuggling like that, isn’t that unusual for a male monkey? Or is he doing that now because he’s no longer Alpha? And what is those noises they make? It’s not crying or whining it’s just like verbal noises like are they communicating when they do that? They do t seem distressed and there’s nothing going on… just find it interesting and I’m curious about it. Thx. Appreciate the feedback. Love your channel AM 👍✌️🐒♥️

The monkeys in Bossy's troop are sucking/licking the dew/moisture off of the fern fronds. Looked like little Cora was grooming Grandee's balls & maybe pulled some hairs? I don't think Dy was trying to kidnap the baby, just trying to protect it from falling. Sooo yep...💕🐒

I have asked many times. It’s like they don’t belong to this troop anymore. Once in a while I would catch a glimpse of them in the background but I noticed lately AM makes a point to keep them out. They were in a shot about 3 weeks ago and he started to focus on them then swoosh! He moved his camera fast away. He realized who they were and moved. He didn’t acknowledge them, nothing. It was Dorothy and she still had Daphne. No Dorty in sight. Another time there was a scuffle and like 6 of the adult females including Reddy got involved he named all except Dorty, and she was right in front of his camera. But no Dorothy or Daphne was around. I think he wants to control the narrative about these macaques. They are known for being highly aggressive especially towards each other. With Dorothy controlling Daphne last video of her she was extremely tiny. Slowly starving her. I think AM doesn’t want the negative comments. So that’s where we are left. AM did a couple of videos on Stormy, I think JW should be able to check on Daphne. It’s only fair I guess.

Well Dopey touch the family jewels and got the same. Grandee has never been aggressive toward any baby. This was a warning, no touchy. So, is Daphne still alive? Last time she got the spot light Dorothy still maintained control and Dorty nowhere to be found. Dorothy starved Beany, it appears that is what’s happening slowly to Daphne. You can control the narrative but ya can’t hide the truth.

It seem unduly cruel to sterilize a female until she has given birth to a couple of females. It's hard to believe that much thought is given to how the macaque population is managed. It's hard to believe too that allowing this would result in a spike in population given natural attrition. It seems the way in which sterilization is implemented changes the dynamics of the macaque population in a negative and un natural way. It also without question affects the unfortunate females very adversely.

Seems like it huh? AM controls the narrative. Keeping us blind from the truth. He’s gotten to the point where they are not in the background anymore either. Dorothy had control of Daphne the last two times she was spotted. Daphne was extremely thin. Looks like she is slowly starving her. I think she starved Beany, Dortys baby last year. He died. And Dorothy dragged his body around not Dorty. As long as Dorothy is alive, she will continually to take control of Dortys babies and starve them to death. It looks like AM is going to avoid that negativity about these primates. It’s his camera and his videos so he’s going to control the narrative. He’s keeping everyone here blind to the reality that rhesus macaques are highly aggressive primates, especially to each other.

I think some babies that supposedly have just "disappeared" are captured & sold as pets & the argument that the apartments are too small so nobody in HK would want a pet monkey makes no sense to me. They could capture & sell it to anyone in the world. I can hardly watch Dorothy & Dorty coz i get so angry @ Dorty for not jumping on that bitch & biting her nose completely off. Sorry so long. @@beccathib3656 Hello, I'm sorry it's taken a while to respond. I've been working long hours. Just to be clear, this is my theory, not facts. Last year Dorty gave birth to Beany her first born. Footage shows Dorothy had control of Beany all the time. Although Dorty stayed close by Dorthy didn't let go. Beany was very thin as well. Daphne is extremely thin and acts like she is starving. She has also been filmed nursing from Dorothy. Arroz suggested she may have milk but I don't believe that's possible. Especially how thin Daphne is. Dorty has been able to snatch her daughter back to nurse but not for long. After Beany died it was Dorothy who carried his corpse for days, not Dorty. Whatever the case may be, I believe Dorothy caused his death. Whether up high in a tree and Dorty trying to take her baby back causing a tug of war or whatever, Dorothy weakened Beany. Since nobody was there to witness we can only guess and with all the circumstantial evidence against Dorothy, she is the guilty party. As for babies missing, there are many ways for an infant to become missing. Kidnapping from other macaques and causing death. They live in treetops so falling to their death. Abandoning, or getting lost. Poached. So many scenarios to list. Macaques especially rhesus are very aggressive animals. No matter what this channel claims. The least aggressive I believe is the longtail. Human contact has ruined their way of life.

How is Barney charging at any of them to show who's in charge when its Bossys troop an he isnt even supposed to be there!?? Why is it ok for bossys boys to stay but no one else's? Poor little Cora got her heart broken an seemed very scared when grandee pushed her away. What a sad little sound.

It isn't an unusual situation with Barney and Barry because boys to higher ranking female are often allowed to stay in the troop. Sometimes they come and go. It's up to Bossy to decide who's allowed in the troop and she get support from the other females. I can see this is a good situation for Bossy who hasn't chosen a new alpha male yet. She relays on her kids instead. She have had at least 13 babies and might be tired. 🤓🏴‍☠️🇸🇪🇺🇦🕊

@@ML_SE Thank u I didn't kno that. Lately. Bossy doesn't seem to want to be matriarch. Like u said she may be tired. 13 kids is hard on the body!! Thsnk u for answering without biting my head off! Lol! I really appreciate it!

Is it possible that lil Daffy was a bit too personal with the private parts??

That’s exactly what happened. Dopey did the same thing with his balls and Dopey got knocked in the head and went tumbling. He screamed as well. Otherwise there is not any video no matter what where Grandee is aggressive toward a baby, or older child macaque. Just no touchy the jewels.

where do the males go when they reach a certain age?

I can’t be sure but I think they form an all male group further away then they come back to mate when they are old enough .

Some of the high ranking boys are allowed to stay in or come and go into their natal troop. Some of the males stays alone and some become members in an only male's group. Last counting there were 26 troops and 29 peripheral male groups in HK. They do try to become a member of a troop. 🤓🏴‍☠️🇸🇪🇺🇦🕊

I understand how everyone feels. But I do feel sorry for dy being without child. Obviously it drove her into mental issues

A monkey like Dy is super good to have in a troop. Her "kidnappings" tendencies are our fault. We humans sterilised her. I'm glad we don't have a saying in who's allowed to stay or not in a troop because we humanise them to much sometimes and we are no good judges in that case. 🤓🏴‍☠️🇸🇪🇺🇦🕊

I think she is Bossy's daughter, in which case Dy will stay as her mum never disciplines her 😒
