Texting is not REAL communication. I could tell within the first 60 seconds that this would go nowhere.

Idk what to call those ppl, but there are ppl who make a habit of making plans, and never intend to follow thru. Speaking from experience - they are usually already in a relationship and string u along just for conversation. Either way, if a person doesn’t keep their word, u don’t need them around.

I had a 50 year old man, do the same thing, he would text all the time make plans to take me out for my birthday twice and never did it, he even agreed to visit my church when I asked him to come several times, that never happened always had an excuse for not coming but he always showed up at my house 1-2am and barely answered the phone but always texting. I cut him off, we weren't going in the same direction and he wasn't a man of his word...boy bye which is how he was acting.

I've been there so many times. I had to embrace being single in order to validate my time.

Why would you text a guy that stood you up then asked you out on a certain time and then didn't call- (not text) to tell you when he's coming to pick you up. I would have forgotten about him after the first time - if he didn't show or apologize and make up for it- history. That is decent human behavoir in any ordinary communication- not to mention dating. We don’t treat you wrong and then all of a sudden start treating you right, I think that’s the problem with a lot of woman, thinking that he’s going to change for you, trying to earn that love from him. I believe it’s definitely all started from childhood, when the child had to earn love and attention from their parents, parents gave a child conditional love and as a result grown woman thinks that she needs to give all just earn that love.
