Guided Meditation - The Unconditioned Nature of Being

adyashanti.org - In this calming guided meditation, Adyashanti invites you to feel and sense into the quietness at the very core of consciousness. As you meet yourself with gentleness and engage in the quiet act of surrender, you are able to relax into a timeless and unconditioned dimension of being.
Excerpted from “Silent Retreat Vol. 55 ~ Asilomar Dec 2016 ~ Meditations (Audio ID #653)”:
bit.ly/2dDIRf8
Quotes from this Video:
“As you listen to it and feel into it, you may notice that there are no boundaries to this quiet dimension of consciousness.”
“Notice if there is any subtle sense of holding anywhere in the body, anywhere in the mind, and just remember that you can just let it go. You can just relax a little bit more.”
“I want to invite you into letting go of who the meditator is, of the one who is doing this. Just let your sense of this one fall away.”

I’ve been meditating for years but this meditation brought me my first non dual experiences of my life . The center dropped out and my awareness expanded . I’ve had 3 experiences like this now while doing this meditation .First time blew my mind and was a new experience completely .I realized all the stuff I ever read about non dual awareness had finally happened .The second time it was quite energetically intense and euphoric but shorter in duration . Third time was more mild but stayed with me longer after the meditation and I was able to navigate the world for a while from this shifted awareness . I guess we will see what comes next . Thank you for this !

Another priceless meditation beloved Adyashanti. There are people who try to charge money for "special"meditations that'll "get you there" and they don't have a fraction of your depth of compassion and perception. My heartfelt gratitude.

Dear Adya, thank you for your guiding and to help me listen to the divine stilness in me. Your spoken words but especially your silences give an harmonius flow where I can sink into...not drowning, not wanting...just sinking into the depth of my being. Thank you, thank you, thank you 💙

Wow thank you so much... such a deep meditation where I lost a sense of any little self and felt as though I was breathing in the Universe, with love for everything... ending in a sense of self love I’ve never experienced before. Thank you 🙏

That was beautiful. It felt like Adya was reaching his hand up from stillness and taking me there with him. I like to meditate with my eyes open so the slow panning around the landscape worked wonders for me. Thank you x

Sometimes, it's the words you don't say that communicate the most. If silence is the language of god, then you are a poet.

Lying down with intense stomach pain from eating too fast, I had several moments where I felt heaviness in my body. Even with this physical sensation within, I could ease into the meditation. It was a feeling of shifting from the body, sort of dissolving but at the same time letting it be. A timeless, formless space that contained nothing but everything, there was no difference. Unity. Pure endlessness. And 30 minutes passed by like a few seconds.. This was one of the best experiences of my life. Thank You.

I felt really frightened after this. First I felt like I was small and big at the same time, and I started expanding until it disappeared, there was a body, but no mind, or at least a mind that was separate from me. At this point it started feeling like I was going to die so I had to open my eyes.

The mind creates all type of deceiving patterns, whether for you to feel uncomfortable, or proud, or scared, or that you have reached some point... all that by the images it projects, creating in you a sensation of identification. It's nothing, just your mind playing. Don't try to supress it, or deny it... just allow that images to come and to go. They are passangers don't follow them, specially when you are meditating. Just allow and see the clouds coming and going, don't resist. Your mind tries to escape, because when you are meditating you are killing it in a way. You are putting it in it's place to be more precise. In some time of practice it will no longer wander around, like it used to. It will serve you in the best way you can imagine.

I find myself losing consciousness to this and can't determine if I'm falling asleep or reaching a deeper state of trance. I found myself coming back to thoughts shortly before the ending of this video and did not feel drowsy which I usually do when waking up from sleep. Can anybody tell me which one took place? Will greatly appreciate it.

It might be neither - could just be a state of deep calm and peaceful sense of being. Not being drowsy is an indication that you were still present to your experience.
