AM I'm also interested in the relationship between the troops. You told us once that Skull head's troop consists of the original Seven's troop and defectors from Biggie's, Thickie's and Cleftie's troops. 😮So, defecting seems to be something that happens in HK between the troops (gives me hope for Vivy and Spotty) but we also knows that troops splits up in smaller groups when the troop grows. JW said once that Skull head's troop is split into 7-8 groups. This is interesting but complicates a thing or two. Car parking troop is also split into smaller groups and I guess all the Mega troops are. Maybe, could it be that some of the troops as we know them to be actually are groups of a bigger troop? Fleur and Xena could be from the same troop but from different groups? Because those forming a group usually have a group alpha male and a group alpha female and the model they probably run these groups by should be what they know and that is like a troop. It could also be more simple, that they are sisters or friends. 🤓🇸🇪

Hello MrAM. I always dread when Nora has her baby each year. It's like the toss of a coin to see if this year's infant will survive. As far as talking about surviving, I am surprised not to have seen how the young mother that adopted a little girl is doing with her hands literally full. I hope both have happy ending this season.
MC told me the mum Emily is keeping her distance to humans and can't always be seen either so it's hard to film her. 🤓🇸🇪

What is the altitude there?
I just said that to MC about a week ago. At the highest point on Golden Hill rd. it's around 265m over sea level and at the main road Tai Po rd. outside the country park it's about 140m above sea level. 🤓🇸🇪

I was going to name Nora's baby, but looking at when this video was made - 2 years ago, he would have already been named. I've recently found your videos and now I'm nigh on hooked on them. I have for a very long time loved Macaques (especially southern Pig Tailed). Thank you for the videos. Incidentally the name I had chosen for Nora's baby was ADONIS.

Fairly new to the channel but these videos are just fantastic. You get to know all the monkeys by name and family which makes watching them very enjoyable. They truly have families just like we do, they squabble like human families do and carry on just like human families. Watching the families interact is priceless.
This woman is making these animals more aggressive and on purpose, this should be absolutely ILLEGAL and she should get in trouble because of her actions one day someone could get hurt or worse! It’s NOT cute letting them go through her bag grabbing and taking what they want, all she is doing is making these monkeys think this is ok to do and tourists pay the price! These are NOT domesticated animals and she should NOT be picking them up so if someone gets hurts remember this who this lady is because it’s her fault for showing these monkeys bad behavior!!
