Guided Meditation - Resting in Being

adyashanti.org - During meditation, how much can you let go of the meditator? In this guided meditation, Adyashanti points to noticing the naturally present awareness in every moment. As you the meditator drops away, what arises is a presence of being that you can simply rest into.
Video Excerpted from “Silent Retreat Vol. 70 ~ Meditations”:

Quotes from this Video:
“Notice how naturally present awareness is. We don’t have to try to make it happen. It’s just there, so we acknowledge it.”
“Remember that you are transitioning from trying to understand with the mind to intuitively sensing.”
“If you should ever want to remind yourself of what it’s like to let go, just notice your out-breath.”
“Sometimes in spirituality we can get so focused on letting go that we stop attending to what it’s like to receive-to be willing to take the moment in.”
“Just let the meditator in you relax. You may notice that meditation can happen in the absence of the meditator, of the one who is trying to do it correctly.”
“There is this natural meditation that is happening all on its own, and it’s an invitation to let the meditator relax out of the center.”

This was absolute pefection. Rupert Spira's 'Resting the mind on the throne of the heart' - was the description that floated by as awareness floated gently into experience. An open flower ever so gently receiving the mind lovingly into it's centre, and the petals gently closing inward like a blanket of love providing pure peaceful rest. Ahhhhh! How that perfume lingers 🫠 Thank you so so so very much for your truly magnificent gift. This Earth is richer for your awakening. Bless you. Safe in the cocoon of love ❤️

Thank you, I loved it when you mentioned how if you get lost in a thought, you can bring in the meditator to stabilise yourself, and then after that you can see how much of the meditator you need in order to relax the nervous system ❤

Perusing favorites online has its hidden rewards, like noticing that any oratory is not quite in the here and now, as it has already happened in mind.

I also love this meditation. I arrive at a. peaceful state. I try to meditate twice a day, however, I am unable to maintain that peaceful state when I leave my home and go out into the world. I don't relate to the cultural narative about covid19, I don't trust the governement systems or the cdc or who. I understand that in the cosmic world everything is perfect, however, I live in the material world. When colonization happened throughtout the globe to many different countries, people suffered and died in horrible ways, when wars erupted for resources people suffered and died in horrible ways, ,,,when Tibet was invaded by China the monks suffered and died in horrible ways. I truly am serious when I ask...how do I hold to the truth of who I am and the awareness that I am connected to every life form on the planet in the face of the corruptive forces that are truly wanting to have world dominance. ? I have to work through my anxiety most every day...I suspect so did every life form on the planet during very stressful times. Santiago Atilan in Quatamala was completed colonized and most of the traditions lost. I am not saying none of those things should have happened, I am saying how to I hold to Love and Truth when I am not enlightened only willing to be. Namaste'

I like the distinction he makes between noticing and receiving that which arises moment to moment. Noticing is of the mind and the senses while receiving is of the heart. (My take)
