I have the onyx 5 its only drawback is the battery life when blasting it full mine exactly 2hours im lucky if i get 2:30 hours😅

Love that mono sound of the Studio 6 it so much warmer and fuller.

I just bought onyx studio 6 today and its really a good speaker

the Studio 6 is impressive, more bass than 7 , sounds pretty even at higher frequencies

There must be something wrong with my hearing because everytime I listen to HK studio 6 Vs 7, I always prefer the 7. Think the tweeters make it a all round more complete speaker. The 5 and 6 maybe nudge the bass but I think the two tweeters provide a stereophonic feel that is worth sacrificing a few decibels of bass for. I have the 7 so maybe I'm biased. Still makes my floor rumble, especially when I hook it up with minirig subs and speakers....awesome sound for music and movies!

we definitely gonna need a sofware update on the OS7 if we want it to be better cus at this point it just bad.

HK Onyx studio 6 is a well-balanced speaker for a casual music listening,

Studio 7 definitely has much warmer mids. As an audiophile, the Studio 7 would be my choice.

Two tweeters are doing their job in studio 7, but there is no need for upgrading to studio 7. Studio 6 is pretty good.

Onyx 5 or 6 are Still Beasts.! That Extra tweeter in 7 is compromised on the punchy delivery. I own Onyx 5 and it is un-comparable to any JBL or Marshall.

Studio 7 has a more natural sound but I prefer the studio 6 cos the extra bass filters the sound

I feel like JBL/HARMAN are trying to move towards a brighter sound signature and they weren’t sure what to do with the Onyx 7... and kinda screwed it up. I’m not sure HARMAN a portables are even that important to SAMSUNG (HARMAN’s parent company) anymore as they don’t have great sales figures.

I agree. The studio 6 does sound more open in the video but itit's not thr case because the studio 7 has a more wider sound than the studio 6. The 6 is more narrow sounding with better highs so it sounds a bit louder outdoors and indoors. But in reality they both are about the same loudness. I been having the 6 for a long time. Plus i also have a 7 but onky for 2 days now.

Why does the 7 sound muffled even thought it has 2 tweeters??

Studio 6 had deeper bass while Studio 7 had clearer treble. Studio 7 hardly had a wider soundstage though..!

For me Studio 6 has more clearer vocals and sound and studio 7's tweeter sounds like if you poke it and made a hole in it ngl

5 months ago with his vid. 7 was better. Now in this vid. I’m confused why the 6 sounds better. Planning to get this instead of bb2. Much cheaper

Because the studio 6 has better and clearer highs and vocals. plus the 6 has a more narrow sound which pushes the sound farther towards where its facing. Where as the studio 7 has a wider sound and has slightly more bass with less clearer vocals

HK S6 wins hands down....

Studio 6 is kinder better though the studio 7 upgrade

On my observation Onyx6 had extended sound and bass while onyx 7 seems cut and little bit agressive sound

I think video maker mess up when make video. Couse sound for onyx 6 is actually from onyx 7. I have onyx 7., so I know what I talk.

I think Onyx Studio lineup had peaked with Onyx 6. 7 is more of a rehash of Onyx 4. And the bass doesn't hold candle to 6, or even 5.

xtreme 3 sucks at full volume. It's only good up to about 80%

Studio 7 veryy high bass..

I've gotten a JBL Charge 5 and it's louder than the studio 5
